Waterfront vacation rentals in Skagit County

We've been staying at Julie's and Peter's place/s for close to 15 years now. They are unsurpassed in the quality of attention to detail, added amenities, and communication when it comes to vacation homes. We woke up this morning and I said, "They did it again. We walk in, we settle, and we feel like home." We don't ever feel this comfortable anywhere else, and frankly, don't want to return home. My husband thought about going out to buy a kite, and I said, "I bet there's one here." There were two! Plus, the West Beach walks with the views in every direction at this location are something else. Thank you for sharing your magic, Julie and Peter - our kids have practically grown up vacationing on Whidbey thanks to you.

Our stay here was great! The view is amazing and we were able to watch the sunrise. There were three of us during this stay (me, my husband, and toddler) and it felt like the perfect size. It might feel more crowded much more than 3-4 people. The hot tub was great and we saw rainbows and eagles while enjoying and relaxing in the hot tub! The bed was comfortable to sleep on. Couple of things to note: the house didn’t have laundry detergent, cooking oil, or salt and pepper. However when I messaged the host, they responded immediately and dropped off the supplies pretty quickly, which was nice. The toiletries weren’t super great, so I’d recommend bringing your own. Lastly, there’s no EV charger (which we confirmed with host beforehand), but there is an outlet in the parking area which we used (but super slow charge fyi). Overall, great stay and close to everything we were interested in for this stay (tulip festival and deception pass).

We absolutely ADORED our stay by the beach!! The house is well stocked with everything you could possibly need to prepare meals, plus you're within short driving distance of a grocery store, restaurants, and more. We took full advantage of the fire place since it was cold and rainy most of our trip, and listening to the waves crash against the sand was the free therapy we both needed. We will absolutely be back! :)

Our stay at Diane’s cottage was amazing! Due to the ferry being only a walk on, we had to leave our car in Anacortes. Diane assured us our car parked in Anacortes would be safe and she would meet us at Guemes Landing and she did not disappoint. Everything was exactly as she promised and even more. She went above and beyond showing us overwhelming hospitality. She was consistently checking to make sure we were comfortable and everything was in order. The chairs and walks on the beach were perfect. I would not hesitate to recommend her cottage to any friend or family and look forward to spending time there again. We’ve had several Airbnb stays and I would put this experience right there at the top of. “Diane, thanks for sharing your cottage with us!”

I can truly say this was one of the best experiences I’ve had an an AirBnB 1. Zeeny was super responsive and even offered to rebook us because of the snow. We’re a bunch of nerds and made it work cause we were excited. Her neighbor was so incredibly kind and had plowed the drive way and did their best to make sure those that could make it up the hill could. 2. The space was clean and warm and inviting. 3. I cannot stress this enough, the views from this house are immaculate. The water was so gorgeous and reflected everything. The drive down to the house was just beautiful. 4. Zeeny was super accommodating and let us stay late and check in early. Overall. Zeeny and her house are gorgeous and I cannot recommend this place. I cannot wait for our next vacation here. It was such a great experience.

Our stay at Amy and Dans place far exceeded our expectations. They are so warm and friendly and extremely welcoming as well. They offered help if we needed it as my husband has walking issues. They were super attentive. I absolutely loved sitting on the private deck and the view is lovely.

We had a lovely stay for a weekend. We didn't experience Naval base noise to be honest, and only saw 2 planes over the 3 days we were there. Beautiful location on Whidbey - the state park beach makes for a lovely walk. There are neighbours very close by so you may feel more exposed at times. It wasn't an issue for us as the house next door was vacant. All in all a great weekend on Whidbey! Would be perfect for anyone visiting family working on the base.

Beautiful & serene - this is the consummate Pacific Northwest stay. The houseboat had all necessary amenities needed for our stay, our only wish was to stay longer!

This location is incredible due to the immaculate surroundings. Ginny and Glen have perfect spot to decompress after a long day at work. I stayed for two weeks and it truly was comfortable and quiet. The patio’s provide an excellent view of the lake and surroundings. Ginny and Glen were very helpful and great to talk to. I have a long job in the area and will be booking again over the next few months.
