Vacation rentals with a kayak in Shasta County

Room was spacious, clean, and comfortable with private entrance. One bathroom was close and easily accessible, with shower in a separate bathroom down the hall. Beautiful property with deer and turkey in the morning. Very responsive and respectful host. Enjoyed our stay!

Loved our time at this beautiful “retreat” that was so conveniently located. Grounds are beautiful, we enjoyed the pool and hot tub and fire pit. Oh and played corn hole. We had four young men with us and they really loved their stay. Christie communicated right away when I had questions and is a very gracious manager. Can’t say enough good things about this place! Hope to return some Day.

Loris, place is beyond amazing! I’ve stayed at plenty of Air B&B’s but this one stood out by far! From the prestine home to the beautifull outdoors and nature it is truely a breathtaking view and stay. The lake, the hot tub, nature, cleanliness, the kitches, the amenities , and everything in between make Lori’s place a true and unbelievable experience! Dont hesitate to book or reach out to Lori for she is responsive and has a great home!

This was an amazing family trip. The house is right on the lake and there were deer every morning. Lori was very helpful and had everything laid out for us.

We really enjoyed our stay here! They had everything we needed and more! We really appreciated the gear shed and all the fun stuff in there! The house itself was amazing, the views were terrific and we all kept saying, "Wow, this house really has everything!" Thanks for thinking of all the little details. We really appreciated it!

Michael’s place was a great place to stay for two weeks. The room was comfortable, the private bathroom was convenient, and the kitchen was well equipped. I worked remotely from the room, the internet was good and the chair was comfortable. The only small thing is that the chair and bed are pretty close to each other but it wasn’t really a problem. Michael is extremely nice and was an amazing host. The other Airbnb guest that were there were also nice and I mostly didn’t see them. The gem of this Airbnb is Blackberry the Bassett hound, one of the sweetest dogs I’ve ever met. I definitely recommend staying here if you need a place in Redding.

I have never been excited to write a review before but here it goes, this place was magnificent! A beautiful cabin setting overlooking the sacramento arm of lake Shasta with a private dock, kayaks and life vests to use free of charge, this place must be on some kind of energetic lay line because the vibe was so good! I would definitely come back, also I recommend this place to anyone looking for a getaway for sure!

Scott and Julie have such a wonder property with multiple cottages of all sizes of group, which they have painstakingly maintained for multiple years. Scott I hom I interfaced with multiple times since the time I initially booked my cottage in February of 2023 had been super nice and helpful in multiple times addressing our request to change our reservation as after 4 hops in calendar time across March, June, July we finally made it in September and as a last minute curve ball I asked him to swap us to a larger cottage a day before heading to Lakehead and he was more than happy to accommodate. The hospitality and care showcased by him and Julie was none above anyone I have ever stayed at AirBnB at. The cottage was a lovely 2 bedroom cabin overlooking a quite calm end of lake shasta and was nicely tugged at the back of the property. This place is awesome and gawking at the night sky and then enjoy the deer walk by the property in the early hours of the morning was breathtaking. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏😊

Great stay, amazing location, spotless, and cozy

The cabin was amazing. It was everything we needed for a quick trip getaway to the caverns. The location was perfect and the amenities were wonderful. The hosts were super friendly and even offered us a coupon for the caverns. There was a wedding that was going on and the hosts let us know the music would be going late. It was fun and the noise ended earlier then what the expected time was given. We had a wonderful time with our family of four and look forward to staying at the cabin again one day. Thank you for a lovely experience!

A well priced, peaceful cabin in the woods, just on the banks of the lake. Two decent sized bedrooms and a good shower room. Lots of extras provided in the kitchen which was very welcome. The host was very flexible when we had to turn up slightly later than initially expected. WiFi and signal here slightly patchy but overall a very good stay!

This cabin is so cute and cozy and the bed and soaking tub are amazing! This was the second time my husband and I stayed here and it was the perfect place to spend the night after a long day of driving. Julie was super responsive, accommodating and kind. Would love to spend longer than one night one day!

Our group had the best stay! The location was a huge perk, as we were able to easily access the lake and had a great view from the deck. The home was clean and the A/C worked great. Lori communicated consistently and was an overall great host. Would definitely return!
