Family-friendly vacation rentals in Scituate

This was a first family vacation since the kids were little. 6 adults in a very spacious home ! Could not have been better. The living room, dining room and completely modern kitchen [fully capable of any meal preparations] made for family fun and connections. The patio and fenced in yard was supurb - and the complete kitchen BBQ set-up, fire pit, fenced in yard all made for the perfect vacation. A small slice of paradise. Thank you to the Chambers family for letting us stay in your home. We were delighted and felt safe and secure in all things. This Airbnb is amazing. The property is so peaceful and it feels very private. The house itself is very comfortable. The beds are comfy, the kitchen is well stocked, and I love that there are blackout curtains. I loved spending my mornings on the back porch overlooking the water and watching the sunrise. I would definitely love to come back!

We had a wonderful stay! The house was great! Views were awesome from the top balcony! We wished the bushes and shrubs had been trimmed a little to have a better view from the main level but it was still a nice view from the one area there. House was quite roomy and had everything we needed in the kitchen. There are not tvs in the two spare rooms which would have been good after dinner for our teenagers while winding down after family time. The host is wonderful and communicated great. Overall we had a great family vacation and a good time. The house is nice. Would recommend!

Lori's place was fantastic, and she and her husband made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The house was amazing and very relaxing; it truly felt like home. I don't typically write reviews, but I had to because my family and I were truly amazed. We'll be recommending Lori's place to all our family and friends visiting the Cape. With Onset Beach just down the street and a short drive to the Cape, you don't have to go far to enjoy a beautiful beach.

We rented Veronika's home for a work related trip to Boston. The home was great, perfectly located for our needs. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Neeton. Hope to be back next year.

The Villa was amazing for my family of 6. We truly enjoyed our stay and created some really great memories. Nance was especially great and was always available to help. She has created a few binders with some great information to provide an insiders knowledge of your immediate surroundings but also the Cape as a whole. If you like to hike there is a great trail about 20 yards from the front door that leads you to Grey’s Beach and/or Bass Hole Boardwalk. We used the hot tub, which is brand new, just about every night to relax after a full day of Cape activities. What a wonderful place to spend a week and create lasting memories. Thanks Nance!

Alex was an excellent host, responding to my questions and even gave helpful suggestions regarding places to eat etc. Everything was as advertised and the place was very clean.

Bonnie’s place was the perfect weekend getaway! Nice, quiet locale, open backyard, right on the water. The hammock looks right out onto the lake, great spot to get some reading done or take your phone. I’m 6’2 and 220 pounds and didn’t feel worried about it. Bonnie was kind enough to give us some restaurant suggestions as well, which were delicious. Didn’t get the chance to use the hot tub, but access was easy. Only thing I’d say is there’s some HVAC sounds in the unit. Not something that bothers me, but if you’re a light sleeper, I could see it waking you up. It’s not so loud it’s distracting though. Warwick is at a nice in between spot in RI, so it’s easy to get to Providence or Newport, if you’re looking to explore, or Warwick Ave is just a few minutes drive away. Overall, had a great time, easy recommendation, and I hope I can come back sometime soon!!

Great location, very generous with snacks and various items to cook. However, parking I've learned is a nightmare in Boston. Got a spot on SpotHero very close 3 min walk - Titled "35 Dwight St. - Right Spot Only" in case that helps future guests.

Michelle was very responsive and great at communicating leading up to our stay. The house was easy to find, good neighborhood, perfectly clean and had everything we needed. Parking was included which was awesome. The T was easy to walk to so we could go downtown every day easily. The host recommendation for Lulu’s Allston was spot on, it was nearby and great. We felt right at home and had a wonderful stay and check out was also easy. Thank you Michelle for hosting a wonderful place!

We had a great time staying here whilst visiting Boston. The venue is well appointed. Good communication from the host. It is a short Uber trip or train ride to the centre of Boston. I recommend the venue for a holiday in Boston.

We stayed at 8 Lambert Street for nearly a month while visiting relatives in Medford. The house is cozy and well furnished. Did a lot of cooking in the kitchen, which had plenty of cooking equipment, the basics of salt, pepper, olive and vegetable oil, and even a set of seasonings. Because we were staying over Christmas, Beth had done some holiday decorating before we arrived, which was wonderful and made the house very cheery. She was a responsive host and kept us stocked with the basics like paper towels and toilet tissue. She even included a baby gift for our new grandson on one occasion. The house was great for our stay - the steam heat combined with the modern thermostat kept us warm and cozy, even on some very cold nights. It's an older house, yes, but full of charm and warmth. The neighborhood is quiet and there are lots of food choices nearby if you don't want to cook. Highly recommend Nappi's Restaurant (cash only) and Fioritaly Trattoria. Off street parking a plus.

This is an authentic Cambridge home that has been owned by the host's family for multiple generations. Kevin is accommodating, and he generously left some snacks and drinks in the full kitchen for us. Well-stocked kitchen was super convenient for eating breakfasts. Note: there are significant stairs to get into the unit. Once there it's quite spacious. And I love the operable bathroom window. :) Thanks for a lovely stay in a convenient, walkable neighborhood!

We loved staying at this lakeside cabin for thanksgiving with family. Beautiful sunsets, great location, charming house. Loved it!

Excellent location! Great stay for a family away from home! House was magnificent and modern. Beautiful upstairs with an open layout and a downstairs living room. Plenty of space to relax and enjoy each other’s company. Close to the Newton center to access the (T)rain so Boston is easily accessible. Great communication with Amir! He responded quickly with any questions I had! Would definitely come back for another family vacation!

Marla's vacation home was very lovely. We liked the pictures of her place, but once we arrived we realized that she had remodeled a number of rooms. Each room was updated, very clean and cozy. Marla has made sure that her place is stocked with all of the large and small conveniences that guests would want in a home away from home. The location and the surroundings are stunning, especially with the Fall foliage. One can tell that Marla takes great pride in her beautiful rental. -Mark & Susan G

Beautiful home. One of the best master suites I’ve stayed in. Great outside amenities and a really nice floorplan for large groups. We had a great trip and would stay here again.

We had a lovely stay as a mixed group of kids and adults in this quiet house with a great pool, outdoor space, and common areas. You can walk to the bike path easily from the house and the next door neighbors sell veggies and eggs. Makes it easy to get back and forth to the cape for activities without staying on the other side of the bridge!

We had a wonderful stay. Perfect place for families with children. So close to the beach with all the beach and home necessities you need while on vacation! Quaint town that was quiet but still has plenty of restaurants to visit. Overall, a great place!

Robertas’s property was incredible. It’s everything you need and more. From the back deck, to the pool/hot tub, and of course the beautiful dock on the river. She was very communicative throughout the process and was helpful in any question I had. I would recommend everybody to check this spot out, you won’t regret it

The host communicated well and was very thoughtful. The bed wasn't very comfortable and the heating unit was a bit tricky to figure out, but overall, we had a great stay.

The house was perfect for a wedding weekend for our family of 10, including 3 children. The house is spacious, private, and very well equipped. It has everything you might need, including a great selection of toys and books for children. The hosts were super-responsive, answering our questions immediately. After our first day we figured out it was easiest to turn around in the driveway rather than trying to back out onto the busy road. We were sad to leave.
