WOW - WHAT a gem. Casa Querencia was the HIGHLIGHT of our trip to Italy as a family of 4. Josie's place was not only reflective of the description and images but BETTER! The view of Lago di Bomba (swooon), the church bells, the views of the other towns and snow on the mountains. You could literally cozy up with wine and a book and never leave! Josie had everything we needed to dine in, while also SO MANY great recommendations for exploring - like Santa Maria, Lanciano, and Castello Roccascalegna. The town was super quiet given the winter month - but much as we expected, as we had JUST missed one of their holiday parties in the piazza. Casa Querencia would be PERFECT for someone wanting a relaxing, cozy, at-home feeling longer-term rental. We cannot wait to come back to stay - maybe for a few weeks next time :) Josie spares no details and was a PLEASURE to rent from. Thank you for making our experience such a joy!

Francesca is an incredible host who really cares about her guests having a good experience. She offered to pick us up at the train station up on arrival, which was a nice surprise. (It is a very straightforward and easy walk to her place though.) The airport lost my luggage and Frecesca was incredibly supportive as we navigated options for retrieving the bag. Her place was very clean and we appreciated the amenities, like extra towels, hairdryer and a washing machine. The location is wonderful- close to the sea, restaurants, and shops. The bicycle shop is just behind the building so renting our bikes was easy and convenient. (One thing of note is that while the apartment is smoke free the building is not. The neighboring tenants seem to smoke between 4-5:30 and around 10:00 pm each day. Just something to be aware of for those with allergies or other health concerns. We usually just went for a walk.)

Carlos, your place was magnificent and we were welcomed by you very kindly. the entire property at the same time exudes elegance and comfort and is wonderfully located. We were particularly pleased that the swimming pool was still operational so late in the year and gave us the feeling of summer again. What particularly touched us was the delicious bottle of red wine for reception in conjunction with the interesting conversations with you. After all, we were also allowed to buy some canisters of olive oil from you, which we are very much looking forward to enjoying. Wonderful house in silence, with nature. Manuela greeted us warmly and warmly. We were always available and our kids played friendly together. We were treated to delicious muffins and fruit from the garden, it was delicious and cute. Every morning we woke up with a beautiful view and felt happy. We will be happy to come back. Many thanks for our stay.

Fantastic, very peaceful place. Nine minutes walking distance to main city square for our daily cornetto and cappuccino. No stress parking as massive in front of building and love balcony in front and in back. Inside apartment is vast and spacious and impeccably clean!

In other words, how to be in the family. Lovely place, surrounded by olive trees and vineyards, with the sea just a few minutes by car. Apartment equipped with all comforts; Outside there is a nice relaxation area under a pepper tree. Graziella and Angelo are super hospitable and youthful, available for anything you need. Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back next year.
