Vacation rentals in Shima

We had a magical stay at Jun’s place. The guesthouse was beautifully renovated by Jun himself, and everything was clean and neat. Jun offered many seasonal fishing activites: we visited his snapper farm, catched crabs from his fishing boat, and simply enjoyed the slow living in the small town and by the beach. Jun even showed us how to make sushi, as he has studied at a sushi school: All the way from the farming process, the slaughtering and how to cut the fish properly, as well as how to make the rice and other garnish. All in all a wonderful stay at a gem in the Japanese archipelago.

It was my fourth time using Kumano Kodo as a base for walking on the Kumano Kodo. I was able to refresh my mind and body in a location where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of Miyagawa.

We interrupted with our dog. They were kind to me, and I felt like I was back at home, so I couldn't relax during my stay. I asked for dinner, but it was a fish dish, which was really delicious and I was very satisfied. The breakfast service was also very delicious and the chopsticks were not stuck. It is also an inn that I would definitely like to visit. Thanks for your hospitality.

Great place to stay, clean and nice room and yard, kind owner, good surroundings, good for a family.

An immaculate location, and needing to track the bus schedule is the only down side. Buuuut driving down there and using the ample parking that’s available is an easy remedy and a huge recommend from me. Park near the local train station and you can get to Nagoya center within an Hour. Great great GREAT place to stay and relax after bustle of vacation stress.

Once in a lifetime visit to Ise.It was the best edge at the knee.I had to visit Oise once a year. Thank you again for everything.

I've been on a family trip for the first time in a long time. It was nostalgic, and the atmosphere of my grandmother's house was very calming. I was going to buy and eat ingredients at the fish, but it was close to the end of business, so I couldn't buy anything, and I had to buy and eat at a nearby convenience store. My grandmother was happy to be able to eat around the table like this. I met when I went for a walk with my dog, and the owner also spoke up brightly, petting my dog, and he was a nice person. I was worried about Nankai trough, but it was nice to be able to travel☺.

Our family of 2 adults + 2 young kids stayed at Matsusaka for 4 nights. We drove, and hence Matsusaka was a good middle spot to be at as we made nearby day trips to Ise, Oyatsu Town, Suzuka Circuit etc. It was a very new airbnb, and everything is nicely renovated and really nice and new! We loved the open concept of the house. Upon arrival, it was easy to park, check-in was fuss free and the house was clean. Also a special mention that the dryer is exceptionally powerful because even the thicker clothes come out totally dry! There are also cutleries for the kids, and a great wireless vacuum cleaner for easy cleaning of the kid's snacks. There was a yakiniku restaurant just next door and we went there for dinner. There are also various food places and convenience stores around. I would definitely recommend this airbnb, and would love to come back the next time I visit.
