The house is in an excellent location and fully complies with the description, it is very clean, the host is very kind, he waited for me late to check in, he is available to provide all the information in case you need anything. We had such a pleasant stay in Yadira’s home. Everything was squeaky clean, and just as described. Also we had power consistently. In Cuba there tend to be a lot of power outages, but not in this area for some reason. This is a very walkable area and we enjoyed being able to easily walk to the center of town. Yadira was very kind and easy to communicate with. She gave us lots of tips for what to do and how to navigate the area. So grateful!

I had a great stay at this property. The host was friendly, helpful, and made sure I had everything I needed. One of the biggest positives for me was that the power stayed on consistently, which was important. The WiFi worked well during the day, but it’s worth noting that the host turns it off at night. If power and air conditioning in the rooms are important to you, then I would recommend this place.

The stay was overall pleasant. Craig was great in communicating and knowledgeable about the area. I will recommend it. There was running water at all times. Kitchen was functional.

I honestly do not think that I can write a review that will do justice to the amazing experience that we had at Octavio and Leida's home. I've stayed in many Airbnbs throughout Cuba and this was the best one for so many reasons. The hosts are so genuine and sweet and enthusiastically helped us out with anything we needed, going way above and beyond what hosts normally do. Leida's cooking is fantastic, the location is perfect as it is within walking distance from downtown Santiago and tucked away on a quiet street. Octavio speaks English very well and has a wonderful sense of humour while his wife, Leida, is (as cheesy as it sounds) a ray of sunshine. My group of six stayed at their casa for 2 weeks and always came home to clean sheets and towels. I would recommend Leida and Octavio to anyone who wants an authentic experience in Santiago. Their generosity and kindness cannot be beat!

Entire house on a second floor. Very friendly people. The breakfast is very delicious. 100% recommended.

Yanelis & Yunior are incredible hosts and very responsive to any of our needs at all times. They treated us like family, waiting for us in front of the house upon arrival. Yanelis cooked the best breakfast for us: farm fresh eggs, ham, cheese, fresh baked bread (by Yunior) with espresso every morning. Delicious! Yanelis gave us very good advice on where and where not to go, as well as what time of night is better, always helping us be aware of our surroundings. The location of the house is excellent: In the best (and most secure) neighborhood of Santiago de Cuba, Vista Alegre. There are many places within walking distance, so you don’t really need a car. Security here is absolutely excellent with 2 locked gates, and locked iron doors. I felt as safe here as I would anywhere in the USA. I highly recommend this AirBnB to anyone staying in Santiago de Cuba, They were very gracious and wished us farewell the day we left, in front of the house, again like the great people they are.
