This is, to put it mildly, the most unique and best air bnb I’ve ever stayed in. I’d have happily stayed there for weeks on end - it’s a beautiful location. Each morning we were greeted by friendly sheep in the living room window and at night had views of the most beautiful sunsets on the mountain ranges across from the house. There are trails on the property that are better than any you will find on the alltrails app (and with no other people to share it with). The host is great and even arranged a sitter for our young daughter so we could have a night out for my wife’s birthday. Truly a special place, don’t miss out on staying here.

John's place was larger than expected, with everything we needed for a five-night stay. He and his family were super helpful when our car broke down and when we needed help with an appliance. Beds were comfortable and we slept so well, enjoying the sunrise from the back rooms and mountain views from the massive garden.

The accommodation was clean, tidy, presentable and very comfortable, it came with all the necessities. Catherine was a lovely host and she welcomed us with her home made scones which were delicious. Catherine is very friendly and helpful. We loved her hospitality. The house is private and comes with a beautiful surroundings with beautiful animals all around. We will definitely revisit. Beautiful nicely decorated cozy chalet with a lot of amenities to keep you comfortable. Mary Anne and Peadar were lovely hosts who also made sure that we had a beautifully lit christmas tree and decorations for the festive season and made sure we stayed well stocked up with wood pellets for the stove fire to keep warm for the cold winter nights. Thank you for the perfect stay.

We had a lovely stay with Colette in one of her lodges recently. The place was cosy, warm and felt very homely. Colette came to meet us when we arrived as I had said our little boy was afraid of dogs. She even left us some of her own hens eggs which were delicious for breakfast the next morning. We would highly recommend staying here and look forward to going back.

What a wonderful house in an idyllic location nestled in the wilds of the Irish countryside. Our family of 5 felt right at home here with everything a modern family needs to eat, sleep and relax for the week, home from home. The view from the master bedroom looks out across the fields and you can see the estuary on the horizon, great for watching the sunset. The local beach of Ballybunion is a must and somewhere we visited on multiple occasions.
