Cottage vacation rentals in Seahouses

A second visit to this wonderful cottage and just what we needed. Peace and quiet, 3 great nights sleep in the very comfy bed, easy use of the hot-tub, some sunshine, all we needed to have a great time away from the usual daily grind. Massive thank you to Rach and Dave once again !

We enjoyed our stay for a 60th Birthday, peaceful surroundings and not far drive around the Newcastle Area. The whole family enjoyed our stay with a full house and will happily book again. Courtney was quick to reply to any questions or queries,Thank you very much.

Beautiful cosy cottage. . Marie and Steve paid wonderful attention to detail. The welcome hamper was a lovely surprise. Very helpful hosts and we had a wonderful relaxing weekend.

We have just returned from a relaxing break at Lyndsey’s place. The accommodation was beautiful, well designed and extremely clean. Bathrobes and plenty of towels were provided. The hot tub was very secluded and private and perfect to unwind after a day out and about. The isolated location means you do need to drive to go anywhere but that suited us. There is a well equipped kitchen, ideal for cooking a nice meal at the cottage. We would highly recommend Umpires View and would definitely return if we visit the area again.

We had such a beautiful and peaceful stay, the property and surroundings are just stunning it was such a relaxing stay. Especially enjoyed getting to know our hosts who were so friendly and accommodating they couldn’t do enough for us and were so kind and lovely to talk to. I’d definitely recommend staying here and make sure to go on the alpaca walk and talk as it is so fun and informative, you’ll learn so much about the animals. The passion this wonderful couple have for their animals is amazing, they know all of their names and there is over 400 alpacas as well as some donkeys and chickens and a gorgeous little cat too. You can see they’re all well loved and looked after. If you like the countryside, animals or just a peaceful break away from busy daily life this is definitely the place to go. The cottage is immaculate and so homely, I could have stayed another week! We will definitely be back thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts for being fantastic

Cozy little place, decorated beautifully and tastefully. Appreciate the speed of accepting our booking and being ready to go. Kids loved all the festive touches and the wood burning fireplace made it even more cozy.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Amble and felt right at home in Jon-Paul’s house. The house was spotless and the Christmas tree lights and heating were already on upon our arrival. Well very located with short walking distance to the harbour and shops.

Anna’s place is very special. A beautiful home which looks even better than the pictures. We didn’t want to leave. So comfortable, beautiful scenery and easy to get to all of the best places in Northumberland. The house is so spacious which is just lovely. Anna went above and beyond throughout.

The photos definitely do not do North Lodge justice! The location is idyllic, perfect if you want calm and tranquility yet within a short drive to the coast and nearby towns and villages. The decor and quality of the furnishings are to a very high standard. After long days walking and exploring, it was wonderful to come back to a wood burning stove, comfy sofas and beds and an exceptionally well equipped kitchen. Hanne is a great host sending clear check-in instructions and responding quickly to any messages. Flexibility around check in and check out times was offered. We ate at a couple of the places she recommended in the information pack and were not disappointed. A truly wonderful trip we hope to repeat soon.

Amazing from start to finish. Philippa is the perfect host - we stayed with our children and forgot our stroller 🙈 she kindly left us one to use during her stay. The cottage was lovely and clean, everything there you needed! Comfy bed and very spacious! Views were stunning - a real treat waking up to the Northumberland countryside.

Had an absolutely wonderful stay here in chilli November but we were lovely and warm courtesy of the glorious wood burner and cosy duvet. The property itself was perfectly clean and spacious and brilliantly located for both coast and inland adventures. Kate was an amazing hostess, getting back to us in no time at all if we had any queries and happy to share her local knowledge to help us find our way around. Our only regret is that we didn’t take our dog. The secure garden would have been perfect for him and the boot room area the perfect place for wiping off muddy paws before he settled in front of the fire.

Lovely house with plenty of space. Comfortable and well equipped house. Parking not a problem at all.

Lovely warm stay, gorgeous modern house, great location very near the beach and Needles Cafe (gorgeous glass fronted beach cafe with lush food), it was a 4 min walk, we had brunch and watched the storm on the sea - amazing, easy to access and good instructions. I would stay again.

We enjoyed a perfect stay in this cottage. It was spotless, tastefully appointed, and a perfect location for our hiking agenda along Hadrian’s Wall. I highly recommend this access.

Rupert is a really lovely, positive and friendly host along with his lovely wife. It felt like nothing would be too much trouble. The cottage was perfect for us; warm, cosy and romantic with a lovely view. Our dog Nellie 🐕 had a wonderful time too. She enjoyed watching all the birds in the lovely enclosed garden. We'd love to come back one day 😃.

Loved being in the countryside. Short walk to town. Fields, cows, wild geese, farmers plowing their fields. Comfortable home away from home

We had a lovely half term trip to Cullercoats. The cottage was absolutely perfect for us and our two kids (6 and 2) - warm, cozy and clean with everything we needed. An amazing location for travel by train /metro with easy access to both Tynemouth and Whitely Bay. We had delicious food, lots of fun on the beach and even managed a very cold swim! Michael and Anna were very helpful hosts, even providing trick or treating tips for halloween :)

This was our 2nd stay at the cottage, and we’re already thinking about staying again! We stayed at the cottage to celebrate a birthday and we really enjoyed our time here. Lovely cottage with great views. Very spacious, nice big kitchen looking out to the fields, lovely bedrooms and relaxing living room. Beautifully decorated as well. Couldn’t ask for more. Thank you for a brilliant stay!

This is a lovely cottage which has been restored with great care and attention to detail. The location is ideal for exploring the Scottish borders and Northumberland. Having 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms was a great advantage. The host was very responsive and provided us with really helpful information about the cottage and aspects of the local area. The Contented Vine restaurant in Kelso was perfect for our evening out.
