Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Santa Monica State Beach

Great place to stay for our family, close to great restaurants on 2nd street but off the main commercial area enough to be quiet and comfortable.

Cheryl was always attentive to make sure we had what we needed, which made us feel very welcomed and comfortable. I highly recommend this little house to anyone looking for a charming and safe place to stay.

Oliver was proactive from the moment of booking. The house was easy to find with private back entrance. Place was clean and bedrooms were in order. Plenty of towels for our stay. 3 block walk to Monrovia center and pleasantly surprised to see a street festival every Fri night with food trucks and many vendors. Restaurants a plenty also. We had a great time and will definitely be booking again if in the area.

Frank and Lenka’s place is conveniently located within 15 min of major attractions- Universal, Warner Brothers, Beverly Hills to name a few. Some other reviewers said that the road noise in the front of the house didn’t bother them, but we found it pretty loud. Parking was easy with the included parking pass, although I tried to park on the side streets when possible because the cars constantly flying by the front of the house made me nervous! We appreciated the nice appliances in the kitchen and access to laundry. Unfortunately it was a bit chilly during our visit so we didn’t get to sit outside on the private side patio, but the cushions seemed a bit dirty. Frank and Lenka were quick to respond to the questions we had.

Beautiful bungalow with unique interior decor right on a thoroughfare of Echo Park but still exceptionally quiet for LA (especially at night and in the back bedrooms). Walkable to a couple coffee shops without being in the chaos of sunset blvd etc. (as much as I love EP, parts are not as easy to sleep — this area is). Big kitchen with open layout. Hot water kettle for a tea addict. Three comfortable beds with pillow options (always welcome). Blackout blinds in the rooms, which were greatly appreciated.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Laura’s! The home was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. One of the highlights for us was the private, fenced yard—our dogs absolutely loved it! The thoughtful touch of little doggie treats made them feel just as welcome as we did. The space was peaceful, cozy, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. We truly appreciated Laura’s hospitality and would absolutely stay again. Highly recommend!

Great location, close to all the things we wanted to do. The house was plenty of space for our family of 4, wish the weather had been better so we could have enjoyed the pool, but we got to use the bikes to ride to the beach and enjoyed the fire pit. Coni was very accommodating, and responded quickly to all our questions. We loved the art and all the books she displayed throughout the house. Definitely will stay here again if we get the chance!

Thomas and Cecilia were very responsive to our requests. They accommodated additional requests we had other than what was published in the listing. The patio was awesome. I would definitely go back if I visit Santa Ana again.

I entered the Airbnb in the immediate aftermath of the Altadena fire. The hosts were responsive and showed concern for my family's welfare and comfort. They were very empathetic and wanted to be sure we were safe. I appreciated that as well as the comfort of their home. Remarkably, they still had an air filter that was ready for use when many other rentals have put it away. I loved having a full kitchen and good pots and pans. The beds were comfortable and the unit was very clean. I appreciated every detail they put into this unit. Top notch in every way!

Thank you again for making my stay so warm and comfortable, I can't say enough, about your hospitality. The place is a wonderful surprise which is totally redone and very nice and the patio for my dog to run in and out was perfect. The neighborhood is very close to the Norma Triangle which is upbeat, casual, lovely, and super trendy. I loved my breakfast at "Bravo Avacado"on Doheny Drive plus Melrose, Santa Monica and Sunset are minutes away. Thanks again, Teri

The place was just beautiful with the views! Couldn’t ask for a better place to stay in Malibu. The AC was not working. Communicated with owners and he responded they would get it repaired. Didn’t happen during our stay and the afternoons were really warm inside. Overall I would stay there again!

Though I would love to gatekeep this place so it’s always available to book when I’d like, This Airbnb is 100x better than staying in a hotel in LA. Price wise, convenience, and accommodations. The parking is secure so you don’t have to worry about your nice car being messed with. The apartment itself is clean and very aesthetic. The ambiance makes one feel they are at their own vacation rental. It’s close to whatever you’d need. It has security guarding inside and outside the premises. The host was extremely detailed check in steps & very responsive even late at night. I wouldn’t see a reason you’d think twice about staying here!

The place was very easy to find, and the host was readily available to answer any questions we had during our stay. The house was clean and exactly as described in the pictures. For the price we paid, it was quite spacious and located in a great neighborhood. Fantastic host and a wonderful place to stay!

Super clean space, nice security enforcement. Roof top hot tub is amazing!! Communication from Ali was kind and fast. If you are a light sleeper, use the ear plugs. All the instructions given are clear. Location is nice, check out the restaurants & bars that neighbor this building. Thank you!!!

Great place to stay in DTLA, definitely the spot to be if you want a bit of night life on Broadway. Ubers are very easy to get and not expensive if your traveling around the city. It is downtown so the night life and sounds do continue late into the night. The space itself was very clean, comfortable, and great amenities. Staff in the lobby was very nice and easy to work with and Peter was extremely responsive and gave great instructions.

This great beach house made us feel a part of the neighborhood. It felt like a piece of old Venice but modernized for comfort, with all the art and surfboards. Made me want to surf! It's easy to tell Nicole has a strong connection to the neighborhood and she shared it with us. After a full day of adventuring in LA, it was great to come back, make some food, and play darts, pool and foosball. I would 100% stay here again if I came back.

Shant’s place was perfect! I was there for a conference at the convention center which was a short Lyft ride there. If the weather was better I would have easliy walked. The interior looked even better than the photos and the entire building was clean and quiet. Despite being in busy DTLA, it felt safe and was very secure with security/door men at the entrance 24/7 (they were very friendly and kind too- added bonus!). It was easy to have groceries and food delivered to my door. The restaurant immediately next to the building was veryyy good and had food and beverages from 7am to 11pm- great atmosphere, food was delicious, service was great. There wasn’t many other places on that block but many just a block away. the grand central market was a 15 minute walk with lots of dining options. Very close to LA Live and Staple Center. The only thing to note is that it is in DTLA with a very diverse population of people. I highly recommend Shant’s place!

I would like to thank Kimberly for everything she has done. Her house is a great location. Our family enjoyed the stay and we highly recommend it. Everything is close by, the beach, the markets, the gas stations and all the restaurants.

Thanks so much Zack and Malibu Suites team! The place was beautiful. Pictures were accurate and location can't be beat. If you enjoy hearing the ocean crash at your doorstep and fizzle back out then you can't find a better spot. We have traveled to many places and beaches.... this is the closest oceanfront you'll find in the states. Great communication from start to finish. Very responsive to anything we needed. We had a wonderful time with family and friends in beautiful southern California. So peaceful. Malibu has become a random, surprise favorite.
