Vacation rentals with a fireplace in São Martinho do Porto

we loved the apartment. fully equiped even a hottub and bikes were available. good to know is that it is a 30min walk to the town centre but less then 5minutes of stunning rock and ocean view.

The house is very well located, for those looking for a quiet stay and in a quiet neighborhood. Perfect for hiking, bike riding or water sports. The house is very well taken care of and has everything it takes for a great stay. We will return for sure.

Beautiful house by the beach! We loved the peace and the view. The house is very comfortable and has a lot of charm (and a lovely little library). The kitchen especially is well-stocked. Since you’re surrounded by nature there are many spiders, snakes and lizards (mostly outside, thankfully). We visited in November and the temperature in the house really dropped at night (from 20C to 15C). The only option to heat is a small and somewhat noisy space heater, so if you visit in winter be prepared with warm clothes. That was the only thing we found difficult during an otherwise extremely pleasant stay. Pedro was a very friendly and engaged host!

Fabulous location, peaceful surroundings. The whole concept of the place was wonderful. Hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. We found plenty to see and do without travelling too far. We will definitely return if we can.

Super chill and communicative host! Asad made everything easy, anytime we needed something, we just had to text, and he was quick to respond. We had the house to ourselves, and it was amazing—clean, cozy, and exactly as described. Highly recommend!

Very large house with private pool and really huge roof terrace. There were only two of us here, there are beds for 6 people and 2 bathrooms. There is a garage for the car, also enough parking space in front of the house. For surfing: only 10 minutes by car to Baleal and Supertubos is even closer. Thanks to Celia for the wonderful time!

I recommend the space for quiet, local, facilities, entertainment available. Francisco is a very attentive and available host. Nothing to point. Everything 5stars.

We spent a month here and loved every minute! There are a lot of superlative's to describe this place, and the first of them is that this is by far the cleanest Airbnb we've ever stayed at! Besides that, everything about Joao's apartment is as described and for us, was absolutely perfect. The view of course is fabulous, and the location can't be beat. We were close to the stairway up to Sitio (which we walked everyday - a workout but certainly doable and I'm a 70 yr old woman) and you were close to the center of town so walking to dinner was easy. Since we were here a month, we cooked dinner at home a lot, but we also sampled a lot of restaurants! Fornalha is a great "fancier" place to eat and it's right in the neighborhood - about a block away - across the street from the backside of Pingo's (very good grocery store). We also enjoyed Rosa's which is downtown and has fabulous grilled fish.

We loved our stay in Nazare. The town is incredible and our host was friendly and welcoming. She was very clear with check in and showed us around when we got there so we were clear on everything. We visited in the chilly off season and she’d placed extra blankets out for us and set the heat so we’d be warm at night. The location is perfect and view incredible. She left us pastries and port on arrival and the apartment was very clean. The only thing I didn’t love was that all the lightbulbs were very bright white (I’m super light sensitive so it was a “thing” for me but maybe not for others… this is also something we noticed at a lot of restaurants in the town). I can’t recommend the location enough! It was an easy walk to both south and north beach and the parking was a huge plus for us.

Very cozy place. Nicely equipped! Comfy bed. Nice view from the terrace. It was very clean and everything worked perfectly. The building itself is a bit old but once you enter the apartment it is not noticeable anymore. Beaches are close, also some restaurants but possibilities are limited. Closest supermarket is a 10min drive away. We would come back!

The place is spacious, quiet and has good structure for a couple. Despite being a little bit far from the center of Caldas da Rainha, access is fast there. Teresa was very attentive and careful with us.

The house offered an amazing retreat for the nine of us, we felt at home from the very beginning. Plus the hosts were there for every wish and inquiry we had, I would recommend anyone to stay here.

We had a wonderful family holiday at Maverick Surf Villas. Lots to do in the local area, stunning coastline, definitely need a car, but its easy to get every where, roads are very quiet. The villa was beautiful, so much space and everything you could need. Hosts were very helpful, gave us lots of advice on the local area and hosted some lovely dinners. Thank you so much.

The villa is pretty and spacious. However, it is a little aging and could benefit from a few refreshments to be more comfortable. But the location in the golf complex is very nice even if we don't play golf, the beach is quite close and we had a pleasant stay.

We absolutely loved our stay at Carlos’ house. The land is gorgeous, and the sunsets are absolute magic. Everything was perfect: comfortable beds, cozy fireplace, well-equipped kitchen. The house is so beautiful and exudes the love and intention that went into building it. We’ll definitely be back!!

The place was a surprise with the size and the location. We were able to get to the beach and easily drive to other beach towns to see additional sites.

The house corresponds exactly to the pictures. The pool was really heated, which is always a positive surprise (often the ad promises heated pool but then does not materialize). The house was very well prepared to accommodate eight guests, at the level of living areas, crockery and towels. But it would be helpful to have a bathroom with extra shower. Communication with the host was very easy. We could have a late check out at an affordable price. The São Martinho do Porto area is beautiful, and very close to the house we had fantastic views of the bay.

This villa is a true haven of tranquility and rural charm. The house, with ancient and authentic features, preserves the rustic character of the region, but without giving up comfort. The large outdoor space is one of its greatest assets. The backyard is well taken care of, ideal for relaxing outdoors or for those who like to connect with nature. The clean, well-located swimming pool offers a perfect place to cool off on hot days, with a magnificent view of the surrounding countryside. The predominant sound here is that of nature, creating a perfect setting to rest and renew energies. An experience that will surely be hard to forget!
