Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Santa Marta

Location can be tricky to get to, but for us, that was part of the adventure. Not sure it would be for everyone. This is a very open house concept and since we visited during the rainy season, it was very damp. We live on our sailboat, so none of it was not new for us. If you aren't in for a unique nature forward experience, then its not for you. Waking up to the sounds of the birds and river flowing was amazing! Weather was cool at night which was great and there is a waterfall not far. The little town of Minca was super cute and quaint and we ended up finding our way to a SUPER unique spa basically in the middle of a jungle . Lots of shops and restaurants there as well. But the best part of this place was tala's cooking. She uses a lot of ingredients from her land or from Colombia in general and is very creative. I generally felt better after eating there for a few days, was very clean cooking and a lot of veggies. If you want to see a vlog of our stay here, search for sailing too short on YT.

Guillermo and his family host guests in a delightful location atop a tall hill in Santa Marta with a view of the town, ocean and mountains. There is no air conditioning but the constant off shore wind from the surrounding mountains keeps the temperature in check and the environs practically bug free. The gardens are pleasant to view and attract a wide variety of birds. Each room is different and all the ones we saw had a unique feature that made them nice. Guillermo's house next to the guest rooms is a lovely building. The pool is private and enjoyable. The best features of this BnB, however, are Guillermo and his assistant Carlos. Guillermo provided our family with numerous good suggestions for enjoying the area and even drove us about himself when we were in need of a working cash machine or a SIM card for the mobile phone. Guillermo's assistant, Carlos, provided breakfast with a gentle wake up, towels, hot water for tea and numerous other comforts with a smile and good will. A lovely spot with lovely hosts. We decided to stay an extra day

We were greeted late by Frances, always smiling and available. The accommodation is as advertised, large airy terrace upstairs, another cozier terrace inside. The hotel is quiet compared to the hustle and bustle that goes on for a good part of the night on the waterfront. Wilmar is very responsive by messages, he offered us the services of a super nice taxi driver (Miguel), he also agreed to let us leave our things in the hotel after returning the keys to our room at noon. The shared kitchen is minimalist and is missing a fridge but you can store your food in a cooler.

Great place to stay in Santa Marta! The room was nice and clean, the area was quiet, but still close to the restaurants, bars and the beach. Everyone was very friendly and the communal spaces were very nice. Would definitely stay here again

Stunning room with stunning views of Taganga Beach. Very welcoming and responsive staff. The room was clean and well equipped.
