I recently stayed at Chris’ property, and it was absolutely fantastic! The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described in the listing—if not better. It’s clear that a lot of thought and care has gone into making the space both comfortable and welcoming. Loved it.

Great place, very close to the base of Mount Buller. The layout is quite flexible for 1 or 2 families, with 2 bedrooms in the main part of the house and a separate hotel style room right next door. The house is nice and clean, and they don't mind if you bring a pet. If you're there in the warmer months, they have a pool and tennis court too. Will definitely return if we head back to Buller.

Beautiful historic home with luxury furnishings. The bedrooms and bathroom are out of this world. The toiletries were a real spoil, offering facial masks and moisturisers. The kitchen is a really a kitchenette which meant we chose to eat out. Its a short walk from Mansfields eateries so we were spoilt for choice. Whiling away the afternoon on the front verandah, was just lovely.

A minimalist kitchen features wooden shelves holding a watering can, a framed landscape painting, and various ceramics. A white SMEG refrigerator and a vintage coffee grinder can be seen on the countertop, alongside utensils and glassware that create an organized and inviting space.

What a lovely place Darlene has created. From the moment you walk in, you experience a cosy, inviting, warm hut, with a beautiful rustic style decor. The surrounding scenery is just beautiful, nothing around except the mountains, river, and fields, and you feel completely immersed in nature there. Every little detail around the house feels so thoughtful and attentive, from the warm lighting to the furniture to the little handwritten notes left around the house. The kitchen is equipped with brand new modern appliances like the stovetop and the coffee machine. The local goodies that were provided were lovely - the sourdough bread, the homemade chocolate cake which was divine, and we had all of the ingredients to cook a beautiful breakfast. Darlene is such an accommodating host, very easy to communicate with and quick to respond to any issues we had! Overall it was just such a relaxing and restful experience for us and it was all the little details that made it so special.

What a special place! The view is spectacular, make sure you sit out at night to see the stars (we were there in summer). Beautiful and secluded but close to great walks/ runs in Eildon National Park & pub/ cafes in Alexandra. The cabin has a lovely cosy vibe, our kids loved the board games and playing Quoits looking out over the lake and mountains. View from the main bedroom and sunrise was incredible. Narelle was super responsive and easy to communicate with - thanks Narelle for a great stay! We hope to be back ❤️

Abby and Joe were great hosts very easy to communicate and prompt. We had no issues and the house was amazing and catered for all 9 of us. We were also blessed to wake up to snow falling in Merrijig. Abby also helped with suggestions of hire places for snow gear and equipment. It was very close and convenient to Mt Buller for us to spend a full day out at the snow. Thanks Abby and Joe

Probably one of the best air bnb’s I have stayed in. The house is fantastic with great appliances, TV’s, showers etc and lovely bedrooms. Only complain is the master bed is a touch soft for my liking! The outside area is perfect and the pool so lovely. I could not fault this place. The pictures do not do it justice!! Thanks for having us, would love to come again.

Everything about the Airbnb was great! The only issue we had was the lack of ac unit in the second bedroom. Otherwise everything was great.

What a beautiful place to disconnect from the busyness of life and connect with nature. The cottage is fascinating-beautifully presented and felt cosy and welcoming. We saw lots of kangaroos, wallabies and rosellas which delighted the kids. Kate was a great host- very organised, responsive and the instructions were excellent so we found it stress free. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would love to come back again.

Damian and Jenny Just want to say thank you for having us and letting us enjoy your beautiful home, the country, the lake and your lovely and well maintained garden, my 84 yo Mum enjoyed walking around the lovely garden. A beach lounge chair with an umbrella would be perfect to enjoy the sun and the lake. Love the serenity and unobstructed view of the lake from the balcony and even inside the house. The fully equipped pantry and kitchen made feeding a large group of people easy and festive. The young and the old enjoyed the pool table so much! Hoping to be back again. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and Jenny. Cheers, Elma and company.
