This house is more beautiful than the pictures show. The location is wonderful and so peaceful. We were lucky to have the snow and it was just like a winter wonderland. Pia was so helpful in suggesting things to do and anything else we asked before or during our stay. We’ve had the most wonderful holiday! Thanks 🙏

Me, roommate, our dog and my parents had a super stay at Julie's place. There were four bedrooms so we had plenty of room. She even arranged a bed and chair for our baby and was very easy and pleasant to communicate with. In addition, it was a crazy cozy neighborhood with a nice beach nearby. Recommended :)

Fride's guesthouse is simple but very cozy and everything works. We spent 2 relaxing weeks there and felt very comfortable. Fride is very friendly and helpful and we thank her for the beautiful stay at her guesthouse. We'll be happy to come back.

We enjoyed a super nice week as a family at Anne's cabin! Thank you Anne You are a great hostess, answered all questions immediately and helped us further. The location of the cottage offers pure enjoyment and tranquility with magnificent views as well as great places to play and read. We jumped into the 15 degrees fresh swimming lake in the sun. The kitchen offers everything you need to cook delicious meals. Wood and an oven provide warmth when the fog draws over the mountain, fresh fountain water tastes delicious, as well as the outdoor dishwasher make the real Norway feeling perfect. The nearby Ivarsbü provides unforgettable views of secluded hiking trails. We will be happy to come back. Small notes: Important after the last barrier at the first left turn immediately sharply to the left, then you will come on the way to the right road to the mountain hut.

We had two great days at the horse farm. The surroundings are fantastic and the landlords extremely friendly and accommodating. Our children were able to ride, move freely and were happy.

Alf was a wonderful host, quick to respond and check we had everything we needed. The place was lovely, incredible views and very much worth the money! Would recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful, cosy break.

Beautiful house with a great garden. It's not a regular home: lots of rooms, hallways, stairs... characterful and unique. Due to circumstances, we spent 10 days in this house. That went fine. The only downside is that the road the house is on is quite busy. As a base perfect. Contact with the owner also good. In short, we would recommend it to anyone.

Nice renovated house with all necessities. Lots of old details. Plenty of privacy and private garden. Host has a lot of love for details and for the garden. Very nice contact. House is on a slope within walking distance to the center. So climb when you go back. Telemark Canal with locks is easy to visit from home.

The first thing that struck me was how incredibly nice Målfrid was and how well she welcomed us, it very reassured me and calmed down some of the anxiety. We all loved the cabin(s) and how well authenticity was taken care of, it was like being part of the story. When Målfrid saw that we were more adults than children, we also had access to the annex, it made the experience complete with me having a movie night with the kids all alone in the same bed as me, I also had a place to retreat to when the shape quickly changed to the worse several times, for someone who is sick like me, it's really worth gold. The top of the ice cream was that Målfrid arranged for my daughter to ride even if it wasn't the season for it. The girl who came was very good with her and spent more time than agreed, she is still talking about it and was quite a hundred afterwards. The weekend we were there went above and beyond if you disregard the bang and fall on trips out to the outhouse where there were slippery mountains and grass 🤭😂
