We absolutely loved our stay at the Garden Cottage! Anthony & Yr were incredible hosts, very quick to respond if we had questions, friendly and gave lots of great local recommendations. We really enjoyed meeting them. The cottage is beautiful and the little details really made a big difference. We especially loved the heated bathroom floors which were so nice with it being cold out during our stay. Highly recommend the garden cottage, we would stay again! :)

Lovely traditional house in great central location….comfortable, warm and well equipped….easy walking to town centre but quiet location. Our second visit and much enjoyed. Highly recommend.

Nice house in in good area, a lot of space and light. Many games and toys for kids! 10 min by walk to the bus terminal.

We were fortunate to book Thorunn’s place for our first night stay upon arriving in Iceland via Keflavík International Airport - we walked into a cozy, warm and inviting space, with plenty of room and amenities for our group of 4 adults. Thorunn’s place was full of thoughtful and modern touches for a comfortable and luxurious stay, and its close proximity to the International Airport, supermarkets, eateries and Blue Lagoon (all under 20 mins drive) provided an excellent base (with off-street parking) for us to begin our adventure. We fully recommend Thorunn’s place, and wish we could put down one more night to enjoy the jacuzzi.

I highly recommend Karen’s place! The house is incredibly spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is large, easy to use, and very well-equipped with all the necessary utensils. The home stays wonderfully warm, which is perfect for Icelandic weather. The location is also excellent—just a short walk to Hallgrímskirkja and Rainbow Street. Plus, having a private parking space, which is rare in Reykjavík, made everything so much more convenient. Considering all these features, the price is unbelievably reasonable. Karen is a perfect host. We arrived an hour early, and she graciously allowed us to check in early. When the dining table light wasn’t working, she addressed the issue promptly and efficiently. Our two-night stay was incredibly comfortable, and I highly recommend Karen’s place to anyone visiting Reykjavík!

Drífa is a great host who communicated clearly with details. She offers hand quickly whenever we had questions. The house is in a nice location and decorated super artisticsly. We felt like in a modern gallery and wish we could stay longer. Thanks Drífa for everything!

the house isn't just an Airbnb, its home. We were 4 adults and 4 kids and the home was big enough for all of us. loved the place, and Jenny was very helpful and she quickly responded to all my questions. would definitely recommend.

A home from home! This stunning apartment was stylish, cosy and spacious. It has everything you need for a break in Iceland! Around 20 minutes walk to city centre and 2 minutes drive from the motorway to explore. A very comfortable stay in a quiet neighbourhood. Can’t recommend this place enough. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

A beautiful apartment that looks just like the photos! Comfy beds, spacious living room, well-stocked and modern kitchen. And super close to the downtown, many parks, and coastline. We really enjoyed our stay here!

This flat is very comfortable (the Icelandic know how to insulate and keep warm - which we gratefully noted as we live in a draughty Victorian house!) and very well fitted and maintained. Pretty much perfect. Lloyd and Raggi were welcoming and helpful and had left a few treats in the fridge which was nice :) They left us to ourselves but were quickly responsive when we had a query. They live in the flat below and met us on arrival there which was helpful. The area is residential and quiet but very close to the central exciting bits of Reykjavik - just five mins walk. Five mins in the other direction you can get to the path around the coast and a black sand beach. So, perfect for us really as we were there for Airwaves. They told us of a local pool which we went to everyday - it was great. There's a local bakery and cafe near the pool, but there's all the stuff in town in the other direction too. Easy access to airport - use Flybus stop 1 at City Hall Much recommended.

We had a great stay at Hlynur’s place. It was close to the airport and the Blue Lagoon. My family and I would definitely stay again!

We had a fantastic stay at Maria's apartment! It's conveniently located near the airport, making it perfect for travelers in transit. The apartment was spotless, very hygienic, and had all the amenities we needed. We felt so comfortable-just like being at home. The shower was excellent, and we loved the spacious bathtub! My mother and I truly enjoyed our time here. I highly recommend this property to anyone needing a cozy and convenient stay near the airport.

A wonderful apartment with a nice urban/industrial vibe. The location could not be better and was really quiet. Honduran was a great host with many suggestions and always with a quick response to any question.

This place is located near Costco gasoline and grocery stores, which was nice because I went on several road trips to explore. You do have to be respectful of the hosts personal belongings, but we normally do not unpack our clothing, so it wasn’t a problem for us. The kitchen was mostly clean besides the oven and microwave. It had all the utensils needed to cook. The couch and TV set up was nice after a long day driving!

Fantastic experience! The space was charming, clean, and had everything we needed. Extra shoutout for having a flat iron that totally made my day after getting soaking wet under the rain! Would absolutely book again—highly recommend!

There is a bus Station just outside the flat. You can also park in front of the house if you rent a car. And there is also hopp if you want to have an uber like app. Everything else is semi close. The appartment itself was very clean, has the nice view from the window. Nice fridge, coffee machine etc. everything like in the fotos. Very small problem when entering the flat first, since the key was not exactly where described, but easily findable.

Hurnd and Davio’s place had a modern Scandinavian flair and it came with a well equipped open kitchen which connects to a dining room where 6-8 people can dine comfortably. The living room is so cozy as well and there were unblocked view for sunrise and sunset everyday, we really enjoyed our time experiencing Icelandic nature and there are also some outdoor seatings to get some fresh air. There were the two of us staying this time and the main purpose was for work. As we had some free time we did make use of the #14 bus which is just 2 mins walk from the apartment and runs to the city center and big church. The grocery is also just 15 mins walk away. Hrund even left us a personal message and she ensured our stay was hassle free with explanation of how the trash is sorted. The toilet was really nicely designed too and you can always count on the geothermal water coming out from the tap for a nice hot shower. We would definitely stay with Hrund and Davio again in the future!

Thora was very responsive and clear with instructions. Her place is located in such a great location to a lot of bus stops. There is a small corner market up the street to get water and some quick foods. As well as great restaurants and shops all in walking distance. Great place with the harbour so close. Thank you Rosa for a fabulous 10 day stay in Akranes! This apartment is absolutely perfect for 1-2 people. It looks just like the photos, has everything you need and more, well furnished, very comfortable and a superb spot with great views!
