A beautiful and lovingly furnished apartment. Great location for many activities. The snack bar and drinks to buy were awesome. All around a beautiful holiday.

We had a wonderful extended weekend at Katja's place. The apartment is very spacious and lovingly furnished. From the kitchen you have a great view of the horse paddock. The communication was very pleasant and we always received quick responses. If you are looking for a relaxing stay in an idyllic region, this is a good place to stay - the accommodation is highly recommended and we will be happy to come back!

My grandparents loved their stay here! They felt comfortable from the beginning as the space was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. Christine was extremely friendly and helpful, and the check-in went smoothly. The location was perfect for them. They still rave about the beautiful days there and were completely satisfied. Thank you so much for the wonderful hospitality – they would love to come back anytime!

Daniel's apartment is in a fantastic location right on the Gera. It is loving and practical. Even though we didn't meet Daniel in person, we were very kindly welcomed by Verena and her son. Thank you, we will be happy to come back.

It was a feeling of coming home right away. The apartment was prepared with so much love and details that you can only feel right at home. The highlight for us was the small creek just below the balcony. It was very clean and super nicely made. You could just feel comfortable. Communication was totally good and fast. Issues were resolved within 2 messages. We thought it was great that we could also use the fireplace on the cold evenings and thus get a different kind of coziness into the apartment. We will be happy to come back.

We stayed in this great apartment for a month, but time flew by too fast! Stefan was very responsive, we also met his father and sister! This is a wonderful, helpful family When we come to Germany next year, we really want to come back to this place! The apartment is in a quiet place, 10 minutes to the nearest town called Coburg and another supermarket is near the house, within walking distance

A wonderful apartment designed very nice and with a lot of style by the owners. You can tell from the apartment that there is high expertise in the monument area with the hosts, as the detail was worked with love. The color selection of the walls, doors and ceilings. The furniture selection, i.e. in the bedroom, it is furniture in the 1960s, in other rooms other eras. Nothing is too much, just fitting. Even though the area offers very nice excursion destinations, you can also spend time in the apartment and in front of the house, as you have enough space to breathe and relax. Just perfect for us.

We had a wonderful stay! The place was very cozy and offered us exactly the peace and quiet we were looking for. We especially enjoyed the idyllic location - it was incredibly peaceful and we were able to really switch off. Our children were thrilled, because right next door there was a beautiful creek where they could play for hours. That was really perfect for us as a family. A special thank you goes to the hosts Helge and Conny. They were incredibly nice and welcomed us very warmly. We can recommend this place to anyone looking for a break in the middle of nature.

The country house is located in a small place. It was very quiet and the beautiful furnishings made you feel right at home. Beds are very comfortable and the large rain shower is definitely a highlight. We came with two cars and were able to park comfortably right outside the door in the yard. For day trips in the region, this accommodation is perfectly located between Aschaffenburg and Würzburg. For hiking, you can just walk out the door and immediately stand in the countryside. Katharina is a very nice host who was always available for us. Thank you for your hospitality!

A great little cottage by the creek surrounded by nature. We enjoyed it very much, everything is exactly as described and we enjoyed the time there very much and relaxed. You don't have a reception there (maybe quite well ;)), but with Wi-Fi you still have immediate accessibility if necessary. It really has everything you need and the decor is very thoughtful and tasteful. 5/5 stars in all areas!

A true gem. Fantastically beautiful cottage overlooking two donkeys and nature. Invites you to linger and switch off. The location is ideal for Start hikes into the countryside. Just the right thing for two days of me-time. Host was very nice by message and immediately helpful. Thank you for the stay that brought me a lot of sun in my heart. I'd love to come back ✨

We stayed with Toto over New Year's Eve. We were greeted with a bottle of sparkling wine in the fridge and a toto, who first drank a beer with us and showed us his apartment. It was super nice. Toto is likeable and a great host. Just in time at noon, Toto and his girlfriend then greeted us on the terrace for the new year and toasted with us. The next day we were also allowed to stay longer until check out....a blessing after the slightly longer night. Until next time :-) regards, Hannes and Eva

We enjoyed our 3-week stay at Christoph's cozy apartment near the river. The balcony is good for people watching and duck feeding day and night:) Christoph was always helpful and nice. Miss the apartment already!

This spacious place is located in a small, quiet area where you can enjoy your time peacefully. Monika was very nice and friendly.

It was a very nice weekend, with barbecues and campfire. There was nothing missing and I can only recommend the house to everyone. Peace and quiet and yet close to the city... perfect :)

Marion has created something unique here. The place has good vibes and is very individual. We loved it. The location on the horse's head in the middle of nature is phenomenal. A large garden invites you to be in the fresh air a lot and the children can let off steam here. I find it a little critical that you can tell that sometimes there are dogs in the accommodation. Not for allergy sufferers. A for and again is the loud creaking of the floorboards, which could be a challenge for noise-sensitive children and adults, but that of course gives the object its unique character at the same time. All in all but highly recommended!

All in all, we loved it. In the evening, sit by the fire and read by the fireplace. In the surroundings you are also quickly in the nature. From the apartment you can look at the garden and the rustling creek. Contact with Yvonne was great. To tall people: note that you have to retract your head more often. The ceiling height is - typical of an old house - sometimes low. ;-) The only small drawback. We didn't feel like cooking in the kitchen. But that was only due to small things (blunt knives, pan - which at least didn't work so well for our dish, ceiling slope). But maybe it was just because of the too good restaurants nearby. :-) The Waldschlösschen was a definite highlight. We will be happy to come back to Friedrichroda.

We spent a great week here as a family. The apartment is well located as a starting point for many family-friendly hikes/activities. Mara and her family are super nice and helpful. Absolutely recommended
