We were not affected by the floods in Kentucky. So very thankful. Come visit us! New all in one washer dryer 4/2024. New year-round hot tub just added 2/2024. Stay at the Goose Branch Lake House & fish from your own dock only a few steps from the back porch. Catch catfish, largemouth bass, red eyes, blue gill etc. Canoe, 2 kayaks & 2 stand up paddle boards available to rent. Beautiful, private in the rolling hills of Kentucky. This is a refuge away from the touristy parts of Kentucky to rejuvenate if you like the outdoors and privacy. We didn't use the pool but appreciate that would be an option for next time! :) So much to appreciate about Kentucky and Annjenettes hospitable home and stay was a blessing!

What a lovely place!! We needed a little peace and quiet & that’s exactly what we got. Fishing was so much fun & much of the gear was provided. Amenities & necessities were spot on, and the house was super clean & so charming. The hot tub was the icing on the cake! Definitely going on our favorites list!

Sam was fantastic, helpful friendly and quick to respond. Helped my husband when he needed a tool for the vehicle. The house was fabulous with all the space needed for our family. Large yard which was perfect for our Easter egg hunt. The house had more amenities than any other such as supplies, dishes, and cookware. Lots of beach towels for the pool 🙂. We will definitely return. Thank you Sam for being a great host!

Over the weekend my (now) husband and I decided to get married on this property and it was nothing short of perfect for us. The cabin is beautiful and they spared no expense to make it comfortable & luxurious. You can really tell how much love & thought went into the cabin. I'm usually begging for my own bed after being away from home and not once did I miss my usual comforts. The grounds are GORGEOUS & represent the most beautiful parts of Kentucky countryside. There is a cow & about 50 chickens on site & all of our guests went to say hi at some point. The property is so quiet (besides the birds and the occasional crowing of a rooster) and it was easy to take a deep breath and sigh in relief. Susan & Berard are the SWEETEST & so accommodating. They provided us with 30 chairs, tablecloths, napkins, a delicious veggie tray & fruit bowl, and 18 farm fresh eggs (in this economy?!). They made sure we had everything we needed & our wedding weekend was perfect thanks to their generosity.
