Downtown Napa Gem - perfect for TWO!

Located downtown Napa, a short walk (three blocks) to dozens of shops, restaurants and wine tasting. The property was originally built in 1908 and has recently been remodeled. The rental offers two comfortable bedrooms, two relaxing patios, a living room and one full bath. There is a small refrigerator, microwave, and Keurig coffee maker, but no kitchen. Easy parking in front of the rental. We are one of the 60 hosts with a legal Napa rental permit which allows us no more than two guests.

Julie is an excellent host! We had a fantastic time at the cottage and casita. The pictures and description matched the Airbnb posting and we couldn’t have been more pleased about the picturesque vineyard surroundings. Julie also added the best tiny details like robes in every room, shampoo and conditioner, and additional home supplies. Her guidebook to the surrounding area was also an excellent touch. I would definitely recommend this home for your next getaway!

We had a magical multigenerational stay at Locke's house in Inverness with my husband, three year old and my parents. We visit Pt Reyes regularly and the location is absolutely perfect, quick walk across the road to Chicken Ranch Beach for kids to romp around, a quick drive into Pt Reyes station for dinner, and easy access to all the wonderful Pt Reyes trails. The house itself was cosy, quiet, had amazing views from the deck (and was sunny most of the day which is rare on this side of Tomales bay!) and felt like a real home. We really liked having the separate cottage to provide a bit more privacy and quiet with a young kiddo with us, and we found the kitchen was well equipped for cooking in the evenings. The only very minor challenge we had was trying to heat the cottage and main house evenly as they are on the same heating system, and the nights were chilly during our visit. Definitely staying here again on future trips to Pt Reyes.

Vacation Beach Gem by the River/Hot Tub

It's a nice place with super comfy beds and fancy bathrooms, as everyone says! Unfortunately the living/dining spaces and furniture are much less comfortable, the layout isn't the most conducive to spending time together, and the kitchen was missing some key items. To her credit, Hila was very responsive and even overnighted a box of missing supplies, and offered to fix issues quickly. But a lot of things weren't there as we needed them: a kettle, oven mitts, foil, the salt was almost out, only canola no olive oil, etc. While there were a lot of nice touches around the house, there were just as many small annoyances that felt like they wouldn't be tolerated if someone lived there. If you plan to spend most of the day out and just come back to sleep, wash up, and hot tub, this is perfect. If you want to cook and be cozy/comfy together, maybe not ideal? Nearby MUSTS: Sonoma Pizza Co. Lightwave Cafe Armstrong Redwoods

Our stay in Bolinas was fantastic, and we couldn't recommend Francesca's casita more highly. What a peaceful, beautiful setting for exploring Bolinas and the surrounding area. The casita was the perfect size for a long weekend stay for two adults and a toddler, and the large yard and treehouse were a huge hit with the toddler. The kitchen was extremely well-stocked for its size with everything you could need to cook meals, which was very helpful given that dining options in Bolinas are pretty limited. We would definitely return!

This was a great house to stay in. It is quiet and off the highway a bit, but the walk to the beach is short and easy. There is tons to do within a short drive either towards Bodega Bay or North. This is a great spot if you like the outdoors. The house is cozy and clean, my family loved the spa and just hanging out. The house was well stocked with everything you need for cooking and being at the beach, there is even a carafe for coffee if there are a lot of coffee drinkers in the house. Alora is great, she is super responsive and very friendly to work with. I highly recommend staying is her home.

Aaron's place is a wonderful retreat right on the water. It is a beautiful house that is private and tucked off of the main road. Everything we needed was there. Full kitchen with great appliances, cozy living room & bedroom. All main rooms of the house have wonderful views of the water, bay and mountains beyond. Sitting on the deck is incredible with the water coming in below you at medium and high tide. The hot tub is excellent amenity! relaxing outdoors and seeing the moon & stars is an unforgettable experience! Aaron is a great host, very communicative and friendly. Highly recommend.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at Sarah's place! Sarah has created a back yard paradise and the cottage is lovely. The beds are really comfortable. It is also within walking distance of a great coffee shop that had wonderful breakfast and lunch options. We ate there several times. The Vallejo ferry to San Francisco is a convenient distance from the cottage and worth the ride. This is a wonderful gem in the Airbnb world. And Sarah is amazing!
