Velvet Room

Casa Las Flores surprised us in every way. It has several rooms available and I think anyone is super good. We had all the necessary amenities. It has a very rich breakfast, which is not very common. There is a very comfortable terrace where you can spend time with friends. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. They have very nice birds. We will surely return here in the future!
A sunlit pathway is framed by neatly trimmed grass and trees, with a clear blue sky above. The pathway leads toward a building with a traditional roof, while a distant mountain is visible, adding a serene backdrop to the scene.

Based on my recommended stay, a place with details and tranquility, ideal to rest, excellent attention from the staff of Casa Las Flores
A creative bathroom setup is presented, featuring a unique sink constructed from a drum. Classic tiles in black and white contrast with the warm yellow walls. A decorative mirror hangs above the sink, and percussion instruments are displayed, adding a musical touch to the space.

Drum`s Room

SuzetteRating, 5 stars42 months ago
The experience was very good, I really liked the place, I would just like it to be mentioned that it is a hostel and not a hotel. I was looking for a little more privacy and when you heard the person next door in and out there wasn't much. Overall the service was good and it's a place close to everything.

Casa Argentina - Suite C

ΑικατερίνηRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The host was amazing and super helpful. She was there for us whenever we needed anything or had any question. The location is close to the port and the center is in walking distance. The room is nice for a short stay, you can use the kitchen as well if you want to cook. They also have a little convenience store next to the reception, so you always have the chance to get something small you may need.

Suite w/Lake View Balcony at Lush Boutique Hotel

The garden is the most beautiful part. Complimentary breakfast made it worth it. The rooms were nice but very hot humid and stale smelling. Not worth the price in my opinion.

Casa Argentina - Suite D

I stayed at Casa Argentina for a month and very much enjoyed my stay. Daly and everyone there were friendly and welcoming. The location is perfect; near the lake with beautiful views. I felt very much at home, and will definitely stay again when I am in San Juan.

Cozy Room with Epic Terrace at Lush Boutique Hotel

SamRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We had a really wonderful stay at Lush. The staff was so, so friendly and accommodating. This is a true hotel, and this suite has a gorgeous terrace tucked into the hillside with an amazing view. We absolutely loved the food (included breakfast was stellar) and the location was as quiet as San Marcos is going to be. The room was as described: cozy with an epic terrace. Things to note, in case you are considering a stay: there are lots of precarious stairs, bugs/spiders/harmless scorpions/birds/dogs live here and it's their home. You will hear and see them around the area, even in the night or early morning. I'm a sensitive sleeper and it's just part of the jungle package to hear birds and animals, somewhat early nearby construction, etc.--welcome to Central America! :) This is an absolutely beautiful place to stay if you're looking for the quietest possible spot with wonderful food, vibes, staff, safety, and plant life.

Lake View King bed at Lush Boutique Hotel

MariahRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Overall a great stay in San Marcos. Awesome location between the natural area and main tourist strip of the town. As other reviews mentioned, get used to the spiders. You won’t see them much during the daytime, but at night, don’t be surprised to see them in the shower with you or upstairs. Upstairs is open to the outdoors, so they will most certainly be in that area. Included breakfast was delicious! Great staff and beautiful jungle feel. Once I got past the ‘critters’ the first night, I felt way more at home and comfortable. Not the quietest space - could hear all the conversations that were had outside the room from the bed, and when the outdoor light was on at night, it was bright in the room. That said, beautiful sunrises in the morning left it bright anyway, so just be okay with not sleeping in the dark! INCREDIBLE sunrises throughout my stay. The stay here did not disappoint.

I absolutely love this place. Our rooms were cozy, our patio was beautiful. We felt so cared for & tended to. The food was incredible and delivered right to your rooms. It was the perfect first place to land upon arriving to the lake. I for sure will be back.

It is one of the most beautiful places I have stayed in throughout Guatemala, the services and extra food they have are wonderful, such as the coffee or tea that you can have in the dining room and the drinking water in addition to the breakfast they include; the room was impeccable in every way, the service staff is very friendly. It is appreciated that it has parking included. I will definitely use this place to stay again and I recommend it to anyone.

The hotel was very nice and as in description. The only small downside was that my room was on the first floor, so it was right next to breakfast area. Better ask a room in upper floors. Location was very good.
