Sincere thanks for the wonderful time in the great old Otto house ! We felt completely comfortable . The house was ideal for the little Christmas holiday! It was also great that we could prepare the Christmas ducks in the old wood stove and even all the atmosphere in the house. We had super nice days in the house wonderfully located on the edge of the forest. Door open and you are right in nature. Beautiful view from the house. We didn't miss anything in the cottage, even towels and cosmetics were available. The owners were super friendly and the communication perfect. It was unforgettable days for us.

We visited for the second time this year. A perfect location for a weekend away from the stressful everyday life! Herbert and family were super helpful. The homemade schnapps and honey are also a highlight ;-)

A very nice house. Unfortunately, 1 bathroom is not available right now. The rooms are very nice, the kitchens big.

We've been there for the weekend Everything as described, a cozy house in a beautiful secluded location. It makes you feel right at home. The owners are very nice and available at any time if questions arise. A large kitchen-living room invites you to be together comfortably. The bedrooms are all large, mattresses are great, we slept wonderfully. Kitchen is equipped with everything you need, we didn't miss anything. Plenty of toys for children, also games for adults are sufficiently available. A clear recommendation from us!

We were in St. Engelmar with two adults and two infants. The apartment is clean, beautiful and yet child-friendly and in a top location with many leisure options in the immediate vicinity (indoor playground, playground, hiking trails, ski school, café, tourist info). Our children were particularly enthusiastic about the indoor swimming pool in the house. The Waldwipfelweg is also not far away. The house itself is very large with many families in the other apartments. Nevertheless it was quiet overall. We felt completely comfortable and will definitely come again:)

We stayed at the property for 3 days in August 2024. The apartment is optimal for 2 people and equipped with everything you need. The bathroom was very modern and clean. There were plenty of towels provided. The kitchenette even has an oven and a fridge with freezer, which was very pleasant at the tropical temperatures. The bedside tables have USB ports. The whole place makes a very loving and thoughtful impression. The information in the information folder was well prepared. Connecting to the wifi was extremely easy thanks to QR code. In the hallway there were all kinds of brochures to the tourist attractions in the area. There was also a current calendar of events. The best part was that thanks to the Aktivcard Bayerischer Wald, many of the attractions are already included. The outdoor area is also very nice. In summer there is a pool. There is also a small Kneipp pool and sauna available for rent.

Nothing to complain about here. Super swimming area really good. - especially inside. We had difficulties finding the correct house but that was our problem not the place. Nature around is very nice. Only thing to notice and remember is the Sundays many things are closed in Bayern like most supermarkets if not all. Another thing is that I noticed 4 different restaurants outside the city did not take any card but only cash even though I saw an electronic card machine at the facility. That was weird. Maybe something to consider when you prepare a trip. Bring cash or change venue ;) - we enjoyed it

We really enjoyed the time in this cottage! The house is lovingly and practically furnished at the same time. There is everything you need and also great things to discover. The garden is an absolute dream and versatile! The property itself is the last one on the field and therefore also interesting for dog owners. The hosts are very nice and attentive! We feel compelled to book this place again! :) Thank you!!

A very nice apartment, super located. There is a summer toboggan run, a whale peak path and numerous hiking trails nearby. If the weather is not so good, you can spend time in the swimming pool or in the sauna in the house. A restaurant with delicious food is also available nearby. The apartment itself is nicely spacious, clean, has a sufficiently large balcony and a rain shower. All in all we had a comfortable stay.

We were there as a family with two children and a dog, the host was very friendly, everything was clean and the restaurant next door was also delicious. In the area there were many opportunities to walk and a special recommendation is the wild garden near Furth in the forest.

We had a very enjoyable stay and felt very comfortable. It is immersed in nature and secluded from it all. Sauna is also a big plus. Thanks for a great place to stay

A very likeable community in which we felt right at home! Silvia gave us a very warm welcome. We were allowed to use the sauna and pet ponies, which was very nice. She also brought us forgotten luggage to Nuremberg after the stay, absolutely sweet! We really liked the apartment and is equipped with everything you need. In cold months, I only advise to bring slippers with you. The train connection is convenient and also takes you to starting points of various hikes nearby. You can also make nice laps from the start. It was a great stay!

it was the first time that we ever used wood fired stoves for heating, and Martin was kind enough to walk us through the entire process. he is very kind and had great taste in art. he is an inspiration to us all and we would love to visit him again.

We stayed here for two days and felt very comfortable. For four adults and one baby, the size of the apartment was ideal. There was even a crib provided. Everything was clean and there was everything you could ever need in the kitchen and bathroom. Very convenient: an Edeka and bakery are right outside the door. Downtown is not right around the corner, for us the location was still great because our relatives stayed in the neighborhood. Communication with the hosts was very friendly and straightforward, all in all really recommended!

We had a fantastic time at this beautiful Airbnb! The place was immaculately clean, cozily furnished and designed with so much love for detail that we felt at home from the first moment. The hosts were incredibly warm, helpful, and always available for questions or tips. The location was ideal – quiet yet central, and with lots of great excursions in the area. We were particularly impressed by the small personal touch, like the welcome with a small welcome. We can highly recommend this Airbnb and will be happy to come back on occasion.
