The property features a wet weather creek and reservoir that attracts turkeys, ducks, wild boar, and deer. Take a hike, a dip, then head to the brewery for some R&R... your perfect day awaits. All four bedrooms have 50" HDTV's and there is a 70" monster screen in the living room so if you want to stay inside and watch the game (DirectTV/NFL Sunday Ticket!) or get caught up on work (satellite internet), you're covered. In addition to having all the major pay-for movie channels like HBO and Showtime, we also have a great DVD library for the film buffs out there. Hanging out by the fire pit is a great way to cap off a day and don't forget to break out the s'mores. The house is outfitted with high end appliances across the board and even seasoned chefs will find themselves well equipped in our kitchen or at the helm of our state of the art grill. The home is filled with lots of interesting original artwork and the grounds surrounding are serene and picturesque. Located less than 30 minutes to downtown Austin, you get the best of both worlds. My husband and I have stayed here several times and always enjoy coming back year after year for good fishing and relaxing swimming! The house is alway clean and nice and a great getaway from the city life. Love going to Blacks BBQ in Lockhart to grab a great meal every time we stay here! Jeff is a super responsive host and is a pleasure to interact with!

place was great! beautiful yard with a fire pit, pool was great. beds were extremely comfortable. if you do sleep in 1 of the 2 barn rooms, keep in mind no bathroom and if you do have small dogs, there is a possibility they can get under the fencing/gate door. but overall an amazing stay. highly recommend!!

Our group truly enjoyed our visit to Austin, TX and our stay at Tom's house. The house was clean and fully equipped with everything we might need. It is spacious and comfortable, and the outside pool area is really a great space to hang out and relax... and the heated pool was really nice. The location is great, it is a short, enjoyable walk to Sout Congress street and a quick ride to pretty much any other area of the city. There are a few places that are super close, including really nice coffee shop/market that was extremely convenient, and many restaurants, shops, music, nearby. Tom was a great host; communicative, considerate, flexible, helpful with suggestions of things to do/see, etc. and just a nice person. We absolutely recommend staying at Tom's house for your trip to Austin.
