Vacation rentals in Shōdo Island

I stayed as a family trip. I made a reservation to give my children who are busy every day in Tokyo and give them the opportunity to give them a real-world experience to feel grateful for the lives of Japanese predecessors. It was precious to experience the difficulty of dividing firewood, making fire, and warming up. Thank you so much for a lifetime experience. The child said, "There is no obvious convenience or warmth." "Next time, I want to go again because I want to do it a little better!"I also mentioned that. Next, I want to go see a different view of the mountains during the warmer months. I was also impressed by the cleanliness and ease of stay in the accommodation. Very satisfied! 4 people stay.The room is equipped with a bed and table, microwave, and fridge.It was beautiful and very relaxing.Located in the shopping street, there were many famous restaurants within walking distance.There is also a day-use hot spring (hotel) 10 minutes walk away, and I also enjoyed the onsen.They warmed up the room before check-in, and I slept well.Thank you so much.

This stay was absolutely amazing!The host, Eeyan, was very kind, warmly answered my questions and was very polite.The room was also luxurious and very clean and we had an extraordinary experience.There was also a barrel sauna, and I was impressed by the great view of the sea and sunset.It was a very good memory to remember. Our stay at this traditional Japanese house in Teshima was absolutely magical! The space was serene and beautifully maintained. The host went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The breakfast was unforgettable—fresh eggs, sweet strawberries, and everything we needed to start the day with a smile. We loved strolling down to the village, soaking in the island’s charm. It was the perfect getaway, and we can’t wait to return! Thanks Alan for everything!!

It was the most comfortable place I have ever stayed. Most of all, I could feel the host's attention to detail. I really, really recommend it. The welcome sweets and coffee were so inspiring, there were so many towels, and there was a smart TV and heating, so I had a really good rest. This is the place I want to go again.

Everything about our experience at Batonworks was well managed, thought out and considered. Rumiko’s associate, Aoi, picked us up at the ferry, remote control blinds and shades raised and lowered just at the right time of day or night. (They were also easily adjusted and controlled depending on when we wanted to take in the views of the island). The beautifully designed house is conveniently between the two main ports of Naoshima making it easy to both walk or ride bikes to both sides of the island. If we walked it was 15 minutes, if we e-biked, it was 7. Rumiko provides the ebikes. In the entrance hallway/ atrium there is a modern library with books on all things Naoshima and Teshima. There is a very efficient washer/dryer combo. Rumiko was the consummate host from start to finish. She was very responsive and helpful with all our questions and concerns--- I loved this place and hope to return again. Thank you! Andrew

The place was wonderfully clean and cozy, while the price was much reasonable compared to other hotels in the region. My partner and I were impressed by how hospitable the host was. I strongly recommend this place to every visitor.
