Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Sewanee

The place was exactly as advertised and all went smoothly. We would be happy to stay there again.

Sallie’s place was perfect for me as a single traveler. I was in town for a wedding over the weekend. I was looking for a place a little bit away from town and the capability to cook my own food. Sallie’s place met all my needs and was worth the value. I would recommend staying here to anyone else!

Went back to my home town for the Holidays. Right on the Winchester Square next to all the events. Even includes its own game room for the kids or those like I and my guest who were kids here in the 70s and 80s!!!

We loved Joy’s place. It was immaculately clean and comfortable. Very quiet and peaceful area, and only about 30 minutes to Chattanooga. Joy was the most responsive, sweetest host we have ever had on Airbnb. We would highly recommend and we will definitely stay there again when in the area.

A wonderful apartment with a spacious living area, good sized bathroom and kitchen, and comfortable bed. The stairs are steep up to the unit, but they're sturdy. Wonderful location for accessing Sewanee hikes. It's probably the nicest Airbnb in this price range I've ever stayed at. Highly recommend.

Walk in to this new and clean place and you are showered with treats and eats! The host really goes overboard to please her guests. Wonderful experience!

While we didn't met Rachel we were greeted by Tom, the manager, and he was friendly and easy to get along with. During our stay we made a couple of requests and they were handled immediately. The building is old & quirky and a work in progress but the rooms are beautifully furnished and have all the creature comforts ( we got a tour !). Rachel and Tom are community minded and are working towards making Franklin House a vital part of the Cowan community. If you love small town adventures this is the perfect place to go ! We had a great time !

Great place

Great spot! Perfect accommodations for a stay while we were in town for an event. Those unfamiliar with Appalachian roads be warned- many switchbacks on the way up to this truly mountaintop retreat! Well worth it. Private, quiet, clean.

We stayed at Gary's place over Thanksgiving and had a wonderful holiday. The home was lovely and is located about five minutes away from South Cumberland State Park, which features some beautiful hiking trails. There was ample space and our kids loved the arcades and air hockey table.

Me and some friends stayed at Ginger’s place while in town for our Sewanee reunion and we had a great time. She was very responsive and kind. On top of that she shared some snacks and a fresh loaf of sourdough! I’ll definitely check to stay with her again next time I head down that way.

Jordan was awesome and it was perfect to be within walking distance of the caverns!

Our first time to use Air BNB, and wasn’t sure what to expect as a newbie. It was a wonderful experience. Very nice home, all amenities as described. Beds were clean and comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped and roomy. Plenty of games and activities for the little ones. Outdoors the area was beautiful, and the golf cart was handy for adventuring and getting around the neighborhood. Trees were turning, very colorful, and we saw lots of deer. We were there in off season, so the marina/pool areas were shut down, so can’t speak to them. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

I had an incredible stay at this beautiful house on the bluff! The view was simply breathtaking, especially at sunset, when the entire horizon turned into a spectacular display of colors. The kitchen was fantastic—spacious and fully stocked with everything we needed. Cooking here was a joy, with plenty of counter space and high-quality appliances. It truly felt like a home away from home, with every detail thoughtfully designed for comfort. One of my favorite parts was the cozy sunroom, where I enjoyed my morning coffee while listening to the birds. The natural light and peaceful atmosphere were the perfect start to each day. Plus, being so close to Chattanooga and Cloudland Canyon State Park was a huge bonus! We could easily explore the city and enjoy all the attractions, dining, and shopping it has to offer before retreating to the serenity of the bluff.

Peaceful location, useful information for anything we needed during our stay and great communication throughout!
