Wonderful place to stay with family and friends for a new year’s vacation in the Bay Area. Beautiful views over the city and a private and peaceful location. Great host that was very accommodating while maintaining our privacy. A great experience and would definitely stay again.

This was my second time staying at Ac's Airbnb. It's clean, quiet and convenient. I strongly recommend this Airbnb for anyone looking for a nice place to stay in this area of Oakland.

Leslie's place was so perfect! I felt right at home as soon as I walked in. The home is drenched with natural light throughout the day, and the kitchen was so beautiful. They had everything we needed.

Neighborhood is quiet and clean. Home was nice, they had tvs in room, clean home and host communicated well.

Perfect place for a few of us who were doing a 5 day long commuting retreat at Spirit Rock. It was just a short drive away so we were able to come home for lunch, and enjoy the sunshine and views. We were also super comfortable cooking and resting in the evenings. The kitchen was super well stocked and equipped, and had everything we needed and more. It does seem to be an active home with clothes and books belonging to the owner, which I was a little surprised by at first, but didn't really impact us much, there was still enough space for us and for us to create our own memories in the beautiful house. Appreciated Hila's responsiveness!

It's a lovely place. I hope to have an opportunity to stay there again.

We recently stayed at this beautiful house in the redwood trees in Larkspur with our family, and it was an experience we’ll never forget. The location is absolutely perfect—though it feels wonderfully secluded, surrounded by nature, it’s surprisingly close to all the attractions we wanted to explore. It’s the best of both worlds: serene and peaceful, yet conveniently located. The house itself is a cozy, modern rustic dream. The design strikes the perfect balance between comfort and style, with warm wood details and large windows that really make you feel like you’re part of the forest. You can tell this home has soul and spirit, with every corner thoughtfully designed to make you feel welcome and relaxed. Overall, it was a perfect getaway for our family. The house provided the ideal space to connect, relax, and enjoy each other’s company, while also offering easy access to nearby attractions. We couldn’t have asked for a better spot to create lasting memories.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The home was peaceful and located in a quiet, friendly neighborhood with beautiful views. One of the biggest highlights was how welcoming they were to our pups. It made our stay even more enjoyable. Communication was excellent; they were always quick to respond to any questions we had. Overall, a fantastic experience, and we would definitely stay here again!

The Pacific was perfect for my daughter and me. The place had everything we needed, plus some nice pampering items in the bathroom. It would also be great for families with small children: a big backyard, games, safety precautions (ex. outlets had protective covers) and plenty of interior space. My only wish would have been to have a real oven. But it wasn’t truly necessary as there are lots of excellent restaurants nearby. You’ll find many suggestions and menus in the instruction binder. Shining and Devon were kind and very quick to respond. Good people. I’ll be back next time I’m in Alameda!

This was my first time to Stinson Beach and Jeff's wonderful place right on the beach exceeded all my expectations! Perfect location and just seconds away from the sand (and right at the point where dogs are allowed). Sunset views were stunning from the comfort of the space and super walkable to the quaint downtown for coffee or lunch. My dog and I had the best getaway weekend and Jeff could not have been a more gracious host.

Had a great stay, peaceful & comfortable like a home. This place has things needed for a nice getaway. Location is very good too since it is close to walking paths & hw 1. Thx to Petko to host us!

Izzy was a great host. She was incredibly responsive to any issues (all small and easily managed) that I had. She was very friendly and made me feel right at home. If I’m ever in the Oakland/SF area I would love to have Izzy as a host again.

Sheilah's place was about perfect, great location, walk to beach, Shoreline shopping center nearby. I was able to walk to the Bowling alley to play with my grandchild! Amazing value, beautifully decorated and a thoughtfully stocked kitchen and bathroom. Would definitely come back!

Very comfortable and cozy. It was very private and quiet. There was minimal noise. The place had everything you needed and was close by to restaurants, shops, and more. I recovered from a surgery and it was perfectly fine for me!

2nd time staying here! Great space with nice touches that are appreciated and it’s centrally located for Oakland and the East Bay. Will definitely come back next time I do Airbnb in Oakland

Our 2nd booking with this listing. It meets all expectations. Very clean. Anything needed for our stay was available. A well stocked kitchen was perfect for our meal preps. The super hosts have a generous welcome basket that was wonderful for our later arrival quick snacks. The hosts, Stanley and Virginia, are quick responders to any of our inquiries.

We had a wonderful stay at Anna and Alex’s place! The hosts were incredibly responsive, always quick to address any questions or needs. I really appreciated their calm and patient approach, especially when I was feeling unsure—he gave us the time and space we needed to make decisions, which was greatly appreciated. This was my first time traveling with my family visiting from South Korea, and their home made the trip so much better—it was clean, well-stocked, and extremely comfortable. The bed, pillows, and couch were all super cozy, and the location was terrific: just a 5-minute walk to a beautiful beach, 25 minutes to San Francisco, and 15 minutes to SFO. One unexpected highlight was the rice cooker, which wasn’t listed in the amenities but was such a great surprise! It was also convenient to have access to large laundromats downstairs . Both the heater and hot water worked perfectly, adding to the overall comfort of our stay. I would highly recommend this place. Thank you.

We loved staying at Gillian’s place. Beautiful unit with great appliances, fixtures and amenities. Well stocked kitchen and spacious living space. I liked the little office nook where I could work, and also the nice multi layered deck. We were within 10-15 of downtown mill valley and there were plenty of food options downtown and close by, including the charming lumber mill development. Very easy check in with clear instructions, great host and lovely place. We have family in Mill Valley and will look to book her place again in the future when we visit them!

Amy's apartment was wonderful, clean and in a great location. She was super helpful with check-in as well! We had a really nice stay.

Wow! What a view. Right away we had to pause and take in the amazing view of the coast. The pictures on Air B& B don't completely capture the location. We unpacked, poured a glass of wine and began relaxing. Just what we needed. The place comes with a cool tram to help shuttle your things up the hill to the front door. Being located just 15 minutes south of San Francisco, it was super convenient to visit the city and return to our little paradise in Pacifica. All in all, we enjoyed the visit and would highly recommend this location. Thanks for sharing your home Angel!

Kimberly's place was cozy, clean and comfortable. You were aware when the kids were active but it was not a bother, I was truly able to get some quality me time. I would go back for my special get-a-aways again! Thank you Kimberly.

This is a great place to stay! The location is fantastic. We walked everywhere from fishermans wharf to bay area restaurants and shops, there is a lot to do without needing a car. The condo was so comfortable and quiet, beds were super comfy! This condo had everything we could need and we felt right at home. Spectacular views from all windows and rooftop which is where we had our afternoon cocktail! David gave very clear instructions to access home and also tips on his favorite places and events that were going on while we were there. We hope to get back someday soon and we would highly recommend this condo .. thanks David for sharing your beautiful and special home with us!

Beautiful and stylish home in an adorable, safe neighborhood. The mid-mod furniture is amazing, fun space to spend time in. Creature comforts-wise, the kitchen is very modern, great wifi, cozy stove fireplace thing, good blinds for privacy. Only cons- poor shower pressure, no heat in the bathroom. But everything else was pretty perfect, and I thought worth it for the kindness of the hosts, the location, and the pretty space.

Joann's place was perfect for my mother-in-law! We live in the same community so my mother-in-law was able to walk to our unit easily and she loves the landscaping of our community so it was a treat for her to walk through it every day. On top of that, Joann's place was more updated and nicer than ours so she felt very pampered. :P My mother-in-law kept calling it the penthouse suite so it was a great success. If possible, we would book it for every one of her visits!
