Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Silicon Valley

I always choose to stay at Emrehans when I need a place near San Jose. Very beautiful, clean home/yard, great location. Emrehan communicates well and has been very accommodating to me. Very good price for the stay. Would recommend.

Kit's place is fantastic in terms of location, accommodation, and value! The host is friendly and was very quick to respond to any questions or needs. While we encountered an issue with the dishwasher during our stay, Kit worked to resolve it. I would highly recommend this place and look forward to coming back with my family.

My parents, husband, and I stayed here for a week to visit family, and it was a lovely place! This is a very comfortable house with most of what you need to cook (we wished for a few minor items, but we could still make most meals), very clean, comfortable beds, and safe/quiet location. The description is spot-on, and there were no surprises. Lili was responsive and very detailed in their responses. Highly recommended for a family visit in the area!

We booked Vladimir's place for a family getaway with our 2 older teen boys. We knew a hotel would not suit us for 4 nights due to lack of space and amenities. Vladimir's home was perfect! Plenty of space, clean, kitchen space, cozy beds, etc. Plenty of towels, bedding, cookware and happily a coffee pot AND Keurig. The neighborhood is very walkable with plenty of restaurants and little markets nearby. Close to the beach, gorgeous sunsets. Sunset area is safe, clean, and the teens enjoyed wandering and exploring on their own. Neighborhood parking is easy and plentiful, just mind the signs! The 2 streets on either side of the block it's on have larger parking spots so you're not as snug against someone's driveway if you have a larger vehicle. We would definitely stay again.

This is a cozy, sunny vintage apartment. Very clean, spotless linens, well-equipped kitchen, and a very attractive living room with lots of windows letting the sun shine in. Plenty of beds and lots of personal touches which make you feel as if you are staying at a friend’s home. Matthew met us at the door and showed us the ropes. He is a sweet guy. He always responded quickly to communication but otherwise respected our privacy. The neighborhood is the Castro with restaurants and bars and cute shops galore. Also small grocery stores and a larger Mollie Stone’s which is like a mini Whole Foods within short walking distance. Would definitely stay there again.

Came for a girls trip to the city and LOVED this spot. A little outside of the city but definitely worth it for a safe, comfortable, clean place to stay!

This is the second time we’ve stayed at Terri’s place. We spent 11 days here over the Christmas and New Year’s vacations, and we enjoyed every single day. The apartment is equipped with everything we need, and the street parking is convenient with always-available spaces. We especially love the stunning views, and we never felt bored, even when we stayed inside for the entire day.

I had an amazing experience at this Airbnb! The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described in the listing. The location was ideal, close to [highlight a nearby attraction or convenience], making it easy to explore and enjoy the area. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting San Francisco !

We had an extended stay at Laura's place while we moved from the UK to the US. The place is well located, within walking distance of the main Redwood City high street and shops, and the neighbourhood is quiet and friendly. The apartment itself was fit for our needs - it is a little dark in the daytimes as I think its east facing so doesn't get a lot of light, but that's no issue if you're out and about. We had some mechanical issues during the stay but Laura was very prompt at getting them resolved and bore with us kindly on the occasions when I'm sure it was user error. The place was tidy and we enjoyed the stay, and would recommend it to future visitors.

We had a family gathering ages 6 mos to 74 and it was wonderful. The home was a perfect space to share a family meal and enjoy the company. The hot tub was a treat! Location is great and walkable. Shea is a great host.

Great place to stay. Parking is awesome especially for San Francisco. Bed wasn't for me but other people in the comments seem to like it so that's a preference, but the location, space, host and parking is great.

What a gem! We had a wonderful time at Steve’s house. The house is beautiful, functional and well decorated. The kitchen had everything we needed plus more. The property itself was incredible - private and peaceful with many activities for kids (and adults). The house is also ideally located close to downtown Los Gatos. Quick and kind responses from our host. We will definitely try and stay here again.

Beautiful views! Our family enjoyed our stay and the main floor layout was perfect for our extended family's get together. The pool table, foosball table and games were loved by adults and kids alike. A few family members did get car sick on the way to the house though (not the fault of the house or host by any means), so just be aware that it is a windy road to get up there.

Grace was great. I showed up and she was just finished ironing my linens (!!) so she and I had a chat while she made my bed. The room is no frills, so set your expectations accordingly. But if you're looking for a reasonably priced stay in Palo Alto, look no further. I will definitely be back.
