Family-friendly vacation rentals in Simpson Bay

This is our 2nd time staying at the Cliff and it was everything we remembered and more. the grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Someone is always cleaning or doing some sort of maintenance to the property to keep it pristine! the pool renovation is beautiful and a fantastic spot to watch the sunsets. the beach is easily accessible and virtually private with very little interruptions other than some boats passing by. the pictures dont do this place justice. my husband made use of the spa amenities everyday with the sauna and steam room, indoor pool, outdoor pool and beach -he essentially had a hydrotherapy circuit routine every morning. this apartment itself is well maintained and was exactly as advertised. our favorite spot was on the balcony enjoying the perfect views of the ocean. We have so many spots on the island close by as far as restuarants and two grocery/markets. there are also many rest. in a close drive. when we come back to St Martin, i'm staying here again!

Staying at Joe’s place was by far the best decision for an airbnb in St. Maarten. Between a beautiful private beach off The Cliff, an awesome infinity pool, and wide patio with a view of- I couldve stayed there the whole time and been content with the trip. The near by restaurants, grocery stores and things to do less than a mile or so drive made everything so convenient. Will certainly be coming back!

Very was very attentive since the first minute that i booked the place , everything was perfect , place , accommodation, parking lot , supermarket (better price ever) , etc ,, i will repeat again ,, Thanks Vera !!!

Excellent Stay! Well-appointed studio provided my sister and I with everything we needed during our week stay, i.e., comfortable bed, fully stocked kitchen, powerful AC units, fishing gear, beach chairs, and even umbrellas! It felt like home. What's best is that it is set right on Maho Beach and the entertainment strip. The balcony allowed us to view the planes coming in and control noise when we wanted to because the balcony doors are soundproof. The grounds are immaculate. The balcony overlooks a vast garden and the pool/jacuzzi area. Dale and Joy were also very communicative and quick to respond to our many inquiries regarding excursions. We rented a vehicle for the trip, which they were also intricate in helping with. This was a partial business trip. Dale and Joy set us up with the premier Realtor on the island, which was also a wonderful experience. I will stay here AGAIN and AGAIN!

Superb! Everything was perfect. Florence and Nicole were excellent hosts, easily reachable and an abundant source of information. Check-in was simple and in-person with a full explanation of how things work. The apartment was super clean with comfortable beds and all the necessary amenities. And the location is ideal, very quiet with an amazing view. Total relaxation. It is only a 5-10 minute drive to either coast and the beautiful beaches and fantastic restaurants. There is also a supermarket a 2-3 minute drive away. We did have one issue though, a leaky toilet which was fixed within hours of me notifying Florence. Now that’s service! All in all, it was an excellent stay. The hosts truly are accommodating and really strive to make your stay comfortable. Highly recommend.

As always, the penthouse is an incredible place to stay! We feel at home with all the great amenities and being right on the water is priceless. We can walk to so many places in Simpson Bay which makes it great to either walk or drive somewhere further.

We had a great 2 week stay. Veronique was an amazing host and was very helpful and kind. The accommodations were very peaceful and private. Easy walking distance to the beach and restaurants with everything you need close by. We highly recommend the accommodations and Veronique as a host. Will definitely be back soon!!

very good and quick response, host was great and great when arriving later t han expected. she had no problem to wait even after long passsed office hours. so wunderful appartmenet no cpomplaints whatsoever. the bath was even ahottub great after a day full of conferences great place

Denis, is hands down, the best host! When communicating, he responds right away. He is very friendly, informative, accommodating, and is the true definition of what it means to be hospitable. Having been in the hospitality industry for many years, it is very rare to find a host with as much passion and dedcation as Denis. Enjoy your stay, we certainly did.

Beautiful place with a beach house feel, great view from balcony. Clean and fully stocked with everything you need. Even had a pack n play set up and ready for our arrival. Walk across parking lot to beach- very nice! Pool was great also. Would recommend Princess Anouk to friends!

Damiens Apartment is situated in a former hotel, now residence area, so its very quiet. there is direct access to the beach, but while we were there there were a lot of algae, so walking till to the beach chairs and bars took about 15-20min walking on the beach. If you drive its about 10 min drive away to the main square of the beach with all the restaurants and the beach bars. directly at the grounds is a pizzeria which is great for your first day, when you dont havr the energy to go anywhere and still get food. Two other good restaurants are a 2-5 min by car and the supermarket is also just about 5 min away by car and no matter where you are going you always pass the supermarket, so its convenient that its on the way. Contact with Damien was good, he always replied fast. At the beginning we would have wished for a little bit better communication about the water cuts due to a break in the water facility on the french side, but after we asked he sent us to links to newspapers where we could look up the times ourselves. You definitely need a car and there was enough parking space on the grounds. overall we enjoyed our stay at Damiens apartment!

We were a family of 5 and truly enjoyed the villa . It was exactly as described and as per pics . Very clean , amazing view and we loved the outdoor space . The host was very responsive and we have no issues . We really liked how secure the place felt , being fully gated and having window shutters on the whole place which we closed at night or when we left the villa for long periods . Orient bay is a short 3 min drive where you can find many options of restaurants. Also, we loved exploring all the beaches st Martin has to offer which was anywhere between 5 min to max 30 min drive away. The location was excellent . We would really recommend this villa .

Kathy was absolutely splendid. The location is surprisingly convenient for just about everything including the airport. I have zero complaints and will stay there again in the future.

Our stay at Claude and Monique’s Airbnb in St. Maarten was extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. Claude and Monique went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and enjoyment, making this the best Airbnb experience we’ve ever had. The house was neat and tidy, with plenty of items to make our trip memorable. Monique prepared a delicious dinner on our first night, and Claude brought fresh croissants and pastries the next morning. A few days later, he cooked an amazing paella and set a beautiful table outside. They stocked the fridge with essentials for both adults and children, and the mini fridge by the pool was filled with cold drinks. Claude also helped us pick fresh coconuts and papayas, adding a unique, local flavor to our stay. The pool, ping pong table, and pool table provided endless entertainment. The house was clean, comfortable, and perfectly suited for our needs. Claude and Monique made our vacation unforgettable. They are the best!

You couldn’t ask for a better location. It’s steps away from some of the best beach bars in Orient Bay. The house has a lovely deck on the 2nd floor with great views of the water and hills. Very peaceful. And there were some very thoughtful welcome amenities provided at checkin. Overall a great stay.

This place is so great that we had to make a return trip. Just like the first time, John's place was excellent. The weather is definitely warm during the summer, so we were thankful for the A/C to keep things cool at night. The pool was great, and the house was stocked with more than enough beach/pool towels to last us all week with 4 people. It was also nice to be able to wash any wet/dirty laundry before packing it up for the return trip. Another wonderful vacation thanks to John's house, we'll definitely be back again (again)!

This is a truly special home and location. Nina and Kevin were amazing hosts. They were super responsive to our questions about the island and the home. The home is just lovely and we already miss it! Thank you for the amazing memories.

Peter’s place is absolutely amazing. The pictures online are great but when you first walk in and see the views, it stops you in your tracks. Beautiful sunsets everyday and you can watch the planes come in. We were close enough to walk to many restaurants and bars. I would highly recommend staying here.

Thierry’s house was perfect, clean, beautifully decorated, lovely outside space, we loved the little pool ….. it was just perfect, the photos don’t do it justice. Colette who met us was lovely too and very helpful We would return in a heartbeat!!
