In the small village of Delbo, 1 mile north of Sala in Västmanland, lies this little gem. Leas basement is a small house of about 25 m2 with all year around standard. Works as self-catering for a longer period of time but even if you want to just stay the night. Leas basement is tastefully decorated with high ceilings, wood-burning stove, kitchen part, toilet and shower. There is a queen size bed (160 cm) and a daybed for two. There's also Wifi as well as a monitor with Chromecast.

Nature outside the door offers beautiful sand beaches, rich fishing waters, cross-country trails, mtb trails and many other outdoor activities. Fully equipped kitchen and bathroom, large terrace and possibility to rent for a small aluminum boat at the nearby campground for caravans. There is a canoe (not kayak) belonging to the cabin, which belongs to the cabin, a couple of life vests.

Small cozy guest house on a lush plot. 400 m from the cottage is Lake Mälaren. Here you can swim by a jetty or small beach in the summer and skate in the winter. Close to beautiful nature reserve with barbecue areas and nice forest. The cabin has one room and bathroom. It has a small, but full kitchen with a dishwasher. There is a bed (140 cm) as well as a fold-up guest bed (70 cm). In the bathroom there is washing machine, shower and WC. Sheets and towels are included.

10 min walking distance from the sea. 1 café, 1 restaurant open during the summer and weekends. 2-3 minute walk to bus stop. 10 minutes by car to golfcourse (with restaurant). Cyclepath all the way in to Gävle city. Towels and cleaning is included in price. Parking in the yard. Pets are welcome but not in the beds. Beds are made when you arrive. Beach plot in Stenskär

Lovely plot with a great view of a very beautiful bay with its own beach! Watch the sun set over the lake, a wonderful spectacle and rocks right outside the door. During the summer months there is a jetty with a swimming ladder into the water as well as a small rowing boat that provides the opportunity for swimming and fishing in the bay. Lake cabin with all the amenities by the fishing lake.

A home closer to the water is probably hard to find. Taking the boat or in winter time going out to Holmen outside to grill and watch the sunset is an extra plus. See also my guidebook The internet works well with mobile broadband via Telia and others. Winter info: Romme Alpin and Kungsberget are slalom slopes 65 km away. Ryllshyttebacken is a nice family hill 12 km away.

Cozy cottage for yourselves

With us at Blänkebo Gård you will be staying in the countryside in Sweden's Nearest town with proximity to a lot, but it is also great to just relax. The cottage is newly renovated but with preserved older charm and there is both underfloor heating and a wood-burning stove during the cold season. Outdoors, there's plenty of room for play and movement.
