Kid-friendly vacation rentals in South Ayrshire

I rented Paul's accommodation for 7 weeks in total and it was lovely, clean and very handy for our tour during their rehearsal period. I shall definitely book again for more rehearsals in Jan/Feb/March 2025. Paul was also very responsive if we needed anything. I would highly recommend this house.

A lovely spot just off a stunning beach. Nice and peaceful and well appointed.

We rented out jennifers house for a girls family get together. The house was amazing with whatever we needed. Most beds were comfortable except one, where the mattress was quite hard. Jennifer was a great host and very responsive. Pubs, restaurants etc were just a short walk away. Great for a chilled time away.

So glad we found this gem ! Perfect for our short stay while visiting family in Ayr. Beautiful and generously spaced property stylishly furnished. It was the cleanest Airbnb we have stayed at so far. Little touches (coffee, tea etc) were very much appreciated. Marcus was very responsive and communicated brilliantly. We felt very at home here and will hopefully be back.

We had a wonderful few days at Grant's place. A lovely house in a lovely location, overlooking the sea and the beautiful sunrises. Peaceful, very comfortable and Grant was very helpful, recommending things to do and places to visit. We would certainly stay again.

I have no negatives about the property and our stay. A beautiful property in beautiful surroundings, just wish we could have stayed longer. Would thoroughly recommend. And we have never stayed in a holiday let with such a well equipped kitchen, literally everything you need is there. Thank you.

This is a very nice place to stay in Troon. Quiet, on the water front, with beautiful surroundings. My boys and I loved the welcoming baked treats laid out on the counter for our arrival. I would definitely stay here again when we return to the area. Thank you to whoever for opening your home…

Herb’s place was exactly what it said on the tin. Great place to stay and has everything you need. What sets it apart is the view from the living room window across the water and over to the Isle of Arran - spectacular. Would love to go back!

Immaculately clean, bright and spacious apartment within easy walk of town centre. Thoroughly recommended. Friendly and swift communication from host.

Lovely place to bring our two dogs for an overnight stay and we all felt right at home. Plenty of on street parking near the flat and a very short walk to the promenade. Due to arriving late afternoon we didn’t get to see much more of Troon but we will be back and would recommend Emma’s apartment to anyone visiting the area :)

Jeanette is a wonderful host and very helpful and quick to respond to anything. Her place is small but fits everything you need for a beachside get away.

This is a nice size flat located on the high street of Maybole.......very private and quite comfortable! It had everything we needed, especially in the kitchen. we never met the host, but she was very easy to reach and responsive to my texts. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend. We were 2 couples in our 50s & 60s and we each said we’d be happy to live there. A great dice and beautifully light and airy. A top tip would be to keep your socks on or where slippers because the laminate floors can feel a little cold underfoot, as were the tiles in the bathroom (this would be a welcome feature in a hot summer I can imagine!) But this does not detract from the wonderful stay we had. Thank you Carrie for hosting us at your beautiful property.

This flat is lovely not far from the Turnberry hotel so great location. Clare was lovely and even dropped the key off for me at the hotel as was having lunch. Lovely quiet area the flat is in plenty of parking. Lovely surroundings beach, light house. Highly recommend will be back 💖

Lovely little flat, directly opposite beach with beautiful views. 10 minute walk to supermarket and lots of restaurants/coffee shops in town. Really enjoyed our stay.

From start to finish, Morag was always available. She was welcoming, informative and made us feel at home. As we had arrived at 10:30 at night, the welcome pack she left us was a godsend! A farm fresh egg omelette, toast and a cuppa was the best of meals!! Everything in Prestwick was just steps awsy - from restaurants, pubs, food shops. We'll definitely be back!

Great location, exactly what we were looking for! Check in/out was a breeze. Short walk to many restaurants and pubs.

Stayed here a few times before, clean and tidy place, easy booking, good comms from the host, will book again when next in the area.

Great spot, perfect location

Accommodation was in perfect location, right in the heart of Troon. Easy access and free parking was a bonus. Flat was clean, modern and had everything that we needed for the couple of days we was there for. We would return again. Thanks for having us.
