Our stay at this charming cottage in the Lake District was absolutely unforgettable. Nestled in the heart of this stunning national park, the house offered the perfect blend of comfort, style, and tranquility. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and serene lakes. The house itself was beautifully designed — a perfect mix of modern amenities and rustic charm. The living spaces were spacious, with large windows that let in plenty of natural light and offered panoramic views of the landscape. The location of the house was ideal for exploring the Lake District. There were countless hiking trails right at our doorstep, and we enjoyed some of the most scenic walks we’ve ever experienced. The nearby villages were charming, with cozy pubs and cafes offering local delights.

We had a lovely short break. The barn was very comfortable and like a home from home, lots of space and perfect for our family and dog. Welcome basket was a nice touch and there was a great selection of games and books for our children to use.

We had a wonderful time staying in the magical yurt nestled in the woodland! It was exactly what we needed, a peaceful, restful, comfortable stay in nature. Andri is an incredible host, super friendly and has great recommendations for the area. We felt incredibly welcome on her beautiful permaculture farm and loved hanging out with the friendly chickens and family dog. One of the best places we’ve ever stayed. If you love nature and are craving comfort I highly recommend Howdy glamping!

A great cottage in a lovely location. Beautiful river views just around the corner. Everything as described. Utensils for cooking and eating, rooms clean and warm. Easy access to great locations in the Lake District. Host responsive and helpful. Would definitely recommend and planning our next visit already.

Lovely accommodation. Great view. Spotlessly clean. Everything needed was provided for a relaxing stay by the sea. Perfect location. My dog was very happy with the green space and fresh air. Plenty of room. Full size kitchen. Would definitely stay again.

Such a great place, felt like a lovely home for our holiday in the lakes. Kevin’s home had everything we needed for a comfortable cosy home that we were able to self cater perfectly in. It’s a great location to explore the lakes with great facilities on site too! We hope to return.

Five stars is not enough for here. The most stunning place we have stayed. Dave was great pre stay but left us to ourselves during the stay. Self check in was easy. The house is clean, has the necessary amenities and the most stunning view you will ever see. We come to the lakes a lot but nothing has compared to this stay. We had a lovely walk round the Haverthwaite Circular too. Thank you Dave for some great memories and for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Fantastic located farm surrounded by spectacular view. Excellent for walking and running. Fairly close to supermarket and pubs. Lots of space 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms are all in good sizes. Extra playroom brings the kids a lot of laughter. House is fully equipped. Great stay!
