Steve was a great host. always happy to talk about his deer, he is clearly very passionate about what he does on the farm. The cottage was excellent, warm and spacious with a quirk. it has everything you need. Just perfect! the hot tub was amazing I could almost swim in it! and the view was magnificent! people always say this but we will def be back!

The images for this air bnb don’t do it justice, the home is beautiful and well looked after, and the hot tub/garden is peaceful and comfortable. We travelled here as 2x families with 4x adults and 2x children. There is one double bedroom downstairs, with a bathroom, and one double and one twin (two single beds) upstairs with another bathroom. We had one or two questions/small issues whilst staying in the Airbnb, these issues were only due to the weather being below freezing and this causing an issue with the hose, and subsequent use of the hot water/noise it made. When we asked the hosts they answered our questions immediately and came over within minutes. They could not have been more helpful. The hot water tank is in the twin bedroom, and it does make quite a loud hum when in use, which is just something to bear in mind when choosing rooms/using hot water. Michael and his co-hosts have decorated and laid out this home beautifully; we will definitely be returning!

We’ve just returned from a stay at Highbury Farm Cottage. The cottage was very cosy and we enjoyed the hot tub, especially on the clear nights to gaze at the stars. Clean and comfortable accommodation with a fully secured rear garden for any travelling with furry friends. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful residence, with lovely owners who were extremely helpful. Will definitely be looking at coming again, especially for the hot tub!

Lovely little cottage and perfect spot for train enthusiasts! Hot tub is an excellent addition and cottage location couldn’t be perfect in terms of short drive to places like Whitby etc if you want to venture further afield.

What a fantastic home for a weekend getaway. Gemma was very accommodating, with a bottle of champagne on arrival. The house guide gave fantastic recommendations for all trips, food & drink and more. For such an old building, the heated flooring works wonders. Clear instructions on how to use all appliances, including the hot tub. The house has everything you need and more, and is perfect for dogs. Can’t wait to return.

We travelled as a group of 4 ladies for a big birthday, the brief was (ideally!) a peaceful and cosy cottage with a log burner & hot tub. We’d hoped to find a place that would tick at least a couple of boxes but were amazed to find that Darla’s seemed to have them all. From the very 1st contact, the host, Carol was friendly & informative, she genuinely wanted to make our stay there perfect. We arrived to a (rather magical) snow covered Darla’s. It was spotless & so cosy with soft lighting, music and personalised gifts for our friend. Darla’s has everything you could ever think to need & Carol provided the best welcome pack any of us had ever seen. The cottage is a funky treasure trove of hidden surprises, it was thrilling to be there as an adult & can only imagine the joy that visiting would bring to a child. We loved chilling in the hot tub & the cosy nights by the fire. In short, if Darla’s is available for your chosen break, book it, beware though, it sets a very high bar to beat!

We had a lovely time at L’aal Cottage. Great use of the space, everything of high standard and fully equipped for an enjoyable stay. Jan was friendly and made us very welcome. Great spot for exploring the Yorkshire coast and a great walk along the beach to Filey.

Hilda Cottage is exactly as described. It was my fault that I didn't read the bit about the stairs, as they are narrow and steep. Fine for people, but my golden retriever was too scared to go from the lounge to the kitchen. This wasn't a problem as we could just walk around to the kitchen door. (Plus she was wet after being on the beach so we only used the kitchen for her after our initial arrival). It's brilliant to have the car park pass and it's less than 5 minutes walk from the car park. Jane couldn't have been kinder and was totally responsive to my request to arrive a little early. Would definitely book again Great food in The Bay Hotel and the sunrises are fantastic

What a beautifully cosy cottage, literally had absolute everything you could need. Super location and very peaceful. Immaculately clean and tidy. The perfect escape that was well needed. Thank you so much, amazing place.

James and Stacey couldn’t have been more helpful. Lots of great recommendations, messaged to check how we were getting on, really went above the expectations! Great hosts and a lovely house. Quiet area but with lots of cosy little pubs and restaurants to visit.

