Our stay at Duarte's cottage has been wonderful. We have been two couples with three dogs and we have all really enjoyed it. The house is completely rural, located on the outskirts of Campo Maior, in a very quiet area where you will not hear a single car. Very helpful Duarte at all times. We stayed three families (6 adults and 6 children) and clearly chose little time to be able to enjoy the house and its surroundings more. The house comes with everything you need and more. I would say that it is enough for you to take your clothes, there are toys, medicines, infinite kitchen accessories, vegetables and fresh eggs from your garden, wine and milk of various types of welcome. The photos do not do justice to the size, aesthetics, and cleanliness of the house. It's full of details that make the stay very comfortable and happy. The very extensive outdoor areas, with a large pool, tennis court, relaxation area with hammocks, meant that our children did not stop all day running and enjoy. Herdade da Maxuqueira is a spectacular place that I hope to be able to return. The interior and exterior areas are very well cared for, equipped and comfortable for the number of people who stay overnight. In addition, Sofia was a great guest always available for any questions that arose. I highly recommend it.

Our stay at this property was excellent. The house is extremely spacious, with 5 bedrooms, a very well decorated rustic room (all well thought out and with very good taste) and 3 very clean and functional bathrooms. Both the beds and linen and towels were comfortable and of quality. Very well equiped kitchen, with several utensils, which made it totally easier to prepare meals. The porch dining area, overlooking the typical Alentejo landscape, created a great environment for our group lunches. The rooms of the house are equipped with air conditioning (essential for the hottest days). In short, the house offers everything you need for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. I highly recommend this property.

STRONGLY RECOMMEND I highly recommend this lovely and charming place. A true gem in Alentejo, surrounded by nature. Clean and spacious space on the inside and large garden, bbq space and terrace outside. The lovely neighbors would make your experience even better with their knowledge, availability and care.
