Family-friendly vacation rentals in São Simão

Rita's place was the nicest Airbnb I have ever stayed in. We stayed with 8 adults & it was very comfortable for all. This place has everything you could need for your stay including a full kitchen with all equipment, several spacious double bedrooms with extremely comfortable beds, air conditioning in each room, there was a beautiful back garden area with a swimming pool, sun loungers and a long table for meals outside. We spent a lot of time enjoying the outdoor space. There was also a fantastic barbeque outside which we made use of and made lovely group dinners. The games room downstairs was an amazing touch and we had such fun using it. The location here was brilliant, it was about a 7 minute walk to the supermarket and lots of restaurants and the beach. Everything you need closeby! We would highly recommend booking this place in Ericeira if you are planning a trip there. Communication with the host was perfect, we will be back! João’s lovely home was perfect for us! The house itself was everything we had hoped it would be - absolutely lovely with plenty of room to relax alone or with the family. We took advantage of the tennis court, the sauna, and the pool. The master bedroom was also amazing with its sitting area and outside (furnished) veranda. Although it was in a quiet area, the house was close to two supermarkets as well as the fine restaurants of Sesimbra. I would highly recommend João’s home and would definitely stay again whenever we are in Sesimbra. Thank you, João!

This is my third time staying here. The flat is extremely convenient, being close to bus stops, a subway station, restaurants, cafes, and supermarkets. It is fully equipped with all the necessary furniture and appliances. Thanks to close communication with Jorge, I had a comfortable and worry-free stay this time too. I sincerely appreciate his support and hospitality. I would like to recommend this flat to everyone. I am looking forward to repeating my stay here in the near future.

This is the second time me and my family stayed at Paulo's place because we had an excellent stay the first time around. With young kids its good to know in advance that I'm going to stay at a great place, plenty of space for the the kids to play around and also unbeatable area with super market literally just below, plenty of restaurants and bars, and the beach a less than 10 minute walk. Since I go often to Lisbon to visit family, it is good to know that we have an excellent and reliable place to stay close by.

Pedro's flat was clean, large and exactly like pictures and description. Fast internet...at least 200Mbs d/u speed and direct access to router if one needs to plug directly via ethernet. The location in Alfama is very central and is on main road with the 28 trolley running directly in front of the building. The noise from street and trolley is minimal. For those who don't know Lisbon, the city in extremely hilly and Alfama even more, so be aware that you will be walking uphill or up stairs very often if you choose this neighborhood. There is another vacation rental upstairs from the flat and depending on how those guests may walk, there could be noise as it is an older building with wood floors. We were aware of small shower...which is accurate...but the volume/pressure of water and very hot temperatures made the shower better than most. Overall, Pedro's flat is great choice and met all expectations.

It was the perfect place to stay for the marathon weekend in Lisbon. The apartment is within walking distance of Alfama, Graca and downtown, it also has a great connection to public transport. Mafalda is friendly, courteous, reliable and makes the stay as pleasant as possible. She has great tips for authentic restaurants nearby. Due to a strike at Frankfurt Airport, I had to stay one night longer and that was not an issue either. I'd love to come back when I'm back in Lisbon.

Annemie is charming and very kind! The accommodation is a true dream of natural beauty. All super organized and exactly as you see in the pictures, actually better than the pictures.

We spent a week at Nuno's flat and had a very comfortable and cosy stay. It was clean, had everything we needed to cook some family meals and provided a cosy environment to rest in after exploring Lisbon. Nuno is very responsive and helpful. We will hopefully be back!

We stayed for the month of February. Everything was perfect for a long stay. Mariana was very helpful. Met us at check in, showed us how everything worked and had lots of local tips to get us started and throughout our stay. The apartment was well laid, nice artwork, furniture comfortable and modern. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen very nice to cook in. Good size for two and easily accommodated three when our daughter joined us for a week. Great location. Easy walk to cafes and restaurants, groceries, historic centre and harbour/beach. Would return in an instant

Everything was great. It was smaller than we expected but it was really cozy and clean. Juan was really helpful and provided us with a lot of useful information about Lisbon.

We had a great stay here, it was perfect for our family vacation. The house is beautiful and very well taken care of, with spacious bedrooms, a large family room and well-equipped kitchen. The garden and pool were also lovely - private and quiet and a great place to hang out. The beach and train station were both a short walk, and Estoril is well-situated for trips to Lisbon and Cascais or to explore towns along the coast. Catarina was a fantastic host and Dona Gilda helped with anything we needed during the stay.

Impeccable exterior for this kind of rental, sun, swimming pool, terrace, fireplace-barbecue, house "like at home" with everything you need to live there, well equipped with household electronics, quiet despite the "Portuguese" dogs who often bark at night but almost not in our case, quiet in the neighborhood, the market 100m from the house and supermarkets that are not very far either, my favorite beach (Princesa) 5 minutes by car.

Fabulous villa and Aksel and Sofia were so accommodation to us on check in and check out. Always responded so quickly, great communication. We went as a large family with grandparents and loved our stay. Kids also loved the pool

Maria and Cesar are excellent hosts. The accommodation is in a lovely and private setting with everything you could need provided. They were both extremely helpful, especially when we had a minor problem with our hire car, but not at all intrusive. We loved our stay.

Was a very nice place to stay and ideal for two families

The place was very quiet, with a nice garden area. We didn’t even feel that the owner’s family was living upstairs, since we didn’t hear any noise at all. We had all the amenities needed, and slept very well in comfy beds. The fact that we were allowed to use the parking inside the house was very handy. The communication with Angelina was very easy and she responded promptly to our questions. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a nice quiet neighborhood, with easy access to Lisbon and Cascais/Sintra areas.

Exceptional views of the ocean and sunset every night. Very good times with the family in the unmissable place of the house: the pool, a real pleasure when you wake up, at noon for an aperitif, and in the evening when you return from the beach!! We had a brilliant time here! Margarida and Abel are generous hosts, and the place itself is great: the amazing views, the playground, the grounds to walk around in, and even in February the swimming pool was great! You’re far enough away from everything to have complete silence at night, and yet only a 10 minute drive from Praia do Meco and the beautiful town of Sesimbra and its beach. We’re already trying to work out when we can head back!

What a fantastic house. Nice pool and very spacious house for our family with 4 teenagers. We enjoyed it. Lisbon close by Magical beaches 7 minutes Stores close by. And a very happy host ❤️
