A decent place to relax and have a good time in Xela as well as being authentic

I liked the proximity of the house to the central park. From there I was able to move to the main tourist places in Xela. I also liked that it was close to restaurants, shops, bakery, and tortilleria.

Absolutely loved the place - one of my favourite that I've ever stayed at. Daly was an awesome host and was so attentive and helpful in every way. Not only does she provide accommodation, but will help arrange other things, such as shuttle transfers at some of the best prices I've seen. Has her own little store where you can purchase a number of items, again at great prices. I highly recommend Casa Argentina and hope to visit San Juan La Laguna again as I already know where I'll be staying if I do!

I stayed at Casa Argentina for a month and very much enjoyed my stay. Daly and everyone there were friendly and welcoming. The location is perfect; near the lake with beautiful views. I felt very much at home, and will definitely stay again when I am in San Juan.

A beautiful, artistic eco hotel with wonderful views of Lake Atitlan. Great on site restaurant. But this place is for the adventurous. Must be ready for spiders and steep stairs.

The apartments are molded into the mountain slope, integrating with the lush, green vegetation instead of dominating it. The apartment has many neat design details, although many might find the absence of a front door somewhat disturbing. Beautiful property, not apt for guests with mobility problems due to the steep and sometimes slippery staircases. For other guests: highly recommended. Staff service was excellent.

I've been visiting San Marcos for the past 20 years, but this was my first time staying at the Lush Hotel. The bedroom and bathroom were impressively clean. The hotel is very strict about not taking towels outside, so it's better to bring your towel. However, we each got a towel and enjoyed free breakfast every morning, which had four options to choose from. The hotel provides coffee in the morning at the front desk and drinkable water throughout the day. The access to the hotel was straightforward. The kitchen had a functioning stove, fridge, and basic equipment for cooking. However, if you plan to cook complex meals, it's better to bring your spices. The hotel offers Temescal for an additional cost per person. We needed sugar, and the front desk kindly provided it. Overall, it was a good experience.

Cute hotel with beautiful gardens surrounding it. Tucked away near the nature reserve and swimming area/pier on the edge of town. Very quiet at night, but yet close to everything. All of the staff were extremely friendly, personable, and helpful with local recommendations. Would definitely stay again!

The space is very nice inside the rooms and outside too! :) The location is super convenient, since it is central, and for the price it looks great. Showers with warm water and a garden to relax. I'd be back for sure!

This place was perfect for our needs. It’s in a quiet local area. There are 2 cute restaurants nearby on the beach. We loved using the community kitchen on the roof enjoying meals with a view of the lake. Our room was cozy, comfortable, clean. The store on the main floor is handy and fair priced. We took advantage of the paid laundry service for clothing and also bought some delicious frozen shrimp from their freezers on site. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Great spot on the lake.

Amazing place to stay. A few steps away from the "zona viva" but yet not enough to become uncomfortable. The staff is always friendly and breakfast is delicious! Will definitely stay again!

The place is very well located, it is clean, comfortable, spacious. In addition, the income is independent, something I was looking for.
