Family-friendly vacation rentals in Smith County

Very peaceful and beautiful place, my family and I enjoyed it so much, my 70 old father and the adult grandkids said that is the new family vacation spot for summers when we go to visit our daughter. Very rustic, but well taken care of property. My dad loved the coffee they provided.

This was a comfy place to stay with our teen boys. It has a full kitchen with more appliances and pans than we could imagine using in a short stay! The carriage-house is tastefully decorated and suitable for men and boys as well as women (as in not completely covered in cat prints and floral patterns - lol). The hosts, Mike and Barbara, are wonderfully thoughtful and gracious. They took the time to give us a tour of the Manor House. We enjoyed chatting with them.

Peaceful getaway. We enjoyed our stay in the family cabin. The beds were very comfortable and there’s a nice back deck to sit on that’s enjoyable for morning coffee or a nice evening.

We have stayed at this house 4 times now. We LOVE it! The house is beautiful and has everything you need. The beds are comfortable. The view is amazing. We absolutely love getting to use their boats in the private lake. This house is so special to us and we always have such a great time and make wonderful memories. Dennis is a great host and is always there to answer questions. I highly recommend this beautiful cabin!

Dragonhead Cabin was amazing! Was the absolute perfect getaway weekend to enjoy the fresh air, and enjoy relaxation time. The cabin was cozy, eclectic, and contained everything and everything that you need. We will be going back in the future. Thank you Kathy and Jeff for everything !

This was a great place to stay! The home and property were beautiful and in a very peaceful location. The weekly cleaning service was amazing for our group. Kathy and Jeff were very helpful and communicative as well. I would recommend being hosted by them to anyone and would definitely stay there again!

this is a truly beautiful, peaceful place.. we loved visiting with the donkeys, Rosie and festus Vicki was very helpful. Just SOOO peaceful. serene our teepee was SOOO very cute.

Lovely quiet cottage with everything you need. This is my second stay. I’m sure I’ll be back!

So much charm and warmth in this step back into the past. I kept finding little treasures that reminded me of my Granny’s house. Home baked cookies were unexpected but welcomed. We’ll be back when we come to Lindale again. Absolutely lovely!!

Hollie was very friendly and communication between us was great. Her directions were precise. Her home was very comfortable and inviting. She described her home and property accurately. We enjoyed fishing from the dock, sitting on the large patio and watching the deer at dusk. We had a very enjoyable time.

Quaint and clean little studio with loft for extra bed. Would like to stay here again.

We didn’t get to the cabin until late evening so we didn’t get to do much. We felt right at home and my kids loved the cabin. The next morning we walked around and saw how much there was that we missed. So we will definitely be coming back to enjoy the entire experience. Wonderful place, will recommend!
