Vacation rentals with lake access in Schleswig-Holstein

We (a group of 10 people) had a really amazing stay at Günter and Michiko's place! The house is huge and full of many details and memories and can accommodate so many people. It is located in a quiet/private area, and has pretty much everything you need. Günter and Michiko are really nice people. They were very helpful and flexible, and helped make our stay even nicer !

Beautiful little cottage overlooking the Schlei. We had a very relaxing week. The area is quiet with lots of nature and invites you to run and cycle. The nearest beach on the Schlei is a 5 minute walk. Bathing is not so attractive there.

We had a very nice getaway with two small children with Mathias - and felt very comfortable! We especially liked the two bedrooms, which are well separated from each other, so that no child wakes the other;) Location is top and really only a few meters from the water. Mathias was always easy to reach, arrival and departure flexible in times - very friendly! We will be happy to come back!

The house on the Tede Warft is absolutely perfectly located away from everything on the dyke, here you are alone with rabbits and birds and can enjoy the complete peace and relaxation. The apartment is very comfortable and attractively equipped and both the apartment and the entire grounds are well maintained. Absolute recommendation for anyone who wants to be alone in nature.

We were 12 people, including 6 children from 2-9 years and felt very comfortable for 1 week. Especially for the children it was paradise with the heated pool and the great playground. Even in the rain, it is not boring for the kids, as there is a great playroom in the house. We would come back out. Best, Kerstin

Katja's house is a gem on the dyke, a home away from home. Everything so lovingly and beautifully decorated, my dog Ella and I had great 6 days with nice walks, peace and relaxation. We will be happy to come back.

We spent our family vacation here and had a wonderful time. Communication in advance was quick and hassle-free, and we got great tips for day trips locally. Thank you again for that and for the nice conversations! The house is very quiet and has everything you need. Everything was sparkling clean and tidy, the kitchen is super equipped for cooking. On the terrace you can eat wonderfully alfresco and at night you sit under a beautiful starry sky. The lake is within walking distance, here you can go swimming wonderfully. We felt very comfortable and would be happy to come back!

A very nice apartment in a very nice location.

A very nice reception from Birgit in her beautifully furnished apartment, which is located in a quiet side street with magnificent views of the large pretty garden. We were even allowed to take the canoe on the Schwentine. Beautiful! Birgit and Markus are very friendly, affectionate people who are happy to help you. We can only recommend the apartment and would love to come back.

Such a cute small apartment with everything you need. Great shower, comfortable bed, small kitchen, quiet environment, uncomplicated communication... tip top... will be happy to come back if the homesickness gets too big.

Our stay with Susanne and Jan was great. The apartment is central (walking 10 minutes to the old town island) and yet very quiet. Check-in was totally straightforward and we felt comfortable from the beginning. We will be happy to come back.

This apartment in Hamburg is really great! The location is excellent, central and with everything you need nearby. The balcony was a real highlight – perfect to end the evening relaxed. The apartment itself was very cozy and welcoming, you immediately feel comfortable. I want to highlight the great communication with John – super friendly, fast and straightforward. A small downside: I had to park my car a little further away, but that wasn't a big deal in the end. Overall a clear recommendation!

Heike and Schacki are great hosts, very welcoming, very friendly and extremely helpful. Their fantastic My2ndhome is on the outskirts of Barmstedt and has a large garden overlooking forest and meadows. The house itself provides all the comforts that a visitor could wish for. The spacious living room with kitchen is more than enough for 6 people. In the round conservatory (winter garden), it is wonderful to stay with a garden view. This place is a good starting point for day trips to surrounding cities such as Flensburg, Kiel or Friedrichstadt. Everything can be reached within an hour by car. You can even get to downtown Hamburg in half an hour. Friedrichstadt was added to our overcrowded travel plan by us on the recommendation of Schacki and it was worth it despite the drizzly weather. My2ndHome and its owners are highly recommend.

The cottage is super cozy. We felt like at home. The sharp knives were very special for a vacation home. That's rare 😊

This is an true gem. The house is old and quirky but absolutely lovely and cozy. The garden and water is stunning and the location couldn’t be more beautiful. Ragna is very proactive and responsive and I would absolutely stay here again.

This place is a true gem. The location at the lake is stunning as it gets the evening sun and the lake is perfect for SUP and swimming. We loved every second of our stay there!

We had a very nice holiday and felt right at home, beautiful surroundings, high light for our children (3 and 6 years) the toys and animals outside. Good communication and quick to respond to questions. Everything clean and nicely furnished. I'd love to come back :)

We had a great break on the North Sea and really appreciated the quaint/homely thatched roof cottage of Sinah & Boike. Two great young hosts, always open and committed to making our stay as great as possible. What really succeeded! Many thanks and all the best and great guests....

The wooden house was really an extremely cozy feel-good place! And communication with Bettina was also hassle-free and very pleasant. All good!!
