Waterfront vacation rentals in Santa Monica

Stunning home in such a prime location! Right across from the beach with two patios for people watching or watching the sunset. Easy to walk to any and everything from free aquariums to local restaurants. The space itself was exactly as pictured if not larger and from beginning to end the host was very responsive and helpful. I would definitely recommend booking if you see this spot available!

We had a great stay! The place was very clean, check-in was smooth, and communication with the host was excellent. The location is perfect—just steps from the beach and near public parking, which made everything super convenient. We also really appreciated the thoughtful welcome treats. Would definitely stay here again!

I had a fantastic stay in Long Beach! The place was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully put together. It had everything I needed for a relaxing stay, and the location was perfect—close to great restaurants, the beach, and local attractions. Ami was communicative and welcoming, making check-in and check-out smooth and hassle-free. Highly recommend!

Great stay!!!! This apartment is perfect location, easy access and the view from the room is magical The studio was very clean, and having the window open with fresh ocean air was great! The kitchen was well stocked with the basic necessities, and a 5 min walk to Trader Joe’s was helpful to stock up on some great snacks and meals Chris was a great host, very responsive and helpful I will be sure to check if this place is available for our next trip to Santa Monica

What a wonderful stay with a beautiful beach front! Parking wasn’t too bad although we had to walk a bit each night which is due to our fault leaving early morning and coming back at 11-12 at night so of course closer parking is not expected but there is a nice area to ensure we can park temporarily for luggage unloading etc. The shower was absolutely amazing and I always looked forward to taking one! Kim was an amazing host and very responsive! I def recommend and would 100% go back!

We had an incredible stay at Bradley's Airbnb in Manhattan Beach! The location was perfect—just a short walk to the beach, as well as multiple restaurants and shops, making it so easy to explore the area. The apartment itself was fantastic: well-stocked, clean, and spacious enough to comfortably accommodate our family of five, including three teenagers. Bradley's father, Robert, was the main contact and is an excellent host. He was always available for recommendations and went above and beyond by giving us a personal walking tour of the area when we arrived. His knowledge of the local spots made our trip even more enjoyable. Overall, our experience was amazing, and we highly recommend staying here! It was the perfect place for our family vacation. We can not wait to return!

Excellent stay ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️host was amazing very responsive and helpful! Flexible with the check in and the apartment is really lovely! Looks exactly like the pictures, strong WiFi, well stocked kitchen and sincerely appreciated the filtered water in the fridge upon arrival and a plethora of espresso ☕️ machine options on a daily! The gym is great 😊 super close to the Santa Monica Pier boardwalk, the awesome Saulino Smith hair salon conveniently located, delicious variety of restaurants, and my favorite Go Greek yogurt & froyo 🍦 shoppe! Would stay here again in a heartbeat! 💗

Can’t beat this amazing beach front location in Belmont Shore. The views from the living room, master bedroom and back patio will leave you mesmerized and make it hard to leave the home. Luckily the neighborhood is so quaint with walking paths on both sides of the peninsula that you will want to enjoy a morning stroll, if not a run on the beach. The house is so roomy that we could comfortably fit our extended family without anyone tripping over each other. The hosts were extremely responsive and provided detailed information to make sure we immediately felt at home. We highly recommend this beautiful home!

We've stayed at many AirBnBs over the years, and Debra's place will always stand among the best. An easy, charming walk to the beach is a highlight, for sure, but the house itself is larger than we expected. The owners retreat at the back of the house is quietly set back from the front of the house and the other two bedrooms, allowing for privacy for parents and teens, and we had ample tables and chairs to do our work, our reading, and our planning for day trips. Easy drive to/from the airport, exceedingly walkable to pretty much anything you'd want or need, and parking on-street was consistently easy, right in front of the house. Debra is an ideal host: careful, thoughtful, fun, kind. She made us the best lemonade on earth from the lemons on the tree out front of the house. The hummingbirds were active throughout the day, and watching them at the kitchen window was idyllic. The gardens in the back of the house were amazing. Hard to not say more: a truly great stay!

