Very much enjoyed our stay. Excellent location. We were able to access numerous Iron Age and Bronze Age ruins. We met with Kate McDonald’s PhD who really helped us in that regard. Her contact info is in some of Willie’s brochures. Willie was very responsive and the place was roomy and spotless. Excellent choice for us.

Lovely, big, comfortable house in fabulous location with unbelievable view from the front windows across the sea to Skye. Nice outdoor seating/garden area to the front of the property which is completely dog secure. Had a wonderful time exploring the area and going to Skye. Very sad to leave and would return in a heartbeat. Thank you very much.

Diana’s place was perfect for our family holiday. The location is both tranquil and remote in the way we like but not far from interesting and beautiful places (Applecross, Torrodin, Plockton and Skye all less than an hour away). The house was comfy and looks right into loch Kishorn. It’s well equipped and there are great local amenities nearby in kishorn and loch carron. Milo (Diana’s partner) was a helpful and charming host and we would absolutely recommend this lovely house for a highland holiday.

This was the perfect Xmas getaway to escape all of the madness at home. We spent the week having dog walks on what felt like our own private beaches. The accommodation was well equipped and had extremely comfortable bedding. We also really appreciated the supply of fuel for the multi fuel stove. A warm, cosy and memorable week. Some lovely additional touches that were really appreciated. Hope to visit again.

A perfect 'croft' in an idyllic location. The accommodation was cosy, comfortable & spotless. Tony & Susan were great hosts; very helpful but not intrusive. We will never forget our stay. We doubt many other Airbnb hosts can offer seals swimming past the front window and the birth of a Highland calf - free of charge!

Wonderful location, right on a beautiful sandy beach. The cottage was really nice with everything we needed. It was a great base to explore Lewis and Harris. As someone who likes to watch birds, there was lots of activity in the area. There are sea eagles in the area, I saw them flying above the cottage 6 out of the 7 days we were there.

This cottage is in an amazing location. The views from the living room were outstanding at every time of day. The cottage is comfortable and well equipped with plenty of space to relax. Despite its remote location (which makes it so peaceful) there is plenty to do, with walks to wild places, boat trips and even a little bistro restaurant (Elgol Bistro) offering lovely food. We loved staying here.

Loved staying here! It’s steps away from Talisker distillery and an amazing restaurant (Old Inn). Highly recommend. Would just note that half of the king bed was a bit uncomfortable.

We had an incredible stay at this property! The view was absolutely stunning .perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. The house itself was spotless, and we felt immediately at home. The hostess was incredibly helpful and attentive, always available when we needed assistance. I Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful and welcoming retreat.

We stayed in George's Tin Sheds for only few days but we wish it would be longer. The place is really clean, feels new and taken care of. Its well equipped in terms of cooking appliances, and perfect for group cooking and just relaxing after long day of road tripping and hiking on Skye. Location is really nice - besides the amazing view from the living room, there is well equipped supermarket just few minutes away (by car). George was also super helpful host, ready to offer some useful tips about Skye Island and help with any problem.

If you’re visiting Plockton this is a great place to stay, right on the harbor and quiet but also just a few steps to the center of the village, restaurants and pub. Clean, nicely renovated, very comfortable and well-equipped. Looking forward to returning sometime.

Tansy’s communication was seemless from the start. Went out of her way to have a conversation and as us about our trip. The place was in the perfect spot. Amazing views and location. We went for a walk around the backmont he property and seen some wild deer which ended our trip perfectly. Would highly recommend the property, and location. Thank you so much Tansy. Carla and Hesus

well we'll what can I say about Sarah.. she is just a beautiful wonderful host inside and out. the place is so spacious very neat and clean.had everything what we needed. fridge and freezer full of food and the most important thing is we could use everything that was so kind of Sarah.she couldn't do enough for us. always checking if we were comfortable and needed anything. loved staying every minute of it. Will definitely come in summer again.just felt like home.thank you so much for everything Sarah. hope you have a wonderful time at NEW YEAR.all the best for 2025 !!

Our group was absolutely in love with Alan and Gill's place, just wow. I'd move in so quick haha. Loved the style, space, location, everything! It was easy to find and to check in. Stars at night and sunrises are so pretty. This was an amazing place for our group of four to be for exploring Skye. The message sent prior to our arrival had plenty of helpful hints and we were even welcomed with a bottle of proseco. I took pictures of the book spines for later reads as there seemed to be plenty of good books throughout the space. Definitely stay if you have the chance, glad this was the longest airbnb of our trip.

We had a fabulous Christmas at An Dòbhran. The croft was modern, warm, comfortable, spacious, immaculately clean, the kitchen very well equipped and perfect for 4 adults. Duncan and Shona had left a welcome package of bread, milk and eggs, also a box of chocolates under the tree as a present, very thoughtful. Great communication before hand, Duncan answering all my questions and providing information. I cannot recommend a stay here highly enough, beautiful location, hotel and pub a short walk away, easy access for The Isle of Skye and Eilean Donan. We have stayed around this location many times before, and were very sad to leave.

Absolutely loved staying at the Harbour House! Kitchen was well stocked, place was clean, and there’s even an entertainment room with table soccer and board games as well as books. Not only was the place comfortable and beautiful, our host, Fiona, is super helpful and friendly. This made the stay simply perfect! I highly recommend the Harbour House to anyone visiting Portree.

Phil was an excellent host and kept us informed of issues that popped up before our arrival and the house was clean and well stocked for us when we arrived. There's a gate out front that must be opened and closed to park in the driveway which is lined with rocks so mind your footing when getting in and out of the car. Even in the rainy weather this was not an inconvenience at all, the only difficulty getting in and out of the area is that the Waterloo street off the main road has a number of deep potholes so drive carefully. There is a separate washer and dryer in the cottage, the cycles take a bit long and the dryer needs to be used carefully so just don't count on multiple large loads of laundry. Overall the house feels welcoming and lived in, the kids loved the bunk beds and books, and the maps on the walls were also nice to refer to. The location is conveniently near Broadford and the restaurants and co-ops there in case you need anything. Would recommend for a family

This accommodation is beyond anything I have ever experienced. Enjoy your time on your private island, with a lighthouse still operating. You have all the amenities you could ever wish for and whilst exploring the beautiful surroundings, try to spot seals or otters in the water. The host and the skipper were both amiable and helpful, making our stay pleasant. My highest recommendation to all future guests - you will love this enchanting place!

Loved our stay at Quayside! The apartment was awesome we loved the homely atmosphere , it was lovely and cosy . The view of the harbour was amazing and was close to the town Center and restaurants . Definitely would love to stay again .

We had an incredible stay at Aline Lodge. The lodge is really beautiful - top marks for all the fires having firewood, firefighters, and matches all ready to go. The electric Aga means the kitchen is always warm, and the view is world class. We went fishing twice (caught 11 trout!), clay pigeon shooting, used the sauna, and played table tennis and billiards. The kids went out on the boat around the loch and saw sea eagles, golden eagles, seals and a porpoise. Robert the gamekeeper was great - really responsive and happy to help. Could not recommend this highly enough - we will be back!
