We enjoyed it very much, the hosts are very nice and straightforward. The amenities were great, especially in the kitchen. We had plenty of room to cook and eat together... not so easy for 11. It would be nice if there might be a table tennis table or a trampoline in the garden. You can make beautiful hikes in the area. Unfortunately, we only had one weekend. We can definitely recommend this house.

We celebrated Christmas in this house with the family and it was great. Even the Christmas tree was set up in the house when we arrived It is a nice house with plenty of spacious rooms and plenty of sanitary facilities. We enjoyed both the house and the beautiful surroundings.

We found what we were looking for, a quiet place surrounded by nature. Although the atmosphere is modern, the place's wooden details make it feel much more welcoming, and the fireplace and its easily accessible poles, offered by Ingo, are a plus. We had rainy and haily days and took advantage of the home theater. However, the furniture is not comfortable except for the bed, which has a hard mattress. It suited us well and we rested wonderfully. There is a list of activities and restaurants that was good for us, although I made a quiche using the oven and it cooked easily. I cautiously brought my bowl of quiche because there wasn't one, but Ingo offer a lot of other options. The terrace with the views was wonderful. My dog ​​played a lot in the garden and we cleaned it every time we entered the house, just as we do in ours.

We felt super comfortable in the vacation home and garden and also enjoyed the walks through the Bacher Lay. The accommodation is very suitable for families with babies and small children, there was everything you need on site. Ludwig and Gerda are super nice, helpful hosts. We would have liked to have stayed longer than a week and will definitely be back.

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful house! The house was absolutely clean and well maintained. The kitchen was superbly equipped so we could easily prepare our meals. Also the bathroom was modern and comfortable, and the hot tub was a real luxury that made the stay even more enjoyable. The TV was also of good quality and provided a great way to relax. The only small downside was that there were no shutters. Otherwise it was a wonderful experience, and we would definitely recommend a stay!

"La perle rare" indeed!! A beautiful, very tastefully furnished apartment with everything a person needs (and more)! I immediately felt at home. Everything is super clean and pragmatic, "spotless" so to speak and warm. You can breathe, work and sleep wonderfully here. The location is quiet but not lonely and the proximity of an industrial area with shops of all kinds is valuable. For someone like me who doesn't like to cook, it was a plus that there is a great pizzeria within a 5-minute walk, where I became a regular guest. Joachim is a very enjoyable and responsive host who cares about the well-being of his guests. I will definitely be back soon and look forward to it. Cornelia

Overall, the stay was very nice! :) Silvia and Bernd gave many tips and were always responsive and very helpful. The place offers everything you need. The sauna allowed us to relax well and playing billiards on site was also a lot of fun. All in all great!

Annabelle has an excellent place and I would highly recommend it… first off Annabelle was flexible with our check in time and was very accommodating to us from the moment we arrived. The space itself is nice sized, clean and very comfortable. I loved the peaceful atmosphere, neighborhood and easy parking right in front of the building. Hoping to get a chance to stay there again in the near future.

There were two of us with our dog over New Year's. We had a wonderful week, with many walks, even snow, and in the apartment itself everything your heart desires. The kitchen is small, but that didn't stop us from cooking every night. Everything worked out well! And there is really nothing missing in the kitchen :) Everything is there! The bathtub is of course a great highlight after the hikes, and we immediately felt at home. The apartment is so beautifully decorated with fresh flowers and candles and a welcome basket with apples and apple juice. So great! We recommend this place without reservation - especially if you are looking for an Airbnb where dogs are also very (!!) welcome. Thank you, dear Saja, for the great time we had with you.

We had a wonderful stay in Battenburg! We thought the accommodation was much more pleasant than what the pictures show. Very comfortable beds, very spacious, well equipped kitchen, amazing view, sauna, jacuzzi. We enjoyed the area, and definitely recommend a trip to the deer park (10 min by car), a hike on the trail just outside the house, and the bakery 100 meters down the street. Thank you for your hospitality!

Together with a friend of mine and his dog rented this home. Everything was above expectations. Nice BBQ in the garden to prepare your own food apart from an extensive kitchen inside. Many beautiful hiking trails nearby. Isabel is a nice host and I would definitely recommend this home.

We were personally very sweet and warmly welcomed by Astrid and received an instruction on the commissioning of the sauna and oven. Astrid gave us many great instructions on where to find great sights in the surrounding area and how to reach good restaurants on foot. It was a very great and relaxing stay for us and we can more than recommend the whole package.

With our family (2 boys of 1.5 and 5 years) we enjoyed a week in the beautiful cottage of Sarah and her family. The garden and play area inside made us also come to celebrate holidays ourselves. The beautiful spring weather and 2 days of snow made for a nice first introduction to Winterberg, from both the hiking trails and the slopes. We will definitely come back to this area and maybe to this house. We received another nice tip from Sarah about a playground nearby where we haven't been yet, so it's for next time!

Super nice host and super nice house. Recommended for families who like to go hiking or want to spend time together in the garden. The center is close, but the mountain is very steep. It was great and we would go back to this house any time.

The perfect place to get away for a few days. Eva is a very relaxed hostess. Mostly invisible but always there when you need something. We didn't need anything because everything was there. On the farm there are horses, sheep, chickens and dogs. If you want, you can also chop your own wood. The environment is beautiful, the hilly landscape alternates between forest, meadow and small villages, there are countless well-signposted hiking trails.
