We can only join all the words of praise we had read about the cottage, the area and the host. The cabin is cozy, well-appointed, well-maintained and clean. We arrived when it was dark, so it was nice that the lights were on, the cabin was warm, the wood-burning stove was prepared for lighting, and the bed was made up. Nice that the stay includes bed covers, towels, firewood, and basic items in the kitchen. We had some really good days on cross-country skiing, after which it was thawed, and the slopes were iced. In the cabin, there were stingers to put on their shoes, so even though we couldn't go skiing, we had some great hikes to the high mountains, thanks to the stingers. Good private location with no neighboring cabins. We would love to come again, even in other seasons.

Super host and beautiful nature with a fantastic location on the lake. This is wilderness and for those who love simple accommodations with a beautiful view of the lake.

Simple but lovely cabin in fantastic natural area directly by the lake. Perfect for recharging for everyday life and those who like to have a quiet time. It is possible to bring a dog that was spot on for us. Just recommend. 😉😁

Simple and cozy space to sleep a night on the road. Nice to be able to let the dog walk freely in the backyard.

Wonderful place, camping equipped with everything you need to feel at home. The sauna is “the icing on the cake.”

Cozy and nicely decorated cabin with good layout. Fast and good dialogue with host. Great outdoor area and quiet surroundings. We were there without children, but look great to travel also with children due to a lot of outdoor area that can be used for shoes, sledding, etc. Good beds.

A beautiful and peaceful place of which we will keep wonderful memories! We immediately felt at home in this little cocoon by the water. Lots of charm, great tranquility and a soothing view. The cabin is also very well equipped; there is absolutely nothing missing! Thanks to Hanne for sharing this place!

My family and I had a great stay at Eystein's cabin. Cozy host and cozy cabin. Clean and neat. Just perfect for big ones as for little ones. Lots of cabin for the money. We would love to come again!

We had a wonderful stay at Cecilie's apartment in late July 2024! The location in Kragerø can right and easily not get better. When you go out from the building you are in the middle of the busiest pedestrian street in the city with a bustling life and good atmosphere. It is not possible to park in the immediate vicinity of the apartment, but there is short term parking a stone's throw from the entrance so that you can get tired if you come by car. We parked the car in the long-term parking at Rema1000 on Kalstad; where it costs 100,- per day or 500,- per week. From there you can take a bus for 7 minutes back to the city center. The apartment was large, bright and spotless! Really nice with handwritten welcome letter with accompanying snacks and refreshments ;) The balcony was small, but with a fantastic view and enough space to enjoy the morning coffee and feel the atmosphere from Kragerø city that comes to life! All in all we were super happy - one of the best Airbnb's we've stayed in! Thank you for us - hope to come back!

We had two great days at the horse farm. The surroundings are fantastic and the landlords extremely friendly and accommodating. Our children were able to ride, move freely and were happy.

The first thing that struck me was how incredibly nice Målfrid was and how well she welcomed us, it very reassured me and calmed down some of the anxiety. We all loved the cabin(s) and how well authenticity was taken care of, it was like being part of the story. When Målfrid saw that we were more adults than children, we also had access to the annex, it made the experience complete with me having a movie night with the kids all alone in the same bed as me, I also had a place to retreat to when the shape quickly changed to the worse several times, for someone who is sick like me, it's really worth gold. The top of the ice cream was that Målfrid arranged for my daughter to ride even if it wasn't the season for it. The girl who came was very good with her and spent more time than agreed, she is still talking about it and was quite a hundred afterwards. The weekend we were there went above and beyond if you disregard the bang and fall on trips out to the outhouse where there were slippery mountains and grass 🤭😂
