Family-friendly vacation rentals in Smith County

Very peaceful and beautiful place, my family and I enjoyed it so much, my 70 old father and the adult grandkids said that is the new family vacation spot for summers when we go to visit our daughter. Very rustic, but well taken care of property. My dad loved the coffee they provided.

Kevin and Debra were so kind and helpful. They communicated with us often and made sure we were having an amazing stay. On top of being cozy, we felt super safe ! That’s very important to us as traveling girls. They allowed a later check out time so we could enjoy more of the property before leaving :) We would definitely book with them again!

This was a comfy place to stay with our teen boys. It has a full kitchen with more appliances and pans than we could imagine using in a short stay! The carriage-house is tastefully decorated and suitable for men and boys as well as women (as in not completely covered in cat prints and floral patterns - lol). The hosts, Mike and Barbara, are wonderfully thoughtful and gracious. They took the time to give us a tour of the Manor House. We enjoyed chatting with them.

Peaceful getaway. We enjoyed our stay in the family cabin. The beds were very comfortable and there’s a nice back deck to sit on that’s enjoyable for morning coffee or a nice evening.

We have stayed at this house 4 times now. We LOVE it! The house is beautiful and has everything you need. The beds are comfortable. The view is amazing. We absolutely love getting to use their boats in the private lake. This house is so special to us and we always have such a great time and make wonderful memories. Dennis is a great host and is always there to answer questions. I highly recommend this beautiful cabin!

This was a great place to stay! The home and property were beautiful and in a very peaceful location. The weekly cleaning service was amazing for our group. Kathy and Jeff were very helpful and communicative as well. I would recommend being hosted by them to anyone and would definitely stay there again!

this is a truly beautiful, peaceful place.. we loved visiting with the donkeys, Rosie and festus Vicki was very helpful. Just SOOO peaceful. serene our teepee was SOOO very cute.

Was very peaceful beautiful property. Nice and quiet. Very cute cottage. Was very nice let us check in early which helped a lot. The bed isn’t made for tall people lol 😂 but couch was really comfortable.

Hollie was very friendly and communication between us was great. Her directions were precise. Her home was very comfortable and inviting. She described her home and property accurately. We enjoyed fishing from the dock, sitting on the large patio and watching the deer at dusk. We had a very enjoyable time.

Lovely property, very quiet and serene, cozy cottage, well stocked, kind and friendly hosts, and sweet doggos! Would happily return :)

We didn’t get to the cabin until late evening so we didn’t get to do much. We felt right at home and my kids loved the cabin. The next morning we walked around and saw how much there was that we missed. So we will definitely be coming back to enjoy the entire experience. Wonderful place, will recommend!
