Accommodations in Searchmont

Marc's place was exactly as described and a great location, even in winter!! gorgeous sunrises from the back deck! Plenty of dishes and cutlery which was handy as it took us a while to find the dish washing tablets. I would recommend staying here in any season!!

Karen is a wonderful host who made our stay incredibly relaxing and welcoming. Incredible patience, communication, and kindness. We got stuck behind an accident on our way in and Karen even offered directions for alternate routes. The place was very cozy and even during cold winter days kept very warm by a wood furnace. I highly recommend eating meals at Karen's restaurant right next door. Heartwarming food with great hospitality and perfect atmosphere. Came for 2 days of snowboarding at Searchmont and would book the same place for sure the next time I make the trip.

We had an amazing weekend getaway as a family! The pull out couch was perfect for two little boys and the bed in the room was very comfortable! Even with the massive amounts of snow the beach was beautiful and there were so many rocks to check out. 3 minutes down the road was a beautiful lighthouse and a long stretch of beach for when the boys needed to run it out. Plenty of hiking trails around the area and just under an hour to the falls which we love! Stephanie was such a delight everytime I had any questions. She responded quickly to everything and I could just sense that she had such love for her space and loved to share it with others. I’ve never felt like a host was so genuine and I wasn’t just receiving automated messages. Lastly, delicious pizza spot 10 minutes down the road, we had pizza 2/3 nights we stayed here. This cabin was such a treat even in the off season.

We had a great stay at Alex’s! Comfortable and the kitchen had everything! Enjoyed xcountry skiing and snowshoeing just north of town.

Nice and quiet neighborhood!

I had never been in a bunker/tiny house before. I was amazed at how organized and workable a small space could be. This little bunker is one solid little home. It was well stocked and the twin beds in the loft were very comfortable. It is a loft tho so if you are over 4 foot don’t expect to stand up! Put the kids up there and take the pull out on the main floor! We enjoyed having breakfast on the private deck and was joined by a resident chipmunk who has definitely learned to use his ‘cuteness’ to begging! I had booked two days but called home on an emergency. We were bummed to leave Canada early but will be back!!

Terry greeted us upon arrival, home was clean and very cozy, had all the amenities needed for stay. We did need a gas tank for the grill Terry responded very quickly and provided this for us. Overall the stay was great couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay, I would definitely recommend staying here.

Arlen was a great host who was responsive and very friendly. He made sure we were well settled in on arrival. Little Betty Bluehad everything we needed for our holiday from the board games to beautiful, peaceful surroundings and good outdoor amenities. Definitely worth a visit

Dana and Rob were great hosts, my partner and I stayed for two nights in the Erie Cabin. The king bed was SOOO comfortable we got a great sleep both nights! The cabin was equipped as described and the shower house was very clean! We loved sitting out at the beach at night and enjoyed a hike to Batchawana Falls one of our days. McCauley’s down the road also had great fresh whitefish! The front three cabins were a bit close together and closer to the hosts home than we thought they’d be but overall, would stay again!
