Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Sokobanja

The person who welcomed us was warm and helpful. Our golden retriever was welcomed as warmly as we were. The apartment is perfectly tidy, impeccably clean, mosquito nets on all windows, you feel good there. We didn't need to put on the air conditioning, the fresh air coming in from the windows cooled us down. The garden is a peaceful oasis, meticulously arranged. We wanted a vegetarian dish: Milan called the village restaurants for us to ask if they could prepare one for us. As this was not possible, Milan took care of doing some shopping and preparing a meal for us. We had a real feast: typical salad (shopska) with vegetables from their garden (the best of all my holidays in the Balkans), pindzur, kajmak, hard-boiled eggs, delicious bread, and others... lunch in the morning was as good as the evening meal (homemade too) with local dishes. We'll definitely be back.

Mezgraja is in really wild nature. Slobodan accomodation is like paradise with pool, hot tab and nice garden. Slobodan and him wife are very nice people and served us delicios breakfast. I highly recommend!

Mihajlo's apartment is super clean, close to the city centre (12 mins by bus) and there's a supermarket in the area. The apartment has everything you need plus a cozy couch and a big desk (which is nice if you have to get work done). I loved staying at the apartment and felt super comfortable in the area. Mihajlo is a proactive communicator, even picked me up from the airport and we chatted about Nis. He's super easy going and kind. All in all a 10/10 and I highly recommend him as host.

We were looking for a place to stay in Niš / Jagodina area, and came across the wonderful discovery of Predrag's place in Lipovac. The house is beautifully restored and typical of the region. It is tastefully decorated and maintained. Down the road about 800 meters is Predrag's other accommodation and restaurant where we had a beautiful homemade meal on the evening of our arrival. Just past the restaurant is the orderly and fully functioning monastery St. Stephen. It is a worthwhile trip to see this small thriving ethno village and Predrag's place is just the kind of accommodation you would hope for to experience it!

We had a great stay! Nhu's husband Dejan speaks English fluently, which made my friend feel welcome because he doesn't speak Serbian. Nhu's mother-in-law went out of her way to make us vegetarian meals, not such a common thing in rural Serbia, so we're very grateful for that. And the meals were delicious! I would recommend anyone looking to spend a peaceful time with a local family in a beautiful part of Serbia to stay here.

The host is responsive and hospitable, place is nice and clean, great quality for the price.

The apartment was extremely clean, cozy, and even way better than I imagined. It was thoughtfully equipped with every single thing you could possibly need, and it truly felt like home. The environment was also serene and peaceful,perfect for a relaxing stay. The host was kind, responsive, and made the entire experience seamless.
