Vacation rentals with beach access in Smithfield

Absolutely wonderful week stay at Denis and Annes property. Everything was exactly as described. Clean, very comfortable and the facilities were excellent. Plenty of kitchen equipment, full washing facilities and the bathrooms were large. The beds were so comfortable! I highly recommend and we will definitely be back. On Palm Cove itself, the fishing was superb and a good variety of species to chase. The swim net was a area we used daily. Plenty of restaurants all within walking distance. I am so impressed with everything we have come across this week. Thank you to Denis and Anne for such a wonderful accommodation and allowing us to stay!

We had an amazing stay! The place was spotlessly clean and wonderfully quiet, providing everything we needed for a comfortable getaway. It was incredibly spacious for the three of us, and the pool area was a standout—warm, with plenty of shaded spots and a BBQ area, perfect for relaxing. The other guests were delightful, friendly, and always up for a good chat! Our time here felt too short, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommend!

Nikki's apartment was so nice!! Comfortable, clean and in a great location if you're keen to walk down to the beach. The beds and linen are beautiful, the whole place is very nicely set up and so comfortable. We loved our short stay and would happily stay again.

We had the most wonderful stay at this charming unit! Perfectly located just a short walk from the beach, it was so convenient to pop down for a stroll along the shore. The area was also full of amazing cafes and restaurants, making it easy to grab a bite to eat or enjoy a relaxing coffee. The unit itself was spacious, clean, and fully equipped with everything a family could need. From the kitchen to the patio and the comfortable bedrooms, we felt right at home. There were even thoughtful touches like beach towels and books, which made our trip even more enjoyable. The whole experience was seamless and stress-free, and we couldn’t have asked for a better spot for our two-night getaway. Highly recommend for families looking for a convenient and comfortable stay! We’ll definitely be back!

We had a great stay in Sylvia’s beautiful home. Sylvia is a great host and very responsive. The location and home allows for a stress free break in a holiday environment. Just the right distance from the city to disconnect when required. We will stay there again next time we visit.

Nadia’s house was beautiful and spotless. I wish I could’ve stayed longer. If I’m in the area again, I will definitely be reserving it again.

We loved this place! We were a large intergenerational family, ranging from my senior mother to my 10year old son. The house is well distributed, easy access, private rooms and great communal areas, well suited everyone. The lovely swimming pool at the centre was a well enjoyed highlight. it is an easy walk to gorgeous Palm Cove beach and the lovely restaurants, cafes and wine bar. Easy drive from either Cairns or Port Douglas. Antje and Nikki were very responsive and always helpful. I highly recommend this stay!

What a dream house. Most picturesque place we've ever stayed at. The morning sunrises were breathtaking, the house pristine. Lots of space to relax, indoor and out. The backyard space was perfect for my kids (8, 5 and 2) to stretch their legs while the adults could relax on the covered outdoor patio. It was a magical holiday period with my family and the house was a large reason why. We only wished we could have enjoyed the house more during the day with all of our area trips- guess that means we need to book a trip back! Certainly a place we would stay at again. Graham and LL were super friendly and helpful. We loved it and HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone looking for a beautiful, private place right on the water. Stay for a family of 5, 2 adults and 3 kids.

Will was always contactable and forthcoming with information regarding our stay. The house was in a quiet residential area and the neighbours were friendly. The kids loved the pool and the layout of the bedrooms is great for a large family or multiple families (such as ours). We really enjoyed our stay at Will's place.

We really enjoyed our stay with Rod and Evelyn. The area was beautiful and the garden unit of the house was quite spacious and had more rooms than we needed. Our 5 yr old boys loved jumping on the trampoline and playing in the front and back yards, as well as watching the heritage pass by several times a day. The hosts were highly responsive and accommodating to our needs, as well as being friendly and offering local tips. Would definitely book again/recommend to others.

In the 8 years I have been using Airbnb this was by far my best experience ever. The house was even more beautiful than the pictures online. Lisa was an amazing host. Always willing to help and super flexible. We are so grateful for our stay here. The house was so clean and cosy. The kitchen had all the necessary tools. The house was spacious and luminous. The pool is amazing to relax and offers enough space in the shade to read a book. We also loved the fact that the house was so close to the beach. Ideal to run in the morning or do a nice walk along the coast. The perfect house if you want a nice getaway with your family or a group of friends. Would 100% recommend and if we ever come back we will surely stay here. Once again, thank you Lisa from the whole family. ❤️

Simple apartment in a part of town that was within walking distance of many attractions. We enjoyed the pool after a day of hiking. We felt it was a good value.

Palm cove is the perfect location for a holiday. Peter and Satina apartment is the perfect place to stay ground floor access to pool and all amenities. We will return.

A sprawling home with great views. Kitchen was fabulous. The bedrooms and bathrooms were top notch. The patio area had comfortable seating. Even though the place is a part of a small group of apartments, it felt totally private. Covered car park was a bonus. Hosts are super responsive and helpful. One reaches the place through two flights of narrow stairs. It may be difficult to carry large luggage or if you have mobility issues. Otherwise this is a dream vacation home

We stayed for a few days and wish we stayed longer in the area. This place has a lot of amenities included and while we didn’t make much use it’s nice that they are there. Walkable restaurants nearby, beach as well. We would come back for sure.

We traveled to Cairns for a family vacation! Christine’s place was top notch in terms of location and surroundings with very happening cafes & restaurants just around the corner. Moreover, we spent 2 days just enjoying the property with great ocean views and coffee ! Pool & tennis lawn added more entertainment! This relaxed city & the property has given our family a core travel memory! Highly recommend this property a great family vacation living experience !

Paul's unit is in a perfect location. We canceled our car rental because everything is very walkable. Great restaurants, markets, shopping, and activities in the area. The balcony has a beautiful view of the esplanade. Loved hanging out at dusk watching the fruit bats. We will stay here again if we return to Cairns for a holiday! Recommend Passions of Paradise for snorkel/dive coral reef. Great staff and a wonderful boat! Thanks, Paul!

it is a good accomodation in Cairns ever. if i have chance to go back Cairns i defintely stay in this place rather than wasting tine chasing somewhere else 😀
