we had a great time. we loved the location and the fact it's secure & right on the beach! Quiet area, which we appreciated!

We had a great stay for a long weekend, over Easter, with our two young kids. Kathy was extremely communicative and provided easy instructions! We had no issues with check in. The place was extremely clean and had everything we needed. The beach was just a quick walk across the street. The pool was very loud, but the security guard was great about making sure people were quiet and out of the pool at 10pm. Overall a great value for a quick getaway. Lived up to all of my expectations! Thank you Kathy!

Stayed at this location before but not this condo. Owner responded quickly and had things already set up for us. We enjoyed the stay.

Stay was GREAT ! Me + 6 kids they absolutely loved it ! Close to the Ocean convient if you have toddlers . I like that location was off the main road so it was safe and secluded . Mary provided more than enough towels for my Full load . I will be returning soon . They also provided pool toys and a basketball and court for kids to play .. But most of ALL .. the Balcony in the bedroom and separate balcony for living room to watch the sunset was the BEST PART of my Stay !

Haley is a great host! She has been quick to respond to our questions and very accommodating. The house was well equipped, very comfortable, and the proximity to the beach was great! This is definitely on our list of "would do it again".

We had a great time at this nice beach side property. It was very clean, spacious and had great ocean views although it was not a beach front property. It felt very safe in the nights. The walk to the beach was short (just about 5 mins) and there is also a private access to the beach. We enjoyed the bbq grill. Overall, the stay was awesome and we wish we had stayed longer.

Great spot! Levi was very responsive and understanding. We will be back!

We had the best time with our large family celebrating Thanksgiving. It was the perfect place to unwind and rest and make memories. We played football and volleyball on the beach. We cooked with a fully stocked kitchen that has anything one would ever want plus some! We watched movies, took the ferry, had coffee and wine on the porch to start and close the day, respectively. We will absolutely go back! Loved this house and host!

5 stars all around! Our family occupied the entire house and it was perfect for us! Very clean and had everything we neededright there. Short distance to the beach too! Communication was great throughout our stay and Kristen was very friendly and accommodating whenever I had questions. Highly reccomend staying here. We will for sure be coming back!

Robert’s cottage has been an eye opener for us on unique historic homes in Houston TX. This has turned into one my favorite airbnb properties I’ve stayed. The bathtub was a great surprise and highly recommend you book with Robert! I’ll be back!

I was in a frantic crisis due to another host not wanting to refund me because my previous air bnb had no power, and Trish was so helpful. I was able to book this air bnb at the very last minute. The host was very responsive and very passionate about getting me and my friends into a place to sleep. The air bnb was very nice, clean, and spacious for a group of 14 people. I would definitely recommend this air bnb to anyone. It's amazing when you have great caring people in the world. I can't thank this host enough.

Our party of six loved this house. It was in an excellent location and there was nothing misleading from their advertisement of the home. The owners responded very quick to any of our inquiries! Would definitely visit this home again!

We stayed for a long weekend with our family of 8 from all over to celebrate Easter with our daughter and son-in-law who live a 2 minute walk from the house. Great location with easy access to restaurants and the trail. House was squeaky clean and everything worked. House was just like the photos. The only thing I will mention to future renters is that the tv systems are quite out of date. Very few channels and mirror imaging from your phone does not work. We finally figured out how to attach an HDMI cord from a computer to be able to watch You Tube TV (sports and news). Highly recommend staying at this lovely property in Houston Heights!

Brent was a great Host and the stay was great! Check in was set for 4pm but Brent allowed us to check in @12. Highly recommend staying at the palace. It was super nice! Also, a plus is that everything was about 25 mins!

As a frequent guest of Crystal Beach, this was as beautiful and wonderful and peaceful as expected! Very nice house and well furnished with all we needed. Very responsive host, small challenge with timing of housekeeping on arrival but Chad was a great communicator and made sure we were taken care of. Would stay again!

The house is gorgeous and it has the most amazing views. Sunrise from the master bedroom windows was the highlight of each morning. The owners were helpful and very responsive - we had one or two small issues at checkin that they handled immediately. We loved the closet of board games! The area is quiet and there is only one grocery store but it had everything we needed. We didn’t go to any local restaurants. A few things to consider: the listing says 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms. This is true but one bedroom and bathroom is in an apartment downstairs so it wouldn’t be good for kids. It is a longer walk than it appears to the beach. It was fine for me and the kids but would’ve been way too far for someone with mobility challenges. The kitchen wasn’t as stocked as I had hoped (no real glass wine glasses, only plastic, not a lot of silverware, short supply of spatulas etc). Finally, there were no amenities for the beach, no buckets or shovels, no beach towels, so pack your own.

Everything about this house was ideal! The house felt like home, had everything you needed to be able to just relax. The deck and view were mesmerizing and the beach was a quick walk. This was the most relaxing and peaceful place we have stayed. We will come here often, thank you for providing a place for a memorable vacation!

Our stay was beautiful. We loved being right on the beach. Listening to and watching the waves from house was exactly what we wanted. We walked the beach daily. Swimming was great. Sitting on the deck with our morning cup of coffee was the perfect way to start the day. It was an easy trip into Galveston on the ferry. We ate at great restaurants and enjoyed fresh seafood. Renee was very friendly and responsive. This was the perfect place for our relaxing trip.

The mermaid Manor was everything me and my family expected and more . Very peaceful private and spacious home. Loved the fact that the home was right behind the beach. The host was very responsive. Quick to reply back to any questions I had and making sure we enjoyed are stay . Perfect getaway for the entire family.

Great beach house! The view is amazing and right on the beach. We loved our stay there!

We enjoyed this properly so much. The location is perfect. You can’t get much closer to the beach. The home was beautiful and very clean. It has so many amenities. Tons of towel and beach towels, pillows and blankets. This home has 3 beautiful very spacious bathrooms. The upstairs master has a huge shower with double shower heads. The kitchen has everything that you would need to feel right at home. There was lots of outdoor seating on both decks. It was a wonderful place to enjoy our morning coffee and evening glass of wine while listing to the sound of the waves crashing. Katie was great to work with during our stay. We will definitely be recommending this house and looking forward to a return visit.