A unique and lovely house close to the action but in a peaceful setting. The front garden is a magical oasis that I did not want to leave. House had everything you need for a great stay.

Fantastic host! Stocked the fridge with water and left us some fruit and chocolate for our arrival. Gave us early check in and late checkout. The house itself was very clean and well maintained. The upstairs bathrooms even have bidets. Would 100% stay again. The only negative worth mentioning is the house is on a main road so there was car noise audible in the mornings. But that's the trade off for being directly across from the beach entrance.

It was an amazing place to stay with beautiful rooftop views. Clifton was very helpful with checking and with any questions I had. Although beware. Like other reviews the only thing is there is at of stairs as every rooms and living room are on separate floors. It’s definitely not a complaint for me but you can find it tiring after a long day out. There was clean linens, towels, and toiletries available. Has a gas stove that worked great with some pans included that we made French toast with. The area also great and felt safe 24/7. It had garage parking which is great as the area can fill up during the day time with people going to the beach. I’d highly recommend the place, especially if staying for multiple days or with other people. It’s a great roomy location that I hope to be able to return to sometime.

Victoria was an amazing host! Very communicative and such a kind heart. The fires were happening in the north and our friends we were meeting at her house, came in a day earlier and were staying in another hotel close to fires. She offered them to come a day early to get away from the smoke!! Her house was south of fires, so we were OK here. She then offered us a late checkout as our flight wasn't until 8pm at night. This was so welcome as we have young children. She really went above and beyond! Her place is very homely and great to be close to the beach. Thank you for everything Victoria :)

Great host, not only is Matt’s place amazing, but he is a top notch host! Truly cares about his guests and quick response times! The house was incredible kitchen had all supplies so I was able to cook without missing anything! The fire pit and BBQ on front patio allowed for amazing memories! The rooftop patio, perfect for the morning sun! Walkable to Main Street and the beach! We never had to drive anywhere! Will definitely be staying here again!

I could not say enough about my stay here. It was absolutely perfect. I couldn’t be anymore thankful for them letting us use the Airbnb and everything they did to make my stay nothing short of perfect. 10/10 I recommend this.

Loved the place!!! I felt it was a just as I expected! The only thing that could have been better was the pull out bed —- a bit firm.

Yese is a very responsive host. Her place was absolutely beautiful, clean and in a perfect location. I was able to cook several meals in the well stocked kitchen and it was easy to feel at home in this place. We would stay again!

This condo was very beautiful and the views from the living room and dining room were amazing. Our only thing is we didn't realize how steep the stairs were, and my mother couldn't climb them, so she had to stay somewhere else. Then we checked out. So, we paid for something we couldn't enjoy and that was sad. Not even a small portion of a refund was offered to us.

Such a wonderful place and excellent host! Nico was so responsive and proactive! The place is adorable and walking distance to the beach, marina, convention center and many many restaurants. Had a great time. Oh I forgot to mention ton how comfortable the bed was. Better than anyplace I’ve ever stayed at. Loved it!

absolutely STUNNING!!!! pictures do not do this place justice and the waves that crash up makes the world's most peaceful sleep!!! My husband LOVED the shower the water pressure was the best and the water got super hot! beds were comfy, everything was clean and neat, parking was private and everything was exceptional!! thank you so much

Maya’s place was awesome! It was walkable to great restaurants and the beach, and Maya was helpful and responsive to all of our needs.

The location is a dream, but what made this space really stand out were the charming Christmas decorations both inside and out, Susan’s quick responses when we had questions, willingness to help us with parking, and literally ANYTHING we needed. Also I just have to comment on how wonderfully comfortable the bed was in the master bedroom. A truly special place on Balboa island in a prime location - for a spectacular stay! Highly recommend! If you’re looking at listings in this area just stop at this one and know you found the right one. We were so happy that we decided on Crystal’s property to stay for our family vacation, and would not only do it again but are also looking forward to returning. You can’t beat the location, views, and the pool/beach access. The setup feels like a beach resort without the commotion, and the condo itself makes you feel right at home. Great experience overall.
