There aren’t words to describe how beautiful this place is. The hosts are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. The farm itself is amazing. From the flower gardens to the farm fresh eggs from the hosts, it is more of an experience than just a place to stay. An all around perfect place, with such generous hosts who were happy to share their farm with us!

Ugh, we didn’t want to leave and neither did, Princess lol… What an absolute amazing spot, was exactly as described.. However, I’m 6’4 so anyone on the taller side, be prepared for the showers in the cabin lol… Now, the showers were great to have, I just needed to duck a little but honestly wasn’t that big of a deal at all… Location, was fantastic. Very quiet and off the main path. Absolutely loved this cabin and we will be making a return trip.

Al was outstanding to work with and made sure we had everything we needed for our pheasant hunting adventure! Kitchen is very well stocked and we ate like kings at the large kitchen table! The pictures do not do this place justice! The area and the place itself is absolutely beautiful! My 6 year old loved the golden tee golf game and we had some good entertainment playing it as a group. Can’t wait to come back next year! Thanks Al!

Great place to get away for some peace and quiet and enjoy the country while not being too far from a town. The house has a vintage feel to it with many antique furnitures and 1950s style hardwood floors, but with modern touches here and there. It’s equipped with some baby/kids stuff like a rocking chair, a crib which seemed to be from the 1970s, high chair, toys, etc. The kids loved seeing the animals especially the chickens. The little playground was not in the best condition but the kids were honestly more interested in the chickens than playing on the swings. Wish we could have stayed longer!

I stayed at Candy's en route to the mid-west for a new job and encountered a snowstorm that turned a 7-hour drive from my home state into about 13 stressful hours of snow driving. Once we got to the farmhouse, all was right with the world. It's very warm and cozy. Candy was very responsive and flexible when we asked to extend our stay for an extra day of rest before we got back on the road. My parents absolutely loved it. Very cute and unintrusive farm dog named Bill. I loved him. Great place to stay: quiet, scenic, comforting. One word of caution for fellow cityfolk - make sure to pack appropriately because there aren't a lot of restaurants in the area!
