Vacation rentals in Slates Hot Springs

We spent several nights in David’s condo, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. I had kind and timely communication with David even before our arrival, and the condo itself was just perfect. The pictures don’t do it justice, it is in a very peaceful, private area and closer to the water than expected. Breathing the ocean air and the sound of waves is so healing. I watched humpback whales breach and dolphins feeding, it was very pleasant to have pelicans flying right past as well. The sunsets were beautiful and it was such excellent viewing at any time of day with 2 deck levels to choose from. You can view the coast from Santa Cruz all the way down to Monterey! The condo is tastefully decorated and spacious, and the beds were extremely comfortable with cozy quilts and pillows. There are comfy throws for your lap and many other homey touches. The condo has so many dishes and pots and pans it’s easy to cook a meal. I can’t wait to stay there again. Thank you David!

Our 5 day stay was great. Felt right at home. Great location w an amazing view. Place was nice and clean. We found beach gear as well that’s provided by the host. We were greated with complimentary snacks and bottled bubbly water. Kitchen had everything needed to cook if need be. We will definitely be coming back once the opportunity comes around.

Beautiful home in picturesque coastal neighborhood!

Clean, comfortable and convenient! We came to visit our new grand baby in SLO, a party of 3 adults and a 9 year old. We picked to stay at Elizabeth and Eric’s place due to the great reviews and affordability. Elizabeth’s reviews were spot on! It’s mostly a rural setting just outside a semi urban environment. The house is perfect! It’s clean, updated and well appointed. Large backyard setting is awesome, we saw deer and wild turkey 🦃 The hot tub was fantastic - a perfect ending to a long day of visiting relatives. We look forward to returning in the future. The home was great in terms of accommodating our family reunion. There were 10 of us, representing three generations. The living area, dining area and kitchen were great for getting together. The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped for all the cooking needed to feed us all, including lots of plates, cups, glasses and utensils, and items needed to prepare and serve all kinds of food. All the needed soaps, cloth and paper towels, garbage bags, etc. were much appreciated. The layout of the home also was great for separation. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spaced nicely apart. Bathrooms were fully stocked. In addition, the extra family room was a plus, as well as the large, enclosed backyard for running around. Furthermore, there was lots of parking space and play equipment in the large garage. Security was not a concern.

Steve’s place was exactly as shown in the photos. He greeted us and gave us a tour of his property and tips for utilizing his Airbnb. He is very personable and a man of many talents. He built his house, is a wonderful carpenter who built almost all of the furnishings in his Airbnb, a winemaker who gifted us a bottle of wine and happily whistles away the day. You will love Steve’s place! We surely did!

Very lovely place to stay near the beach. The condo is beautiful and updated. We enjoyed it very much. Host was very helpful and the unit had everything we needed.

Excellent host! We loved the view from the front room. Quiet neighborhood, plenty of beds. We especially loved that the entire home was arranged with little kids in mind—gates, high chair, crib, stuffed animals, etc. These thoughtful touches made our stay precisely what we needed for our family. Plenty of parking too. I recommend this location and host!