We were really impressed by Jenny's cottage. It was the perfect bolt hole for a cosy winter break, perfectly located on a quiet side road close to the town centre. What really stands out is the attention to detail and generosity, with everything that you could possibly need provided. The cottage is warm, comfortable and incredibly good value for money - much better than many of the other, more expensive places where we have previously stayed. Would highly reccomend!

Would definitely stay again Bramblewick was a cosy comfortable cottage,kitchen was well stocked with pans,pots,glasses a decent chopping board and utensils. Enjoyed a nice soak in the bath. Pretty little garden across the path down some steps

We had a really great trip. We didn't travel far for this trip but it was an excellent base for us to to explore and have a balanced break. Easily accessible, close to favourite spots like Bempton Cliffs. Easy to access local amenities whilst being in a quiet location where we could all switch off and relax. Very welcoming host, great property will full facilities and very comfortable. The two little dog parks on site were very handy with our two energetic Cockerpoos.

We had a great couple of nights in Lindsey's cottage. The downstairs bedroom and bathroom was great for anyone with mobility issues as the stairs are really steep. We had everything we needed. There's a lovely walk from the door through the fields to the beach (about 15 mins) or you can walk down the road through the holiday park to the beach (about 10 mins). The pub next door was handy and there is a games room that the kids enjoyed. There are no shops within walking distance apart from a farm on the way in which has a vending machine where you can buy meat, milk and eggs so bring supplies with you. Easy 10 minute drive into Bridlington. Very dog friendly with nice garden.

We booked Charlotte Cottage as it allowed us to take our dog Milo a recent addition to our family. The cottage was amazing with some beautiful views across the grounds of Langton Hall and Milo absolutely loved it, taking advantage of being off lead and getting plenty of exercise. We didn't get the chance to utilise all of the facilities including the badminton court, tennis court, bar and snooker room and gym, and the outdoor swimming pool (which wasn't open as it was pre-season), as the cottage was that cosy we just didn't want to leave it. We did venture out on the Saturday and went to Malton which is literally a 10 minute drive away and easy to find. We have told all our family about Langton Hall and we are already trying to organise another visit with some of the nieces and nephews and their fur babies too. Thank you Ellie for being a super host and we will see you again very soon.

Just returned from a stay at the park cottages hosted by the lovely Emma, wow! What can I say the most idyllic and beautiful home in perfect surroundings. The children loved every second especially playing in the stream, exploring walks, the swing bridge and the horses was a great added bonus to wake up to in the mornings! Smiles all around either outdoors or cosy inside playing and relaxing. Would love to return again in the summer! Emma was a fantastic host made us feel very welcome and kept in touch frequently. The cottage had a real attention to detail that simply top it off. Stunning!! Exceeded all expectations. Thanks again Emma. Jess & family❤️

The location is very peaceful and the Stables is part of a very impressive complex of farm buildings. The cottage facilities are very good particularly the shower. The kitchen however could benefit from an extractor fan. The local pub the New Inn is a real find and is the brewery tap to the village brewery. However you will need to be fit to walk it as it lies up a long steep hill. Overall a very good venue.

It was a lovely well equipped cosy cottage. We were very comfortable. Judith was very friendly and responded very quickly to our queries. We'd definitely come again if we're in the area.

Rockpiol cottage was absolutely beautiful- in the most gorgeous area and was so peaceful. This was for work purposes but I would definitely go back with my family! Victoria was amazing and checked in on us throughout and made sure we were comfortable and settled. The home had all the little touches that made it so special! Thank you so much x

Wonderful cottage with everything you could want. Jenny’s comms were first rate, responsive and informative. There is an excellent online welcome pack and the place absolutely lived up to it. Can’t recommend Bumbletree cottage or Jenny highly enough.

This was the first time here, it was absolutely amazing complete home from home even for our little ones too. Ann and Trev most definitely are superb hosts. Thankyou for the children's gifts too. spotlessly clean, plenty of toys for the children, equipment for everyone. Beautiful little cottage in the countryside. An easy 5 mins drive into Scalby village & 15 mins from the beach! The property was exactly as described & pristine clean. I would not hesitate to stay here again & highly recommend! Thank You for a pleasant stay.
