House vacation rentals in Santarém

Peaceful home! No noise, no light (outside at night). The National Parc is a great place with fantastic walks and amazing things to discover - go to see the Dinosaur's footprints, or the lovely chapel made with old dolmens. Be aware that the beds are narrow, not an issue unless you need space while sleeping.

We are a group of 6 adults and a two-year-old. Our goal was to relax and spend a weekend away from the routine confusion and that's exactly what we found. A quiet, quiet neighborhood with no big noises. The house space is amazing, quite charming and welcoming. The room is huge, so is the outdoor space. All bedrooms have direct access to the garden and the pool and the unopened landscape is the cherry on the cake. We really feel at home. Our hosts were extremely friendly and left us completely relaxed from the first exchange of messages to the day of check-in where we met in person. Thank you Maria for sharing this space of yours. We will most likely return

You are already entranced. Filipe and his son graciously show you to your villa. Please note the word “villa”. Stunning wooden door leads you to a vast sitting area. How civilized. Which overlooks your private courtyard. With your own wading pool. All of which leads to the spectacular entrance of your countryside oasis. Prepare to be awed. Soaring high ceilings, vast palatial windows, state-of-the-art everything, waterfall shower…it is SPECTACULAR. AirBnB should have an extra rating for places like this, because 5 stars is too skimpy for such an outstanding place. By the way, when you are lucky enough to go there (because you MUST!) please give a treat to (or adopt!) the ginger kitten we named Chelsea. For this animal/nature/luxury lover, the whole place was out of central casting. In a word: WOW.”

Quality stay in a modern pool house apartment on the Portuguese countryside with beautiful surroundings. Super attentive and helpful hosts. House has everything you need, is clean and you get the feel they think of all the small things you need. The pool is great in a relaxing environment.

We’ve just come back from a wonderful week at Cintia & Carel’s beautiful property! They greeted us like family, and were always happy to help with anything- from how to work the air con, to recommendations for days out- they were always super responsive via text and nothing felt like any trouble! They were also really thoughtful- putting up some balloons on arrival as we mentioned celebrating our daughter’s GCSE’s, it was a lovely touch. They also left us to enjoy the place uninterrupted, understanding the need to recharge and relax- and oh my gosh- the place is STUNNING! super clean and homely inside (with everything you need) and outside is fabulous! The pool is amazing, the outside kitchen a treat, and the views are incredible. It’s even nicer than their already beautiful photos. We went for one day out to Óbidos (go there!) but honestly felt happiest enjoying relaxing at this gorgeous home they have created. We will most certainly be back! Thank you Cintia & Carel ❤️

We found Mafalda’s place a bit by chance in a wide search in the area. Coming in November, we could unfortunately not make real use of the nice surroundings of the "Country House" (maybe more a cottage). It was slightly disconcerting though to realize that after you leave the main road, take some turns, and enter the rural place with the fancy pool, the actual accommodation is located again nearly at the main road and in the evening we heard trucks. No problem at night, though. The place is cosy, which also means not very spacious but well-equipped. Some kitchen equipment could be in better shape. Heating was perfectly fine. Mafalda could not meet us on arrival, but sent very detailed instructions that made it easy for us to find the place and get in. She also responded immediately at all kinds of times to questions that came up. Later, we met her in person and interacted very nicely. All in all, we quite enjoyed our stay at the Country House and would clearly consider returning.

Ana is very welcoming, made the effort to speak our language, the house is clean and well-equipped, suggestion and all the information available on site. A bohemian and very relaxing place. I recommend it for people who want to relax in peace.

Love the place quiet and peaceful!

We loved the house much better than we expected with heating and everything because it was winter. Very large for several people and with nothing around it is very quiet. I only recommend to review the area to enter as it is sometimes difficult to find the best path in Google Maps.

Felt like home, great place

The house is very beautiful and spacious. We especially liked it to be all of stone, it gives it a very rustic look. The garden is also great and very pleasant to spend the afternoon. Fátima was always very helpful.

We were a group of 8 - there were plenty of rooms each with their own bathroom. The place was very clean and we felt right at home. Diogo who met us on the first day was charming and helpful. Took us a while to figure out where to eat close by but luckily there are several supermarkets near by. Some of the rooms are on the third floor (there's an elevator up to the second floor) so may not be suited for everyone. All in all - we had a great time!
