I had a fantastic stay at this charming cottage! The setting was peaceful and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The highlight was definitely the hot tub—soaking under the stars was an unforgettable experience. The cottage itself was cozy, well-equipped, and spotless. The horses and chickens added to the feeling of a countryside retreat. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a tranquil getaway!

A 2 night stay for my 60th Birthday with close family, and we found this stunning accomodation that could take all 13 of us. Great facilities in a great location, and meeting the host on arrival we got all the admin sorted very quickly. Thanks to our hosts for providing the accomodation for a great weekend! JohnT

An absolute gem! We’re a bit fussy, but can honestly say this place was our favourite Airbnb ever. Charming village and surrounds and the cottage was exceptional. The little luxe touches (nice Champagne, for one thing) rounded out the perfection.

We had a wonderful time, there is so much to do and the cottage is lovely. We all remarked how big the place is because the pictures just did not do it justice. We'll definitely be coming back!!

Me and my girlfriend stayed here recently and we had a lovely relaxing stay. The cottage is set in a beautiful location with amazing views and lovely decor. The hot tub and the wood burner were lovely touches and made our stay very comfortable and cosy! It's situated in a great place if you're planning to explore the nearby towns and cities too. The house was very clean and had lots of room . We loved the hot tub and the BBQ. The house was on a small housing estate backing on to a field. Good for a girls catch up get away. The outdoor space and furniture was tired … but it is early in the season . Good value and well placed to visit York.

We had a lovely weekend break at primrose cottage! So clean and had everything we needed. The beach and restaurant recommendations from Sam were really helpful! Would definitely recommend this place.

Lovely cosy cottage: extremely efficient boiler under full guest control. All rooms a generous size, everything in good working order, broad range of kitchen gadgets, today & relaxing outdoor space at the back, all well-maintained. Really felt like home.

We had a lovely stay at Owl Cottage this weekend, while we were in Yorkshire for a friend’s wedding. The house was easy to find and well equipped and the host was very accommodating - thank you!

Lovely accommodation - cosy, comfortable and warm with everything you need. Great to come back to after a day exploring the North York Moors. Pickering is a lovely town. Jenny provided lots of very helpful information. We had a great time - highly recommend this property.

We had a really great trip. We didn't travel far for this trip but it was an excellent base for us to to explore and have a balanced break. Easily accessible, close to favourite spots like Bempton Cliffs. Easy to access local amenities whilst being in a quiet location where we could all switch off and relax. Very welcoming host, great property will full facilities and very comfortable. The two little dog parks on site were very handy with our two energetic Cockerpoos.

Pear Cottage was absolutely perfect. Spotlessly clean and well equipped, it was a beautiful cosy cottage with a gorgeous log burner to relax in front of before heading up to possibly the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in! We wanted for nothing, the hosts had really put a lot of thought into the needs of their guests, with tea, coffee, fresh milk and delicious cookies and even firelighters, kindling, logs and coal all provided for our stay. There was even shower gel, shampoo and conditioner provided along with some lovely Temple Spa treatments to try! Their instructions for parking and accessing the property were clear and easy to understand. We would definitely recommend staying at Pear Cottage and our only regret is that we couldn’t stay there longer!

The cottage was lovely and quiet, home from home with everything you needed. 10 to 15 mins walk to town going through the gardens on valley road. Lovely decor throughout and comfortable sofas and beds. Will definitely go back as felt so at home. Thank you so much Christina.

We enjoyed a a short, peaceful and enjoyable stay. The cottage offered everything we expected and the view from the patio was outstanding.

Absolutely spot on — hands down the best Airbnb we’ve stayed in to date. Everything was spotless, well thought out, and had everything we needed for a great stay. The host was sound, easy to communicate with, and made the whole process simple from start to finish. Ideal setup for a group of lads — loads of space, proper comfy beds, and a top location. Can’t fault it. Will 100% be booking again.

Lisa and Graham were exceptionally friendly from the start, but allowed us our privacy while we were there. Lovely touch having local biscuits and milk on arrival. Linen and towels in the bedrooms were lovely and fresh. The water is supplied from a local spring, and was delicious, and power from solar panels. The view from the kitchen/lounge was amazing - cute goats, sheep and donkeys just outside the door, and views over the hills to the sea. Watching the sunrise was lovely. The "Scratching Post" games room was fun, with fresh eggs and drinks available to buy and a pool table. Bring 50p coins! Really close to lots of walks - either straight from the door to Boggle Hole, or a short drive from Falling Foss with a beckside forest walk. Close enough to drive to Whitby for fish and chips, or Thorpe Stores in Fylingthorpe for a fresh bacon buttie from the friendly local shop. We'd love to come back and stay again.

We had a wonderful weekend at Emma’s place. The location is very picturesque. We loved walking along the stream & river. The location was peaceful with a secluded & secure garden. The house was spotless and spacious - perfect for our family of 5. We all slept very well in the comfy beds and the house had everything we needed when travelling with young children - from plates, cups, bath toys, books, stair gate and cot. 2 nights wasn’t long enough so I hope we’ll be back.

Lovely property, great for exploring beautiful Yorkshire. Victoria was an extremely proactive host, checking that we arrived safely and flexible on check in and check out. The cottage was very comfortable with excellent facilities, would highly recommend the property and the host.

We had a great stay at the cottage. All of the rooms are just like the photos. It was really clean and comfortable. The surrounding area is really well looked after. Just a short walk to the beach, then you can be in Filey in 40 minutes. It was really peaceful and the area offers a tennis court, swimming pool and other activities. Would definitely stay again.
