First off, the space is wonderful, exactly as described. Secondly, the area is very walkable We walked to the zoo, the botanic gardens, the park, and local restaurants for dinner. Thirdly, Hanna is an absolute gem. She answered our questions beforehand and procured some black tea for me. If I have reason to go visit Denver in the future, I would love to stay at one of Hanna's places.

I’ve visited Denver a few times, but this was my first time in this neighborhood. The neighborhood is nice and walkable, and Gabriel+Vanessa were very proactive with recommendations and instructions for the stay. They were super communicative in response to any questions I had. The space is a fully functional suite under their house with a full kitchen and bathroom. For being under a house, there isn’t an issue with sound. It was easy to get in & out and parking is easy. The only drawback issue I had was that the internet was slow and spotty when I was trying to work and I had to go to a cafe instead.

Absolutely loved our peaceful stay at Tyler’s. Everything about it was perfect in my opinion. Very walkable to super cute coffee shops and restaurants and even vintage stores. I felt safe and the place was spotless and bed was super comfortable. I am a very light sleeper and sleep with a noose machine and ear plugs but my partner did notice without the noise machine that you could sometimes hear little (children’s) footsteps playing upstairs in the early morning. It never bothered us or woke us, but just good to bring ear plugs if you sleep super light! Would absolutely recommend this stay for a couple, a single or even a couple and a kid or two. We had a great stay at this quiet basement studio near Colfax Street in Denver. The space was perfect for a couple of nights—clean, cozy, and stocked with everything we needed. The bed was nice and firm, making for a comfortable night’s sleep. The location was ideal, especially for attending a show at the Ogden, which was just a short walk away. Our host was incredibly attentive and responsive, which made the whole experience even better. The only minor downside was parking, but that’s to be expected in Denver. Overall, we’d definitely stay here again!

For a house built in 1875, Betty has maintained a lot of its authentic elements while incorporating modern day conveniences for guests. The bathroom is quite large for an older house. The kitchen may be somewhat small but had everything you may need including a dishwasher. We loved the nice patio and wall mural outside the bedroom. The convenience to the park and downtown Golden and bike trails can't be beat. It is our favorite place to stay in Golden and Betty makes sure you have what you need!

The best review I can give is that I've stayed at this Airbnb five times. Whenever I happen to be in the Denver area for work, this is my home base. Not only is the property well maintained, it's constantly being improved.

Great stay! It was SO nice and quiet here for sleeping, not always true in other lower level apartments. Lots of natural light from the windows. Has everything you need, everything worked great, looked great and felt very private. Very comfy bed, too! I met the hosts out working in their yard and beautiful garden, such nice people! Would stay again for sure. (Side note: National Jewish Health is a short, easy walk from here if that’s your destination.) Thanks!

You will not be disappointed with this RB&B. With all accommodations, cleanliness, and the location of open space along the mountain range, and only miles away from the highway made it easy access to the mountains, or the Denver area. There is a park you can walk to with trails along the front range that go for miles. This location offers incredible views of the mountains that go on forever. Moreover, the host had excellent communication from start to finish that made our experience comfortable and enjoyable. This RB&B was a fantastic experience frim start to finish.

Sonja's basement apartment worked really well for my purposes. I stayed for a week and it felt like home! It's situated in a comfortable neighborhood and although you're in the basement of a house, it felt private. I did not hear any noises above me like some previous reviews stated. Everything was peaceful and quiet for the entire time I was there. Having a fully functional kitchen and laundry machines was great. When I had a question, Sonja called me back almost immediately to answer it. I'd highly recommend!

My friends and I had a great mini college reunion here, and we were thankful to find a chic and spacious, private space. Parking was easy, the rooms were comfortable, and we had plenty of room to bring our own groceries. It is a basement guest suite, so we could hear everything that was happening above us -- a little less than ideal when we were trying to take midday naps -- but the amenities of the space (like personal fireplaces in each bedroom and a teakettle and Keurig for morning beverages) more than made up for the upstairs noise. The unique aesthetic details were also beautiful, making it a welcome space to return to after brunch or a walk around the neighborhood. Highly recommend to couples, a small traveling family, or a few friends who are close but also like a little private space.

We had a wonderful stay at Dana’s Airbnb. We feel so grateful to have found such a lovely space and kind host. The bnb was exactly what we had hoped for — spacious, comfortable, great natural lighting, a supremely well stocked kitchen, a huge shower and tub, great heating which made our wintery stay so cozy and soft king size beds. Dana went above and beyond to make sure that we were comfortable throughout our stay. She stopped by to help us figure out how to use an appliance and replied promptly and compassionately to any questions we had. Would most definitely stay here again. Extremely clean, instructions were extremely detailed, owners take pride in the place they provide for out of town travelers. Outside of the occasional footsteps, this place did not feel like a basement. Huge bonus to have every light with a dimmer. Owners went above and beyond during a recent snowstorm, taking the preventative measures and even making sure the walkways were clear of snow. Easy to find. Excellent location. One of, if not, my favorite stays.

Damon was a fantastic host! We drove up from Texas for New years and this is the perfect spot in Aurora close to a bunch of neighborhood grocers, food options & parks/ hiking. Even though on the listing you are informed that you might hear them upstairs (& their dog) we didn’t really hear anything the duration of our trip (5 days). We were also happy with the beds super super comfy and everyone had their own space and bathroom. The furniture was really comfy as well & the appliances were all as listed. Damon responded super quickly anytime I messaged. Highly recommend for a group of friends or family.
