Gorgeous little cottage overlooking Nidderdale with amazing views, quiet and cosy. Good sized living area and dining table combined, small kitchen but everything you need to eat in unless you take advantage of the local pub which is a short walk away. Recently renovated with new bathroom, beds, decor and flooring (spring 2022). Outside upper level outside the cottage has a decking area per cottage with own seating to admire our view and the amazing sunsets or starry night skies.

Our lovely little cottage is about 200 years old. It's cosy and slap bang in the middle of some of the best scenery the UK has to offer. Excellent for walking, cycling or simply site seeing the beautiful Derbyshire Peak District National Park. Castleton is such a pretty little town with it's own castle, 7 watering holes (all dog friendly) fabulous restaurants and delightful cafes. We are situated between Bakewell and Buxton. Thompson's cottage is located in the garden of our family home, with parking in front of the village hall, (next door) The cottage is a cosy space with a modern feel, comprising of one main living area with a king size bed, seating for 2, a small but well equipped kitchen and a pull out table, a modern stylish bathroom with large shower. Sawley is quiet village, within the Nidderdale AONB, and is a great central location for exploring the area, on bike, foot or by car.

There is a shop/Post Office, and walking routes right outside the door. The village pub, The Highwayman, serves good pub grub.
