Remington Cabin, #2

KevinRating, 5 stars7 months ago
The cabin was as advertised, private, clean and well maintained. Meghan was there when I arrived and was super friendly and very helpful. The area is very quiet and peaceful and steps to the Trinity River. I would recommend the cabin to family and friends. Thanks, Meghan!

Great value, as described just like the pictures. Validate BBQ if you are wanting to use due to fire restrictions.

Chili Pepper Cabin

CorbinRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Great little rustic and charming cabin in Happy Camp. Katrina was very kind and the place was perfect for what we needed to do. Right across from the kingfisher market so easy to walk around and plenty of space for the two of us and the pup. Would recommend if in the area.

Cabin Hideaway

EnzaRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
This is the third time we have spent time in Lisa's cozy cabin, as Dunsmuir is an ideal stop for us en route to our son in Portland. We love it! Although we never play any of the games she has provided, we love the comfortable bed, the shower amenities, and (at Christmastime) the Christmas tree! Lisa was particularly accommodating this time, as I had forgotten to mention our pet when we signed up. PS Pizza Factory in town = great pizza!

Janet's place was quiet, peaceful, clean and safe. It was the perfect place to disconnect from our busy lives and my little dog was welcome to go too. We enjoyed not having a tv, it gave us more quality family time. We will stay again !!!
Cabin in Orleans

Riverside Cabin 2, Sandy Bar Ranch

RoyleRating, 5 stars8 months ago
We have lots of family over the hill in the Hoopa Valley, and staying in Orleans is a quick half hour drive up river. The Klamath river in this area is special and spiritual, especially for the Karuk people and other indigenous folks that live throughout this area. If you are looking for a quiet place without electronics to disconnect from the outside world and reconnect with yourself, this remote part of northern California is for you. Be respectful. The ranch property and the areas immediately around Orleans are great, safe places to walk the river. You'll see deer, herons, osprey, trout jumping, and maybe some otters. Truly remote wilderness is a short drive away and be properly prepared when hiking the amazing trails and river access areas. If you want to see bears, head up river 10-20 miles to one of the river accesses before the sun hits the water. I saw two at Green Riffle and decided to leave instead of fly fishing for the Klamath's beautiful trout.

Elevated Escape

ChristopherRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had an amazing experience. The house was a big part of that. Very beautiful, peaceful and welcoming. The house was very well kept and cozy. The beds were very comfortable as well. The location made it great for our weekend ski trip. The wood stove produced the majority of the heat for the house so make sure you’re familiar with them. Also, pack some slippers because the floors are a bit cold during the winter months. Prime location for Moosesqwatch sightings too. Just kidding (or am I?)

Hawthorne - Modern Cabin at Cave Springs

ToddRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Cave Springs was an amazing place for our family! Our cabin was both cozy and spacious, providing the perfect balance of comfort and room to relax. Everything was thoughtfully set up, making it easy for us to settle in and enjoy our stay. We loved how well it suited our family’s needs, and the atmosphere made it truly feel like a home away from home. We can’t wait to come back again soon and make more wonderful memories! Highly recommend!

River Run, Near Mossbra Falls & River access.

JenRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Very cute and cozy.. shower is very small, but we didn't need much more for 2 days. The kids loved the bunk beds. And we love the wood burning fireplace. The dining room is a little small. And it was hard for all of us to sit at the table together but other than that, the train did not bother us at all. Everything was super easy and we will definitely be back.

Shasta View Lodge | Cabin 8

DavidRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This lodge is in one of the most beautiful settings in nature. I arrived on a sunny day and drove beside epic miles of ranch land from the old days, up into the local hills and done to McCloud Lake and back. I left a week later in a snow storm, which was exciting and required snow chains. First snow I'd seen falling since the 1960s in Michigan! It's a great place for day trips and bike rides, and the town of Mt. Shasta has everything you need, with particularly good restaurants, organic grocery store that's stocked 2x as big as it's size with high end goods, plus several outdoors shops, just 10 miles away. There's an excellent general store across the street in McCloud too, though, and some local restaurants, and a good wilderness shop. A special place. One problem? The duvet was prone to make static electricity, so I slept without it, doubled over the cotton blanket and turned the heater up. Toasty warm. A memorable visit to the Shasta wilderness at 3200'. Great neighbors.
