The Host - Musa has been very awesome throughout my stay and he communicated well before and during my stay to ensure that I have a great experience at the property. My room was unexpectedly upgraded from one-bedroom to two and that was so generous of him. The place was super clean and so comfortable. The facility is few mins walk to the beach and less than 5 mins drive to the Senegambia area - an amazing strip lined up with restaurants, resorts, lounges etc. I will definitely book this place again and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a short-term rental in The Gambia.

The Balcony is really great and has a great view of the neighborhood. Nice neighborhood with all the shops nearby (hairdresser, gym, restaurant) and Senegambia 5 minutes by taxi. The hosts as well as the staff of the building are very professional and pleasant. They are friendly. I'll be back very soon, for sure.

Marc’s place is in a great location and well appointed. Marc communicates well. Although the power went off several times every day, it was not too disruptive.

The flat was super located and totally nice staff in a quiet building complex. The hostess (Antonia) was very helpful and caring. For all questions and wishes she was available in a very quick response time. Any time gladly again!

Abdoulie’s place was a peaceful, beautiful oasis after a few hectic weeks working. The apartment is decorated beautifully with a great ocean view. The apartment was cleaned regularly and he was very responsive if I needed anything. I would definitely stay here again!

Great place and great people. A decent trek to the main tourist drag but I think that's the idea. A local taxi should work out at no more than £0.30 just ask the guys how it works. Real friendly people too. Musa was a star

This was my first time in Gambia and to have stayed at Ahmed‘s place, It was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had in a new country. He made the experience very accommodating and comfortable, and I honestly feel like he went above and beyond to make sure that I felt right at home in his apartment and I am super appreciative of that. He was very responsive and answered all questions I had. His apartment is very cute and comfy and I loved it. The property where the apartment is located is amazing. Beautiful pool and beautiful scenery, you feel like you are on a tropical island. I recommend this listing 100% of you are visiting Gambia. It is close to just about everything. You can walk or take a taxi. Taxi stand a few steps from the entrance of the property so you won’t have to ever wait for a ride. Thank you Ahmed for an AMAZING stay! BEST HOST EVER!

Maimuna’s apartment in Barakah Estate is exactly as shown on the pictures. However, the pictures do not show how large the place really is. We loved the space and the veranda. Omar the security guy was very kind and helpful. He even went to the corner store to buy me sugar for my coffee. Very kind young man indeed. Lastly, the maid was kind and friendly. She was helpful as she offered to do my laundry and kept the apartment very clean. The only caveat would be that there is construction going on daily in the neighborhood so it can be noisy during the day time hours. All in all, this was a good stay and I would recommend Maimuna’s apartment for anyone coming to the Gambia for short term or long term stays. She made us feel at home.

We spent 12 nights at Miss B's and it truly felt like a home away from home. The apartment was very clean, and comfortable, with good Wi-Fi connection and several television entertainment options. Bianca communication surpassed my expectations, from the moment I made contact to the day I arrived. She was so personable and it was always evident that she wanted her guests to have the best experience possible at Miss B's. Thank you very much for everything Bianca. You are an Amazing host. I will definitely be adding Miss B's to my list of places to stay in Gambia.
