Family-friendly vacation rentals in Shorewood

We booked three nights to accommodate extended family coming from Chicago and Duluth to celebrate my son’s graduation from UMN. This place was perfect for us! There was plenty of room for everybody. The kitchen, open living room area, and deck worked really well for entertaining. We threw a BBQ get together for my son’s friends, a huge success in this great space. The place is very well stocked with everything we needed. We also heated up the sauna each morning to start the day! Emily was very responsive to our every need. Thank you!

This is our 2nd stay celebrating our family Christmas. Plenty of space and the basement is perfect for hanging out. The downstairs counter, fridge, pool table, and TV area worked great for watching Christmas movies and relaxing before we headed out to see Jim Brickman at the Pantages theater. Centrally located for easy access to sport and concert venues. Jill is responsive and has great restaurant recommendations. The property is as described and we had the best time! Thank you, Jill, for kicking off the Christmas season!

Stayed here with my sister and 2 other girlfriends for her birthday. It was so fun! Our favorite part? The hot tub literally steps outside the door. It was super cold the night we stayed so we were a bit hesitant to use the hot tub but we braved the weather and it was so worth it!

I brought my small church youth group to MN and stayed at her place. Beautiful place, cozy like home, perfect place for bonding. Her details for decor and everything that we might need are just superb, amazed me. The kitchen is pretty equipped with spices, seasonings, all the stuff that we need for a short stay. My husband loveees the coffee table area, different set of coffee machine and options. The place is very spacious, just like the photos, plenty of spaces outside and inside to have a cozy afternoon with long tables. Her game boards and books along with the other amenities keeping my youth entertained and bonding with each other. Sarah will go above and beyond to help us and to ensure we rest comfortably and accomodate what we need. Her home feels like home with aesthetic touch and design from entrance to living room, kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, and basement all covered. Thanks Sarah, I truly appreciate your hospitality and your heart to serve others.

Our stay was amazing and magical! Michael was the perfect host and the place was even better than the photos. Perfect getaway for couples! Will stay again.

Amy Jo was a wonderful host and we felt right at home! The home was spacious and clean, the bed was comfy, and my little one had a blast playing with the toys and watching the ducks on the pond. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

This was our third time staying at one of Micheal’s properties, and the second at this exact location. We love spending a weekend away here. The description is spot on and the check-in instructions are very detailed.

We loved Kristian and Joe’s place! It was absolutely amazing and the cutest little tiny home, which when checking in Joe informed us it was a converted office/ tiny home. You would never know, because it’s just so comfy and gives a cabin vibe! There’s lots of gear they provided that my partner and I got to use, specifically the canoe at sunset! Absolutely breathtaking and 10/10 would recommend and stay here again!

Great find for our group event. Secure entry, private baths for each room, great location, and gorgeous views made our stay perfect!

So peaceful and just what I needed to concentrate and get work done while exploring the city. I was also able to extend my stay by one night extremely quickly and with no issue. Laundry room was great.

Lovely duplex, hosts live on upper level and are quiet. Right on the Mississippi River and close to restaurants. House has a lot of character and gives a great blend of city and country feel. Would recommend!

This is a very wonderful place on the first floor of the home. ideally located next to a wonderful food co-op and lots of great restaurants. The interior is very homey with a large kitchen, and artwork. hung elegantly everywhere, and the bathroom has unique tilework and sink bowl. Josh is extremely accommodating and available and friendly. Highly recommend this place if you're in the Minneapolis area!

Very cute house with plenty of space. Everything was exceptionally clean and tidy. Being able to park off street in the garage was a huge plus. Very quiet and safe neighborhood. Host was very helpful and responsive.

Emily was very responsive and flexible. Her place is super cute and comfortable. There’s joy in every space. The instructions are posted in all the right places to avoid any frustrations like I’ve had at other places. I would highly recommend staying here!

I came into town to visit a good friend to celebrate our birthday’s together, and since it’s my first time in Minnesota I wanted a home away from home. We absolutely are grateful that Katie was open to hosting us. I look forward to visiting again and possibly staying here again. -Maria

We had our family Thanksgiving/Christmas celebration here. Everyone loved the hot tub, sauna, pool and pool toys. The pool area was very nice. Walking outside to the pool area was quite cold. The main area was pretty compact. Lots of beds. Only 2 restrooms, one off the kitchen/dinning area it was very small with a shower curtain for a door to the the laundry room that seemed dirty and smelled bad. Looked like it was not finished. The other restroom was in one of the bedrooms. "Living room area" was nice size, but could have used more comfortable furniture. nice selection of board games, the shelves were very dusty. I guess I would say that we expected a nicer place for the price that we paid. Our host was very nice, and answered our questions very quickly.

Great location near trails, Cedar Lake and Theodore Wirth Park! Grace was very responsive with lots of helpful information! Easy in and out; it had everything we needed; Appreciated the large selection of coffee pods for the Keurig in the morning!

We had a great weekend staying at Eric’s listing! All the amenities were top notch and the home was very clean and nicely decorated. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend this listing to our friends and family!
