Vacation rentals with a hot tub in Sololá

We love our stay at the villa. It’s gated and private with direct access to the lake behind the house. On clear days you can see the three volcanoes at the lake. The house is surrounded by beautiful gardens. Very peaceful, you can hear birds singing. The interior is beautiful and cozy for the four of us. The house manager Juan is there during the day and took great care of us during our stay. We love that we are just a few steps from the center of the village with a church, market and few local shops. Santa Catalina Palopo is a charming, small, very local village. Just 10-15 mins tuk tuk ride away from Panajachel where you can catch public boat to visit other parts of the lake. We are glad we picked this place as our home base during our visit.

Absolutely breathtaking. I spent the few first few hours here pinching myself. This place is very special - with a garden full of life and colour, and meticulous attention to detail throughout the residence.. There are several "must-stay" places around the Lake front and Villas Del Carmen will no doubt be ranked as one of those once more people become aware of this tranquil place. The pool and hot tub are the perfect way to relax against the backdrop of the lake, plus the Shala for morning meditation or yoga. It couldn't be easier to get here - the entrance is just a few steps up from their private dock (the boat driver will know to drop you here when you follow Sofia's instructions). Sofia is the perfect host...and chef. If you have chance to try her meals, definitely do! I am leaving feeling very blessed and only wish I could have stayed longer. I hope to return one day (but in the meantime, I can only pass on the recommendation). Enjoy!!

Everything was beautiful!! Great location, very private and peaceful. Loved the temperature controlled pool!! And most of all Josue made such a huge difference in our stay. He was attentive, helpful and super friendly! Definitely recommend this location, my family and I had a blast!

Somehow the pictures don’t do justice to this place!! It is way more beautiful! I felt like I own the world, with that view of the lake and the volcanos. The stuff were very helpful, very kind, schedule a massage for me and were there to answer any questions. Two things you need to know though, they were tooo many stairs to arrive to the house from the lake, and they don’t have a comfortable living space ( basically no living room!! Or they do have a small space, but the chairs are not comfortable!!!)

Ana Regina was probably the best host we’ve ever encountered on AirBnb. We had so many questions for her and she answered every single one without getting annoyed with us. She, Santiago, and Veronica were all extremely generous and friendly and made the check-in process and the stay super welcoming. Ana Regina will provide clear instructions on how to get to the house, and the process was honestly super easy. She will explain that the house can only be accessed by boat, so all groceries/shopping needs to be done before you arrive, which is very accurate. This truly is a remote getaway that is perfect for relaxing and recharging. The house has basic spices, cooking oils, and all the basic cooking tools you need, but you would need to supply anything beyond that. Santiago pulled out the paddle boards and life vests for us so that we could explore the lake at our leisure! The many outdoor areas to hang out were perfectly furnished, and the hot tub was a nice bonus. Highly recommend!

Beautiful home, breathtaking views, great location and overall, spectacular. Everything was exactly as shown in pictures. The gatekeeper, Daniel was friendly and very helpful. My family and I had a wonderful time!

We enjoyed our stay. The location is off a quieter street. You are one minute from the municipal market, across the street from a papuseria, around the corner from a laundromat. You can walk into the central part of town in 10 minutes and to the water in 15-20 minutes. You will hear boys cheering for football, fireworks, and a rooster as there are only screens on some windows. But it was private and large. The main bed is very comfortable, the sofa bed not so much. I did ask for extra blankets as the nights are cool. Mari brought them over right away. There is some cooking oil, salt and pepper available to get you started on cooking. I would recommend the place.

Spectacular property with incredible views. Pictures don’t quite do justice to this place. Quite a few steps uphill to the house but worth every single step when you get to the top. Well kept property with incredible outdoor space. Beautiful landscaping. Everything feels like it’s out of a postcard. Could not have asked for a better host. Always helpful and clear communication. Markus made checkin super easy. We felt right at home. He even helped us coordinate for a cook to come in the morning to prepare breakfast. I’ve been to many Airbnbs and being a superhost myself, this place has made the biggest impression. Hands down, a true 5-star! Don’t wait, book it!

This place is a dream. Our whole party of 14 people loved it. Everyone was accommodated lots of room and space. Samuel and Hugo very helpful and attentive. Suzy made wonderful meals. Recommend it!

We had a wonderful stay at the Xocovillas - Mango. The house was perfect for our family and had all amenities listed. We truly enjoyed the view each morning and the spectacular sunset each night. A wonderful, relaxing stay where we enjoyed the sunshine on the patio and jacuzzi tub at our disposal. Hans was a great and responsive host. Special shout out to Juan the caretaker for answering any questions we had and making recommendations. He made our stay exceptional and we can’t wait to one day come back!

Daniel’s place was incredible; breathtaking views; the staff is so friendly and super welcoming is for sure an experience since your welcome to take a boat ride to the house Carlos is super friendly and accommodating. Definitely recommended

Everything was amazing! One thing to note is that there are 300 stairs down from the road, so be prepared for that. The caretaker, René, is super helpful with helping get your luggage up and down and is very responsive to requests and needs. Would certainly recommend this place.

The place is magical and very secluded. Alex was lovely throughout. We took a private boat and hiked in San Pedro. The place was exceptionally clean. We arrived at an endless piece of paradise with a great view. I'm sure we'll be back

Wonderful stay in this cabin with a breathtaking view. Everything was perfect, the host was responsive.

The hotel staff was excellent, very attentive, we were happy with the days.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had a wonderful stay at Magdalena's Home in San Pedro! The location was fantastic, close to everything you need for a great vacation. Me and my family felt extremely safe. While walking around the area can be a bit tough depending on your age group due to the inclined roads, it’s definitely manageable. Luckily tuk tuk are available upon request and extremely affordable. The only thing I would mention is that there was some noise in the morning due to construction, which is out of the host's control. However, I'm sure once it's finished in a couple of weeks, everything will be perfect. The home itself was cozy with an open concept, and the terrace every morning was serene. What really stood out was how attentive the hosts were; they took care of everything and made sure we felt welcomed. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to explore San Pedro.

Beautiful place to rest, relax and share with family. The views are incredible, great facilities with very friendly staff.
